Fantastic experience: We had our wedding flowers done by Pam’s Flower Garden and I cannot recommend them enough! Makayla was absolutely incredible to work with. She met every conversation with thoughtfulness, attention to detail and care which made this experience both seamless and enjoyable. She was also very willing to work with our budget. Following our consultation, she sent a “mood board” that brought our vision to life. She was easy to communicate with including sending photo updates of our flowers as they were complete. She installed everything on our wedding day elevating our whole venue. Thank you Makayla for making this experience so special. I will continue to highly recommend Pam’s Flower Garden!

Negative experience: I came in with a small budget if 15-25 looking for a flower for a table. Just something small and pretty- not expecting an arrangement or anything over the top. The sales girl made me feel like my money wasn’t good enough. She said nothing she can give me for that small of a budget ( in front of people ) although the whole front of the store had small plants within my budget she kept repeating nothing within that price range. I ended up leaving with one planted flower for 16$. The sales girl with the dark brown hair ensured I won’t be back I’m even if my budget was bigger

Negative experience: I was surprised with a hand tied bouquet of flowers yesterday at my workplace and feel the value of the flowers aren’t there for the cost of them. There were 3 gerberas and the remainder all filler flowers. Delivered before noon as requested by the sender but no wrap around the base of the stems to keep them moist until I finished my work day! Poor value and not worth the cost! Last year I received flowers from another local shop and the value was much better - shop around!

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed and feel misled by the pricing. Charging $130 for a bouquet that’s easily worth a third of that is deceptive, especially on Valentine’s Day when people are looking for something special. This florist is clearly taking advantage of the holiday, and I won’t be a customer again

Fantastic experience: Popped in here while walking by, and this local flower shop is beautiful. What drew me in was a $5 clearance on these white roses, but inside the store was HUGE, I could’ve spent all day looking around! The staff is lovely and accommodating, plus they offered a student discount coupon to me - although I’m not sure how long that lasts. The plant cutting bar was also a cute way for folks to get started with growing their own plants, not to mention affordable. Great way to support local and spruce up your living space or make someone’s day!

Negative experience: Not impressed with this arrangement that costed $128, it has 7 flowers!!! This is not what I ordered, and I definitely feel ripped off. Would not recommend to anyone to purchase from here. I’ll be bringing these flowers back and getting a refund. This is insulting

Fantastic experience: I originally ordered a bouquet for my wife's birthday and the flowers were underwhelming and did not match the expectations from the pictures on the website. I reached out to relay my concerns and received some great customer service from Jeff who offered to deliver another bouquet in replacement. Months later, I reached out to Jeff again to see if I could have a specific bouquet and get them delivered a couple days later. Jeff's reply was immediate and confirmed he could do this. The flowers were delivered exactly when I requested and they looked great. I was very happy with the service provided. In fact, this was one of the best customer service experiences I have had and Jeff was exceptional, easy going, and made this whole process simple. If you want excellent service and flower arrangements, Pam's Flower Garden should be your first choice. Thanks again Jeff!

Huge shout-out to Kate for all her hard work in creating such beautiful arrangements for our wedding! I didn't have a concrete plan in mind for my flowers, but she did an amazing job at listening to my ideas, and providing me with options at what would work the best. My niece's absolutely adored their flower wands, and I remember seeing one of them wearing it on her dress belt like she was straight from Harry Potter! I was also very impressed with how the Eucalyptus garland for our head table turned out! I was also very impressed that you were able to collaborate with our cake designer, Warrior Cakes, to ensure that our cake display looked beautiful. Negative experience: Although the sympathy flowers we ordered were beautiful, I was very disappointed with the service we received when we ordered flowers for a friends family. When I placed the order, I only had an address, I did not have a phone number for the family. I was told, quite harshly, that if they attempt to make a delivery and no one is there that they would charge me another 30$ for a second attempt at delivery. Then, of the 3 vases that we selected that were shown online that I wanted, she stated they did not have them and did not offer any options. Also, I was told what I wanted written on the card was way too long. I am only now seeing there in an option to purchase a bigger card. That was not given to me. Lastly, I asked for a photo of the flowers, and was told there is a 5$ charge to email. All in all we were very disappointed with the service we received. We paid almost 300$ for flowers, and there was no compassion, empathy nor solutions offered for both the vases and card selection… Sent an email over a week ago and no response

Brought chair out for Mom to rest/sit and wait. Offered water and checked on us. Incredible conversation with gentleman also. It was the nicest kindest Care and concern ever. I live in Toronto and my Godmother is in a retirement home and I needed assistance with finding the perfect gift. Everything was exceptional. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Pam's Flower Garden for wedding flowers! Penny designed beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages that fit my colour and style descriptions perfectly. She was even willing to incorporate some lace ribbon into my Mom's wrist corsage from her own wedding bouquet 30 years ago. Pam's arranged to have our flowers delivered to the Whitney Manor before our arrival the evening before the wedding, and ensured they would keep overnight until the next morning. Our flowers lasted all day and my bridesmaids said they kept for nearly 2 weeks afterwards. I'm having my bouquet preserved and am so thankful that I'll have this special keepsake forever! Thank you so much to Penny and everyone else at Pam's for helping to make our day a special one.

Fantastic experience: Called from BC after hours regarding a local delivery request. They could clearly tell it was important and I needed the delivery local to Kingston asap. Even though they were closed they took my order, still took the time to double check details and promised next day delivery. I'm very greatful for their wonderful customer service.

Fantastic experience: I recently ordered a floral arrangement through a funeral home service, and three hours prior to the visitation I received a phone call that the order was cancelled. I am from out-of-town so I didn't know any florists in Kingston. I googled to try to find another one who could help me. After contacting one who wasn't able to, I phoned Pam's and they not only helped, but delivered a beautiful arrangement within an hour and a half!! I was so very thankful for the amazing service! I would definitely recommend Pam's Flower Garden!

Positive experience: Received an arrangement from Pam's Flower Garden, for my birthday, which was OK - very green, white and a little yellow - not very bright (it was a phone order from outside the city, so maybe person ordering wasn't specific enough re birthday - bright colours); there was a mix up re delivery time and flowers were delivered earlier than they were supposed to be, causing them to be left out in the cold and subsequently a couple of days later, the flowers started to wilt. I called Pam's and spoke with Owner/ Manager, Jeff, and explained what had happened; he apologized and said he would do something to "make it right" ... next day, a beautiful pkg of cut flowers was delivered. Thank you Jeff. I would recommend Pam's .

Fantastic experience: I have been buying my plants from Pam's for years now, and I have never been disappointed with my purchase or the service received. I just bought three gorgeous hanging plants for my husband for Father's Day, and he and I both could not be happier with how these beauties brighten up our house. The plants are so gorgeous and healthy, and I know that they will thrive in our home because they have been well taken care of and nurtured. The folks at Pam's were super generous and friendly in helping me select our plants. Curbside pick-up was quick and easy, and as always, I was met with a smile at the door. I am already looking forward to buying more beautiful plants -- not for any special occassion; just because they are so lovely and because I truly enjoy shopping at Pam's.

Negative experience: VERY EXPENSIVE and DISAPPOINTING. I purchased 'Morning Melody' and was very excited by the photos posted on their website but in person the arrangement was underwhelming. They did NOT come as pictured. I understand that it won't always look exactly as it does online (as they might not have some flowers, etc.) but I expected better. I order flowers often, and from various places and usually it's pretty close in appearance. If they don't have the specific flower pictured, usually a substitute flower is offered in its place.. not fully excluded as it was here (small purple flowers with petals). The arrangement pictured on their website looked so beautiful and full but what we got was 6 roses (as pictured on website, which I'm okay with), a few green leaves and the small purple 'Baby's-breath' flowers. The worst part is that they tried to fill the flowers by putting the ribbon inside with the bouquet (rather than wrapped around the vase) to make it more full looking.... for $125 (pricing includes delivery + tax) I expected better...Although I must note that delivery service was good but it does and did not compensate for the disappointing arrangement. Overall, I would NOT recommend.

Positive experience: I actually really like this store but be careful because they are much higher prices than elsewhere and especially from nurseries. love it but yeah, price:( this is only for plants and not the flower arrangements they do!

Fantastic experience: We ordered same day delivery from FlowerShopping.com and they called us at 3:30pm to tell us they couldn't delivers the same day anymore. We scrambled to find someone who could send my friend flowers for her fathers passing the same day. Pam's Flower's went above and beyond in a scramble and got us an arrangement for delivery by 4pm. We are so incredibly thankful and grateful the staff went above and beyond for us today. The arrangement was beyond beautiful! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Pam's Flower Garden! The flowers were for my mother in laws birthday, and I was delighted with the service and quality provided. Made my order by phone, where the staff helped me pick out an arrangement after describing my MIL tastes, arranged for delivery, and were very transparent about what the arrangement would look like (i.e. no surprise substitutes and guarantees about what would be in the arrangement). The flowers were delivered promptly and were beautiful - the roses and tulips had perfect apertures, and will surely be in bloom for a week or more. To top it al off, the owner and staff are lovely people.

Negative experience: Buyer beware. A couple of months ago I had bought this beautiful Marengo ivy plant from Pam’s. The plant cost me over 40 dollars for a 6 inch basket. Sadly the plant had become seriously infested with spider mites. None of my other 100+ houseplants have ever had pest issues. I’d called the store to see if they offered any kind of warranty on their plants. The unfriendly woman who took the call said “about” two weeks (whatever that means). Poor customer service and product for the prices they charge. I will never purchase another plant from this company. I will continue to give stores such as Home Depot and Rona Home and Garden my business. They charge half the price for bigger plants and offer a 1 year warranty with proof of purchase. I try to shop local as much as I can. This is one local shop that clearly doesn’t back up their products. Sad.
