Fantastic experience: awesome florist but you already know this judging by the past reviews of others who have posted before me. I was off by three house address and needed to be corrected, from 5,000 miles away. Once done, they still delivered on time and on the same day. Love these people. Great service, great product. Fantastic experience: This is a late review but a well deserved review I ordered 6 Holly wreaths for Christmas they were the best we had ever had so beautiful However the main reason for this review is to thank everyone at Davies Florist my son her lives abroad and has sent his Nana flowers every Christmas since his grandad passed away and sadly he has been let down on many occasions but not this year the flowers were so fresh and beautiful and lasted for ages Thank you from us all

Fantastic experience: Rang Monday spoke to a loverly woman, thought I’d missed the deadline to send my new boyfriend a single red rose heart display, she said it wasn’t a problem just had to wait for delivery man to return. My boyfriend received it & absolutely loved it.. so I will definitely be using again ..as he’s 3hours away from me it’s nice to know a reliable friendly service is happy to oblige…

Fantastic experience: I called the shop and the lady I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. She explained that she has been doing flowers for 23 years, and it really shows in her expertise. I popped in, and she made me a lovely bunch of flowers based on the amount I wanted to spend. I can’t fault the service at all — I will definitely use this florist again.

For the past 3 times we have used these florists we have been very close to the events at the time of ordering (weddings, birthdays and funerals), but time and time again they have been consistent, well organised & on time, every time! Fantastic experience: Absolutely exceptional service from all the staff. The lady who did my nans funeral flowers were outstanding. Listened to everything I wanted and help me with options aswell. I went into the shop to drop off message cards and seen my nans flowers ready to go and really took me by surprise, I got very emotional, the staff were more than helpful. Negative experience: Spoke to a woman named Joanna who apparently owns the shop, she was rude, abrupt and generally unhelpful. She seemed like she just wanted to get rid of me and when I pointed out that she wasn’t being friendly she refused to serve us and handed over to another colleague who displayed the mannerisms she should have! Never ever going back to this place as they treat people like dirt!

Fantastic experience: My fiancé surprised me with the most beautiful sunflower bouquet. The order was placed at 3pm and delivered by 3.40pm. The woman he dealt with was extremely lovely and took extra care to ensure his last minute order was delivered as expected. Even though it was past cut off for same day delivery, they made an exception which was hugely appreciated. A little kind act truly went a long way. Thank you so much!!

Negative experience: Have bad experience with this place. Came in the shop to get a bunch of flowers and the owner start to shout at me with no reason.. I know it is one of few florists in Newport, but because of attitude never ever again going there.

Fantastic experience: I cannot highly recommend this florist enough. In January 2022 I ordered flowers for my father's funeral. From walking in through the door to leaving, I was treated with much care and compassion. They even helped with the idea of making him a ""John Smiths " beer in a glass in flowers as that was my dad's favourite tipple. Such a personal touch. We have had a bouquet since which must have had every flower in the shop within it Stunning! A huge thank you to very special people.

Fantastic experience: Davies flowers created beautiful flowers for my nans funeral, I wanted very specific colours as this was important to me and I was advised it would be difficult due to the colours chosen being hard to make them stand out and when we saw them they were absolutely beautiful and perfect colours for what I wanted to represent, worked with colours closest to my request and worked perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for detailed caring professionals.

Fantastic experience: Bought flowers for my mums birthday through eflorist same day delivery which processed my order to Davies Florist in my local area. I ordered first thing in the morning and they arrived 2:30pm in the afternoon. Great service from Davies, the flowers look amazing and my mum loved them.

Fantastic experience: Superb service. I contacted Davies Florist at 6.45pm on Friday night 2nd July by email as I needed flowers urgently for Monday morning. Due to covid restrictions this was a last minute order. Johanna replied to my email at 7.23pm the same night. She sent a second email answering my questions at 6.25am the following morning. I rang her at 9.00am and the service she gave was the best, so polite, so friendly and helpful and she made it all very easy at what was a very sad time. The flowers she sent this morning were just lovely and exactly what we wanted. I can't recommend Davies Florist highly enough, especially for the out of hours service. Well done Johanna. I will say I sent an email to another recommended florist in Newport at the same time on Friday night, in case one couldn't help out, but they didn't bother to reply.
