The delivery address wasn’t easy to find, but they persevered, kept us updated throughout, and ensured the flowers arrived safely. Positive experience: I wanted to write an honest review about my experience. I ordered my wedding bouquet from Covent Garden when I got married and I was so thrilled with it that I decided to order my sister her bouquet from there too for one of her ceremonies. I sent emails with reference pictures (attached with the email and dress) and requested earthy tones. Unfortunately when the bouquet arrived, it was lovely however there were 7 stems of fuschia pink roses included which clashed with the stage. My experience through the order process and discussion was friendly and positive, so I assumed that a rectification would be met with similar professionalism. I called Covent Garden and requested if the 7 stems (in a relatively large bouquet costing £90) could be switched out to any red colour they had. I was advised that they only had blood red roses which I was happy to go ahead with. The issue arose when it was evident that the shop assistant was annoyed and I was provided a long list of things I had to understand being: - they closed at 4 and have another wedding to deal with at the Vale resort and it would take an additional 2 hours to sort out the bouquet - the driver would have to be contacted to pick the bouquet back up (I did offer to drive them down myself) - that the reference picture had pink in it - it may be me but the picture I sent I didn’t think it had pink and I requested earthy tones. I believed the rest of the bouquet was beautiful it was just 7 pink roses I requested changed. - I didn’t provide any swatches or fabric reference and didn’t come in for a consultation. I didn’t realise this was expected and had said that if that was the expectation, I would have done so. It was never mentioned that I should. The reason I did not go in and order is that I’m currently heavily pregnant and I never had reason to doubt that a phone and email order wouldn’t suffice as I never had issue in the past. Overall I was taken aback by how defensive the conversation was. I was initially happy to pay the additional cost for any inconvenience caused and directly asked how much it would be. But as the attitude turned hostile and condescending and I was again provided with a list of why it was my fault and what I needed to consider again, I said it was alright I’ll change the flowers out myself I was told no to keep it as is or return it back to Covent Garden. In the end I said I’ll leave it and still changed out the 7 flowers myself and the bouquet still looks beautiful. The flowers are of lovely quality. I did not call to complain but simply request if it was possible to change out the 7 stems. As the flowers were quite large in the bouquet, it was hard to miss them. I have to be fair and state that the driver was kind and came back to our house and showed us a few of the red roses he had in his van. He was kind and sincere but as I was not prepared to deal with the lady at store again, I opted not to take the flowers and instead bought my own red roses from Sainsbury’s. Overall it was hit and miss, because I did truly feel that I did get very good service throughout, until things went wrong. I accept my part as perhaps I myself was not clear enough in my explanation of the earthy tones required when I asked for the flowers to match the dress. but I simultaneously would not wish to be spoken to in a condescending manner again over 7 flowers - if I was simply told that I couldn’t swap them and they’re unable to do it, that would have been fine as these things happen. I’ve aimed to be honest in my review but it was a dampening experience after a genuinely lovely experience until then.

Fantastic experience: I took a relative who was visiting from the states to this florist an hour before their closing time. She requested 4 large bouquets made to order, as the pre made ones weren’t quite what she was looking for. The lady was so accommodating and made the bouquets exactly how my relative requested. The vases that they sell weren’t big enough for the bouquets, so the owner very kindly allowed us to hire 4 large vases for a very reasonable fee. When the owner discovered the flowers were for a memorial gathering, he then offered to deliver the flowers and vases directly to the venue at no extra charge. Unbelievably kind, and the flowers were stunning. Thanks so much xx

Negative experience: I ordered flowers online well in advance with a request to deliver in the morning as we intended going out for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. I rang at 10:30am to ask an ETA which I was told about 40 mins which I thought great. They eventually turned up at 1:38pm so we had to cancel of lunch out both not happy.

Negative experience: Disgusting service. AVOID. On the 23rd of December I was hoping to collect two flower arrangements for my grandmother and aunty before flying away the USA Christmas. After being looked at up and down I was told to try Tesco’s!!! I will NEVER be returning. The owner of this shop is a judgmental woman who clearly has an issue with young women coming into her shop with tattoos. RUDE. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

As I live in a Ireland I was unsure of which florist to pick so I'm delighted I chose Covent Garden and will do so for all future orders.

Fantastic experience: My husband, John sadly passed away in June this year and we chose Covent Garden Flowers to provide all the floral tributes from the immediate family.( our wedding flowers were from the same shop,then known as Eric Roberts, back in 1972 so felt it was fitting!) We were so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and considerate. All the floral arrangements were gorgeous and long lasting…which was amazing because Johns funeral was in July on probably the hottest day of the year! I strongly recommend Covent Garden and the staff for quality and great service.

O another order of red roses, the bouquet was absolutely stunning and we are ten days into having them and they are still beautiful - the store bought roses someone else bought paled in comparison and have since had to be thrown away as they wilted quickly. Stunning flowers, helpful staff and excellent delivery. Couldn't recommend more.

Negative experience: Before I placed an order with this company I had called to ask whether the flowers I wanted would be able to be handheld, and I was assured by a member of staff that it would be. To my surprise when it arrived… it wasn’t! I called to let them know of the situation and see if I could get some sort of a refund as the flowers weren’t able to serve the purpose of what I needed them for (A HANDHELD BOUQUET.), and the lady I spoke to on the phone was being very rude and dismissive, telling me that if I wanted a handheld bouquet then I should’ve called after I placed the order because they have “over 700 orders being placed and they can’t give me all of the information”??? I literally called BEFORE I placed the order and wasn’t told any of this, so I don’t know why they were talking to me as if that was common knowledge. After us going back and forth she told me they wouldn’t be able to give me a refund as the florist fulfilled their end of the request…. Clearly they didn’t otherwise I wouldn’t have called to complain lol. And to top it off they left my delivery behind a bin so they flowers were damaged upon delivery! After sending photographic evidence of the damage they offered me a £10 refund (which wasn’t even a quarter of what I paid for the flowers). Overall, this florist clearly does not care about Anything other than taking your money, and the customer service team will make it feel like it’s your fault that your order didn’t meet your expectations. Would not recommend

Negative experience: Do not use this florist unless you are buying directly from the shop and can see the flowers before you buy. I live in Dublin and sent flowers to my cousin in Cardiff to send her a get well message after she had a surgery. The flowers arrived and she is very disappointed with them. She says they look dead. I especially asked the florist to use fresh flowers in the arrangement. I am so upset that my cousin is disappointed with her flowers. We have both tried ringing the florist to complain but the phone just goes unanswered. I will not be using this florist again and would not recommend them. I would like my money back but as I can't get through to them I don't suppose I will! My cousin received a new arrangement of flowers when the florist reopened on the 4th January. The flowers were much better. It's a pity they weren't right the first time but thank you for dealing with my complaint.

(I live in Staffordshire) The care over delivery and delivery details was second to none. You can see how beautiful the flowers are in this photo but I’ve been told that the picture does not do them justice! Needless to say the recipient was delighted. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Flowers were lovely. I asked them to be sent to my college as a leavers present for my teachers and colleagues. I had no confirmation that they had been delivered by Covent Garden or my College. I called convent garden asking them to explore why. I received notification from my college that they had received them, seconds after I had got off the phone to Convent Garden. I called back Convent Garden to stop them chasing up the driver as the items had been delivered. The lady then demanded I apologise to her colleague for the way I spoke to her? Why didn’t her colleague express her disdain when she made the decision to chase up the delivery man for me? I spoke with respect I would expect from anyone and I am quite disappointed to have been spoken to this way. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

She really guided me, incorporating all my colours (pale pink and blue) and listened to the style I was going for. All the flowers were delicate and beautiful.
