Fantastic experience: Very straightforward process. Ordered online and 2 days later went to pick up. Follower was package nicely and they can add a personalised note for you. They have different price range if you're on a budget and they can deliver. 100% would recommend and I will be using them again.

The staff was very rude and made me feel unwelcome specially the galsses girl.Simple questions were met with attitude instead of help. A flower shop should offer warmth and kindness, but this place completely missed the mark. I won’t be coming back.

I had to get last minute flowers on 27th September and they were able to make me two beautiful bouquets of just roses as I needed just any flowers. They were very quick and the bouquets looked beautiful. Would highly recommend this flower shop.

I requested red roses with a large, full look—and the final result was even more beautiful and voluminous than I expected. Negative experience: I went In this morning and asked to have some flowers packed . The flowers were not bought from flower works but I wanted just a transparent foil without the logo or business name of flower works as I understand it might be risky for the business to pack flowers that are not purchased from them. They didn’t even sell me the foil or anything . It doesn’t make any sense , I pay so I should be served .

Fantastic experience: What an amazing level of service I received today literally minutes before they were closing. I really needed a bunch of flowers today and it looked like a non starter. But the lady working immediately stepped up and wouldn’t let me leave until I was sorted. She even said to me ‘I’m going to sort this for you’ and true to her word I left with a beautiful bunch of roses. Thank you so much

Negative experience: For the price, the flower qualities are very very bad. Not even a week in and the flowers are already dead. This is the second time this happened, won't go again.

Negative experience: I recently visited this flower shop and had a very disappointing experience. The two girls working at the counter today were of no help at all. Despite there being no other customers, they seemed more interested in watching a screen than assisting me. When I finally got their attention, their responses were curt and uninformative. I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Customer service is crucial in any business, and unfortunately, it was severely lacking here. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really helpful and friendly, go the extra mile to make sure you’re getting the best set of flowers wrapped in an impressive style with each stem having its own water vile. I bought some stunning Blue Roses, over the weekend (Sat) to be displayed in prayers and it was fair to say the quality caught every1’s eye…. It was just a shame store was closed on Sunday as I wanted more.

Fantastic experience: Ezra Ford I find this review a bit unnecessarily negative, as you say you’re a business owner, to say a florist is capitalising on Mother’s Day is the same as saying, your local barbers is capitalising on the fact that hair grows! If you want top flowers then you pay respectively, same as anything! Can guarantee the £45 bunch from m&s would be nowehere near as good as a little more expensive bunch from a local independent business.

Negative experience: Really charging £5 per Lilly all I was asking was for a bouquet of flowers and then start listing down prices not really being helpful just money grabbing is this what inflation is doing to businesses now turning them into Boris ffs… not helping quite rude tbh I would rather go and spend £45 in Mark’s & Spencer’s to be asked if we put lilies in for my Mother’s Day gift it’s “£4.50 to £5 absolute rip off trying to capitalise on Mother’s Day is disgusting hence the reason I will never buy from you again I run my own business and work with my clients and economy around me Leicester is a small place and my barber shop has a way bigger platform than your shop and I for one will let people know how you treat your customers!! Work with your customers they are your clients don’t be listing down your rip off prices because we can buy flowers elsewhere

Negative experience: I spotted Flowerworks prior to moving to Leicester and I thought it looked delectable. I'm a keen fan of plants and flowers and this shop looked as though it represented something I aligned with creatively. Walking up the lane and seeing this shop close to where I'd be living was something that seduced me, and informed part of my reason to want to live in the vicinity. Once relocated, I quickly followed on social media and was excited to order a bespoke bouquet for a very special and significant occasion. Everything this business purported suggested the high end bouquet I had in mind would be understood; a pleasure and not a chore. There was a particular flower for my bouquet that needing sourcing for reasons of highly significant and conceptual importance - so not an easy 'smash and grab' of 'normal' daily florist stock, but nothing out of the question either. It's stocked in the wholesalers down the road and its in season. Just something that needed a little extra effort to source and a florist with an aptitude to want to make something really unique. I was also ordering with a month long lead time to ensure it was thoughtfully planned and deliverable. I called up, discussed my request and was promised a call back a few days later. No call. I followed up a week later and after a little back and forth with a slightly awkward member of staff whilst I couldn't fathom why ordering flowers from a florist was a problem, the "boss" came on the phone. With a heavy dose of indifference and apathy, I was told they couldn't deliver on my request for a spectrum of reasons from remodelling of the shop, to Covid. I can fully understand circumstantial issues like these and also understood that to order a particular flower in for one bouquet needs to be ordered in quantities that negate the cost. No problem - because I was happy to source that particular flower myself without this penalty, provide it to the florist to incorporate into the bouquet which would otherwise include their provided stock. No request for discounts or favours on this, in fact, money wasn't a concern at all. I was fully invested in getting the right person for the job for this very special order. But no, it wasn't "what we do". I was desperately more invested in problem solving so I could give them my business (and money) so I too could experience a piece of the promise of what Flowerworks offers, than Flowerworks was accepting of my order. Are florists doing so well now so to work on a basis of elitism to have your order 'accepted'? Or are they just not bothered? Or are they just another mediocre florist who want their bread and butter from quick-buck, gerbera-filled, generically-pleasing internet assembled bouquets than deliver a personal touch? Because I couldn't feel less valued in that experience or more duped by the fact I bought into their illusion of creative credibility. There was no apology for the lack of response from my original call. There was no gesture or indication of regret they couldn't deliver on my request (whatever the reason), there was no warm encouragement to welcome me next time with an order - just negligent disdain. So much so, I now walk past their shop with a real sense of regret and utter disappointment which was once an experience of positive expectation and appreciation. I see the other people walking past doing the same and I see others online fawning over posts. I can't even bring myself to pick up a nice plant from their front of shop, or some every day seasonal stems for my kitchen table like I had hoped to do. I've just seen a nearby and lovely business bestow the joys of Flowerworks online and it reminded me how contradictory, awful and insensitive my experience was. To some, this review may look disproportionate - it's just flowers after all. But I care about these things and this was for something deeply personal. I'm not one to ever write negative reviews - quite the opposite - but I feel so slighted and offended that I feel this business ought to reflect on their practices and take some accountability.

Fantastic experience: Often drop by here when in the city centre, purely to have a nosy at the house plant selection, they always have something different compared to your local garden nurseries, and they’re always healthy and well taken care of! Last time I was here I spoke to the owner and it was so lovely to talk to her, it was great to talk to someone so experienced and passionate about what she does. They’re also in the process of extending the shop, so I can’t wait to come back when it’s all complete!

Fantastic experience: Flowerworks prepared the flowers for my Aunt’s funeral. What they delivered was truly stunning and brought joy to a very sad and difficult day for my family. Not living in Leicester I had to take a gamble when choosing a florist. I looked at many websites and called the florists that appealed. Flowerworks, stood out a country mile with their response and service. Chloe who looks after the funeral flowers was incredibly kind and guided me with knowledge and skill to choose what I needed. What arrived today for the funeral were far beyond my expectations. The display for the top of the coffin, white lilies, white roses and irises were exquisite and the spring flower wreath was beautiful and with a wide range of different flowers in the most glorious colours. Two sprays made for other family members who followed my lead and used Flowerworks were equally as beautiful. I’m used to London prices for flowers so was delighted by the value for money at Flowerworks. I cannot recommend Flowerworks more highly.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a bouquet online for my sister's birthday - we were supposed to meet up in Scotland for the occasion but it wasn't possible. I picked the Florist Choice and they were wonderful. Such a gorgeous arrangement. My sister loved them and said "there is such a variety of flowers, I'm going to rotate the vase every day to appreciate them". I had asked to include something vaguely Scottish if possible (!) and there were three beautiful purple soft thistles amongst the display. Superb service and attention to detail. Very good price too. Fantastic experience: I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after the brilliant experience I had in Flowerworks earlier this week. The staff in there could not have been more helpful. I wanted a bouquet for my Mum but know nothing about flowers. The girl who served me took the time to ask questions about my Mum and what sort of things she liked. The end product was beautiful and I couldn't believe how good the value for money was. As someone who used to buy flowers from supermarkets, I'll never waste my money on these again. First time buying anything from Flowerworks but definitely won't be the last!
