Hello Mikey, I am very sorry your bouquet wasn’t as you were expecting. If you had emailed me and sent me pictures I would have been happy to assist you. I can guarantee all flowers are fresh as we get through two deliveries minimum a week but if you let me know which flowers have wilted I can pass the information on to the supplier. Thank you

Hello Helen, I am sorry you were not happy with the bouquet that you received. Interflora leave a time of up to 6 pm for us to deliver and with it being our busiest time of year we can not give special times for deliveries. I have had a look at your order and the bouquet that was purchased was for £49 and it had all the flowers in it that Interflora advertised for that bouquet, I would also suggest to leave the string on when placing them in your own vase as cutting the string off displaces the arrangement that the florist has made.

Hello Tom, I am sorry you have been left disappointed and that you felt you had to leave a review and also the picture added has been taken from an obscure angle which is not representing what the bouquet looks like if it were to be given to the recipient. As I was explaining, as you have ordered through Interflora and not directly through the shop, the pricing structure is different, you did however still get 12 premium valentines red roses with foliage and all the Interflora branding (which also costs more money) we are strictly advised from Interflora that we are not allowed to add or take out any flowers or greenery to their bouquets as it defaults their pricing and as you have paid them and not the shop it does work differently I am afraid. All valentines roses ordered through the shop get extra foliage because I don’t have to pay extra commission on my own bouquets whereas I do with Interflora. I am sorry you were not happy with our customer service, as you have ordered through a third party the money goes directly to them therefore it falls on Interflora to tend to the complaints about the extra foliage as we are not permitted to use their exact recipe of their pictures which is stated on their website.

I have read your comments regarding the flowers you collected from us.

The bouquet that was made for you was, in my opinion, pretty and rustic as you had requested. It had Snapdragons, Spray Roses and Lissianthus amongst them and like you say Carnations, which were a new variety and we thought fit in with the rustic feel you requested. Obviously flowers are subjective and we would happily have changed anything you didn’t like, if only you had said.
As for the longevity, we have daily deliveries so I can assure you they were fresh.

You are right costs have soured, like everything else at the moment, and many flower growers are struggling and even going bust which I am sure you will agree is very sad. This only makes us work harder to maintain our small business as we know times are hard.

As for staff being rude, I am shocked at this because the lady serving you is the most pleasant person I know. As you can see from our reviews we pride ourselves on exemplary service. She was only trying to help you.

What I am really struggling to understand though is why, having said your heart dropped, did you pay for your flowers and leave with them without saying a word. We would happily have changed them for you and never want anyone to leave disappointed.

Obviously, you have now voiced your opinion on social media but I just wish you had given us the opportunity to put things right for you.

Hello Maggie, I am really perplexed at your comments. As I don't know how your flowers were ordered, your name or your partners name, I can not look back at my orders to see what you received. I have however looked at all my deliveries and as you are not on them I can only assume your partner chose and collected the flowers from our shop.
Flowers are obviously subjective but I have never, in all my time as a florist, had our flowers described as ugly. With regard to looking like any photo's on our site, having been through one of the most testing times ever and seen flower growers go under, we have stated on our website that flower substitutions may have to be made where necessary.
We are in an industry that strives to make our customers smile but out of the hundreds of bouquets we create each week clearly on this occasion we have failed. If you had come direct to us with the issue we would most definitely had done everything in our power to put things right, as a small business this is very important to us. We would have made something for you with flowers you preferred.
That opportunity has clearly passed and I apologise for your disappointment. Take care Alison.

As you can see from our reviews our customer service is exemplary and due to the fact the order was not placed directly with our shop I gave your husband all the information he needed and referred him back to Interflora where he placed his order. He thanked me for my polite response and assistance.

We work very hard as a small business to make customers happy with our products and as a
result very rarely receive complaints but unfortunately on this occasion it seems we have not met your expectations.

I do recall your visit to my shop on Saturday; You spent a few minutes looking in at the display window and I came out of the shop to ask if you needed any help as you looked like you were unclear on what to do. You said that you wanted to purchase flowers there and then and I had to explain that all businesses classed as non-essential are not able to sell to customers that present at the door. However, we were able to work behind closed doors to make up arrangements that can be delivered to an address or as a ‘click & collect’ at an agreed time.

I am sorry you felt you had to leave us a 2 star review. The intention was to be informative rather than patronising; maybe I was a little surprised that after almost 12 months in lockdown I still find myself explaining the rules set out by government. The past year has been tough for everyone including those that have a small business and it is regretful that you feel a 2 star review is justified in this case.
