Beach for my sister's birthday and as we traveled my daughter selected this florist that could deliver flowers virtually at the last minute before our arrival...DJ made a beautiful orchid arrangement she really loved...this made her birthday most special...thank you DJ

Fantastic experience: The ask was impossible. I said “Can you match the funky/weird vibe of my Scandinavian folklore wallpaper?” They didn’t hesitate! 15 minutes later, I left with a perfectly funky centerpiece. Happy Birthday to my wife!

Positive experience: I ordered the puppy package (roses, stuffed puppy, and chocolate) for Valentine’s Day. The delivery was set to go to my partner’s workplace. However, only the flowers were delivered and not the other two items. They were delivered the next day but it definitely put a damper on the occasion as this was our first valentines together.

Fantastic experience: Came to this florist on Valentine’s Day to get my stepmom a bouquet. Even though they were extremely busy, a young lady working there was a huge help. I believe her name was Christine. My stepmom’s favorite color is purple, so we told her our budget and that we wanted a purple bouquet, and she absolutely made it happen. It was beautiful, and my stepmom loved it. I forgot to take a picture, but I definitely recommend this place for your flower and plant needs. I also found a beautiful prayer plant for my mother-in-law while I was there. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Beautiful flowers and they work with you to make everything happen. I did have to take 1 star as some of the flower stems where loose and fell out but the flowers themselves were nice and they were able to get flowers that wasn't in season.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about how beautiful my arrangements came out. I ordered 2 sympathy arrangements for my uncle’s funeral who spent 47 years in the military. I saw a few pictures on their website that I liked but called to ask if I could customize them to red, white and blue. We spoke of specific flowers and the colors of each. Not only were the arrangements exactly what I envisioned, but the attention to details exceeded my expectations. Both arrangements were by far the most beautiful of all arrangements sent to the funeral home. For reference, I ordered the River Cane Cross (simply stunning!!!!) and the True Horizon urn. I highly recommend Virginia Beach Florist and would not hesitate to use them again.

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to write this review for a while now... I had to buy some ti leaves last minute for a special lei that I had to make and the owner came through for me and supplied me with what I needed. He also gave me some purple orchids for my lei making. This is the second time that they were able to get what I needed in such a short time frame. The first time I was able to purchase beautiful birds of paradise from them. I appreciate deeply the nice, customer service they gave me and took care of my needs, as these two events were very meaningful to me. Their friendly and great customer service truly shows that they love what they do and want to help their customers! Fantastic experience: I was out of town and unable to order flowers until Sunday. I placed the order online at 8 am and they were delivered by noon. My aunt called to say they were beautiful. My only disappointment was that the florist did not send me a picture with the email saying they had been delivered, but since my aunt was so excited by how nice the flowers were, I will not take off for that. All other florist I’ve been using have been sending pictures.

Fantastic experience: As a first time walk in customers this place blew me away off the jump just from the feel of being in what I would call a full scale florist. Then upon being greeted by the nicest gentleman who's name was DJ and was very knowledgeable and courteous and every question I had he educated me and told me all the care for the plant I selected. I went in with plans of just checking it out but I left with 2 new plants and a small arrangement of flowers for the house. Fantastic experience: VA Beach Florist created the floral displays for my Mother's Funeral service. I didn't want the cookie cutter designs that are offered in their catalog. I provided them ideas I wanted for the casket topper, sprays and wreath along with the flowers to be used. Upon visiting my Mother and seeing the displays I was overwhelmed with how beautiful the arrangements were and how what I envisioned was created. My Mother loved flowers and I wanted to "send" her off with a garden full of her favorites. Everyone at the service commented at how beautiful the arrangements were. DJ and the other floral designers are exceptional designers and I would definitely recommend them for any celebratory event you are having.

Fantastic experience: We came here to get a bouquet for my mother in law (since tomorrow is Mother’s Day). They have a beautiful store, where you can get a pre-wrapped bouquet or arrangement. We picked a pre-wrapped bouquet to start, which was $35 — that is an amazing price for quality flowers, in case anyone isn’t aware. If you’re so inclined, you can go into the cooler and essentially design your own bouquet. The employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. They wrapped the extra blooms I picked to put into the bouquet with great care. I really enjoyed coming here because I like arranging my own flowers. If that isn’t your thing, though, they also have several people available to design an arrangement for you. My husband likes to get me fresh flowers regularly, and this place just became our go-to spot to pick them out together.

I called them after noon to get everything sorted out and they got it delivered less than an hour later! Photo of actual bouquet is cropped but you get the gist…GORGEOUS!!

Negative experience: Do not order from here. Terrible value. This is what I got for $175 plus a 15$ delivery fee. These are funeral flowers. They said it was the best they could do because they were very busy. It was right before Easter 2024.
