Fairfield Flowers

Negative experience: I ordered white roses and purple hydranias with purple and blue filler only 2 types of filler. I called Thursday before the scheduled delivery to my church at noon on Sat. I spoke to a young lady and told her I did not want the hydrania and she said they would replace them with more roses . I told her I wanted simple elegance in the arrangement, just the white roses and a little purple/blue fillers. When I arrived at the church what I saw was three (3) roses and a little purple and alot of mess that looked like a bunch of weeds were put into the arrangement. I bought the two glass vases and got the exact opposite of what I ordered. When I arrived at the location to place the order, the lady showed me a beautiful arrangement in a catalog which showed white roses and a little purple filler. That is what I wanted. What I got was three (3) roses in each vase with a bunch of mess. I was so embaressed. Someone sent my mother a vase arrangement that I am grateful for. It thankfully had white roses in it. I took the roses from that arrangement and began to remove from the one they delivered from Fairfield florist all of the awful grass, leaves, weeds, and several varieties of filler little flowers (pink, white), fern leaves, and things I didn;t even know recognise, out of one of the vases and made the arrangement look more like my mother would like. I wanted to call them right away but did not want to get upset prior to my mothers celebration of life service. I am so disappointed with the communication and how these arrangements were done. It was like they were thrown together and rushed, it a apparrent they ran out of roses. I paid close to $200 for six roses and a bunch of filler mess.

Fantastic experience: Just grabbed a rose last minute and was helped by the nicest person I've met in a long time 'Leslie', super friendly and just great all around. On top of that the price was way awesome and on valentines day most places take advantage of the day and gouge you, when she told me total i mentioned how fair priced it was and joked that they put the 'fair' in Fairfield flowers. Great place and have been going there off and on for years and every time it is a very good experience and they help those of us not experienced in flower shopping (guys). Fantastic experience: I've been using Fairfield Flowers off and on for about 20 years. I strayed to the big brands for a bit, but they often substituted box flowers or missed deliveries. At Fairfield I always get fresh, local flowers delivered when I need them. Prices are fair, quality and service are great.

Positive experience: Arrived on a Sunday (1:23pm) during posted business hours (10-2)and the shop was closed. No note on the door and no update online. It was disappointing, especially since from the store front their work looked pretty decent. Maybe during my next visit I can raise my three stars to a five stars review.

Positive experience: Seen reviews and thought i wanna see for myself I stopped in on the way to hospital to pick up my new grand baby and she threw together me a beautiful arrangement while I waited. Thank you so much Goes to show you you can't believe everyone. And they even carried to my car since I was injured

Fantastic experience: I was in Virginia Beach for my qualifying exams and wanted something bright in my hotel room to soothe my nerves before and after each test. Lilies are my favorite, but Kroger didn’t have any, so I thought I’d see if there was a florist nearby—turns out Fairfield Flowers was right across the street. I walked in, was warmly greeted, and told the florist I was about to take a test that would determine the course of my entire future. She nodded and said, “What’s your favorite color?” I walked out with an absolutely gorgeous bouquet that sustained me through all 16 hours of my tests, survived the flight back home, and flourished for almost two full weeks—though they probably would have lasted longer because lily buds were still blooming for almost a week after I turned the bouquet over to dry. Thank you so much for giving me that anchor of joy—I’ll never forget it! (Ps. I passed all my tests )

Fantastic experience: Stopped in to order two corsages for next day pick up. They asked questions about the girls dresses and personality to help customize their flowers. They made recommendations and even walked me into the coolers to look at everything. Absolutely amazing- best experience of any flower shop. Will be back for every dance!

Negative experience: Disappointed with Fairfield flowers! I ordered my usual Christmas holiday arrangement for a family member. Of course it was expensive! When I saw the pictures of it, I was shocked and angry. It was a miniature version of a different arrangement than I had requested. I will never use this florist again.

Fantastic experience: I stopped at Kroger, located at 3901 Holland Rd, to purchase a boutonnière. Natalie noted they needed a 24-hour notice but referred me to Fairfield Flowers. She knew the owner and noted she would give me a good deal. I needed the boutonnière for a wake, after learning the family was wearing yellow, I wanted to support. Dawn, the designer, was gracious, friendly, and professional. I was pleased! First time customer!

Negative experience: This was my first and absolute last time dealing with Fairfield Flowers. I ordered flowers from them to be picked up on my family members birthday. I went to pick up the flowers and the ones I were given were not anything like the pictures that I had used to purchase this flower arrangement. I showed the picture of the flowers that I ordered from THEIR website, and was told “most of those flowers are out of season and you should have known that since you ordered them.” At this point the owner was already aware of my issue and began yelling from her back cubical and said “leave the flowers we’ll call when they’re fixed”. NINE DAYS later I get a call that the flowers are ready and they still do not even slightly resemble the image from their website. Save your money and go to a reputable and honest local business. Fantastic experience: A few months ago my aunt passed away and i needed a special arrangement. Amber was delicate in helping me pick and i choose a heart standing spray. James put it together better than i could have imagined. It included a green cancer ribbon to help me bring awaremess for liver cancer. My heart was overjoyed w the arrangement. My aunt was most special to me and the heart represented it well. Thanks team at fairfield.

Negative experience: The only thing that went wrong on my perfect wedding day was the flowers from Fairfield flowers!! I had originally chose them because they were a preferred vendor to my venue and I had seen pictures of their work. Charlene, the owner reassured me that everything would be done just like we had asked. I told her I did not want greenery but I loved baby’s breath and wanted pink and white roses. Simple we all thought until the week of my wedding when they called me to go over some details. They told me they would email me a picture of what they have been working on so I could see what things were looking like. I called the next day when I did not receive a picture and they told me they were going to send it again, never did I receive a picture. The day of my wedding came and I cried when all I could see was carnations and greenery with a couple of roses here and there, they had already left without getting my approval of my flowers. My maid of honor called them because of how distraught I was after the thousands of dollars I had paid and the shock of what I had received. The manager told her roses were so expensive they did what they could. The owner ended up calling me and telling me they would be up there to add baby’s breath however my guests had already started arriving. The baby’s breath helped make my flowers look a little more like I had envisioned so I was able to get through my wedding day however, the lack of communication and sympathy was horrible!! I would never recommend this florist to anyone. They take your money and do what they want after that. Worst experience ever! I will share my inspiration pic that I sent them at least 3 times. vs what I received. I’m sure you can guess which one is the one I got…

Fantastic experience: The spray that Fairfield Flowers created for my Mother's service was the most gorgeous, beautiful casket cover I have ever seen. So many people who attended her service said the same thing. THANK YOU so much for such a fitting tribute to my Mom. 5 Stars to Fairfield.

Positive experience: Fairfield Flowers provided the flowers for my wedding a week ago and WOW! I met with the florist a year ago and then we met again a month before the wedding. The flowers were so perfect. They were everything I could have ever asked for! I worked with two people to help me make my flower vision come true and it did! The only issues I had were that I was the one who needed to remember to make my final payment on time. The shop did not send out any reminders and one box of flowers were not with the rest of the flowers, so they were left behind and we had to go back there to get them. Other than that, the flower arrangements were perfect!

Fantastic experience: I went to a Floral Easter centerpiece class this weekend at Fairfield Florist. It was so much fun and so informative. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Fantastic experience: Ordered this arrangement for my wife for Valentine's Day. Red roses, red carnations and day lilies with a wreath made from Bells of Ireland. Negative experience: I hate to be the person who leaves a bad review, but they messed up my wedding bouquet. They put a certain type of flower in my bouquet I did not ask for and did not like. There were several miscommunications. They would call to summarize my order and have things wrong, I corrected it for them several times. I tried to be patient and understanding. There were also fake leaves in my MIL’s corsage. I have had and seen way better corsages with all real flowers. I’m not sure what’s going on with this shop, but they are very unorganized.

Positive experience: paid over $200 for white roses in advance, showed up to pick them up, they were yellow. the staff swapped the yellow roses with white. the arrangement looked like something from harris teeter for $60. not what $200+ should buy very unimpressed

Negative experience: We had a wedding in July. I scheduled two consultations. Going over all the details. When we got the final product it did not match what we had talked about. The color was fine, but the flowers and what was supposed to be the theme did not match. I gave theme a 2 star because the service was decent. But for the overall product I was not pleased with. I will not be using them for a big event again.

Fantastic experience: I went into Fairfield Flowers today for the first time and I was immediately pleased. Not only is it a flower shop there are also gifts to buy for family, friend and co-workers. The ambiance of the store was so peaceful and happy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were decent and selection of items was good. I bought a beautiful beach themed vase and a reusable shopper bag. Mrs. Sarah placed my items in a pink bag and added matching tissue paper. I absolutely love my purchase. I will definitely go back to this establishment again for future purchases. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Fairfield Flowers is a great place to get beautiful bouquets and cool gifts! I pick up flowers every other week for work there and have been doing this for the past 3 years. My office used to get them before I worked there, so I don't know for how long. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful little shop. Even if you don't think you need flowers, go there to check out the seasonal gifty things. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Me and my fiance arrived at the shop to look around and we were greeted but a gentleman was ahead of us no problem at all, until a lady (the employee) came from the back area and asked who was next so we said us and she proceeded to ask how she can help and i asked about their bouquets and she told us we need to schedule and appt for that but she said it in a way that we were inconveniencing her so i said okay can we schedule an appt then and i was telling her all i need is just a small bouquet or a bundle of flowers nothing big because we have a dinner we’re going to after and it was about 2 weeks out from my wedding date. Well once i told her that her face completely changed and she had an attitude and told us they need to know about this a couple months out because that gives them no time to get anything together so i was like okay then we will just go somewhere else and she was like well hold on let me check something and walks to the back (Still with an attitude) at this point we were getting upset and weren't sure if we should even do business here. so she comes back and is asking us what all we need and i said (like i told her before) all i need is a bouquet or atleast a small bundle of flowers and she said oh that’s all? and i said yes that was all i needed and she said she thought i needed a whole thing including decor, a thing for the groom, and a bouquet. (this tells me she wasn’t even listening to what i asked for) so she wanted me to make the appt and i did but after that horrible experience me and my fiance spoke in the car and went elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I called extremely last minute hoping to find flowers for my courthouse wedding the next day. I mean really last minute, I think 2 hours before they closed. Charlene was so so sweet and excited to help make it work. She got a bouquet together for myself, a boutonnière for my husband, and a corsage for my mom. I let her have free rein, just requested some whites and some color. When we showed up we were absolutely in love. She did such an amazing job and was so helpful. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Fairfield flowers for their perfect addition to our wedding. Coming into this I had a vision of only greenery bouquets and instead of boutonnieres, pocket greenery squares. With these visions, I drew up some pretty bad drawings, but they took these drawings and made them come to life and even better. We had read online that they did 10% for active duty, which my husband is in the USCG, and after adding in the discount, they added in two wristlets that we had gotten for our flower girls who were our grandmothers since it was the difference of the discount. They also were able to change the delivery time at last minute which was greatly appreciated. We also appreciated knowing all the costs up front during our first meeting. They also did two checkups with me just to ensure everything is exaclty how I envisioned which made me more at ease with a “not so normal” wedding bouquet. Thank you Fairfield!! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this florist. We live out of state and had ordered flowers for my mother-in-law, a week in advance, from an online florist. We were notified on Mother's Day that they weren't going to make it. Frantic to get her something for this special day, we called Fairfield Flowers, and they said they would be able to do it. My mother-in-law said the bouquet was gorgeous. We will DEFINITELY use them in the future.

Fantastic experience: They have earned their top 10 spot! We used them for my son's wedding and they were the absolute best to work with! We had a budget and she recommended ways in which we could cut cost without cutting the overall look and feel we were looking for. The owner Charlene and their design team, Leslie and Val made the vision come to life. I very rarely give reviews, but I 100% recommend this florist for your floral arrangement needs. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Booked a private flower arranging class here as a Mother's Day gift- amazing class, great experience, and helpful staff. Prior to our appointment, not only did they deliver a rose to my mom with a card to let her know about the class but they called me to ask about my mothers favorite flowers and incorporated these into the arrangement! We were there for a little over an hour but would have been given as much time as we needed, there was no rush. Leslie was super helpful and talked to us about the principles of arranging the entire time, which was neat! We will be going back for another special occasion. Overall for the price we got an hour of instruction and two arrangements- definitely worth it!! Thanks for the experience!

Fantastic experience: Choosing a florist was one of the more nerve racking things I had to do for our wedding. I do not know anything about flowers except for the fact that they are pretty. I went to Fairfield Flowers and the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. The lady I worked with sat down at the table with me and looked at my inspiration pictures as well as showed me images of flowers in her own book. I felt much more reassured by the time I left after we discussed looks, size, and cost. Fairfield Flowers was very affordable and extremely easy to work with. I knew if I had any questions, I could easily reach them over the phone or through email. Fairfield flowers packed my bouquets, arch flowers, and boutonnières extremely well. I had a family member pick them up for me. Everything was ready on time and they helped to load everything into the car. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!! The bouquet sizes were perfect and everything was made with top notch quality. The flowers smelled amazing and lasted for another week even after the wedding. I also dried and pressed a few of the flowers/greenery to keep as a wedding keepsake!

From the first meeting with Leslie until the day of the wedding, they were professional and accommodated our every wish within our budget. Fantastic experience: Fairfield Flowers is truely the Nordstrom of flower arrangements, all aspects of funeral flowers, amazing gifts, and the customer service is phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: Update 4/18/2023: The owner of Fairfield reached out to me to explain a little better what was going on during the timeframe I was working with them as a vendor. There was a turnover in coordinators, so it's understandable that there may have been some communication errors during that time. Thankfully, they were really open to feedback regarding my experience working with them and that's something I appreciate in a business. Still recommend them if you're looking for a florist! ------ We chose Fairfield Flowers as the florist for our wedding. I initially met with them in-person prepared with inspiration photos since I didn't really know much about flowers, only what I liked, and they were confident they could make this happen. They were also very helpful with figuring out where it was possible to cut down on costs (reusing aisle decor as table decor for reception, reusing bouquets for the sweetheart table, reusing extra flowers for dessert/entrance table). I also asked for pretty basic colors, mostly white and a few light pink pieces with eucalyptus/silver dollars and greenery. Coming closer to the wedding some of my choices actually changed and they were accommodating for this adjusting prices and numbers of each item. The day of, they brought the flowers to my venue in the morning as I paid for delivery and set up, so I'm glad they had this option. The type of flowers they chose were in line with my inspo pics, fluffy, and beautiful. These were all the good things that worked out with this florist. Some hiccups: 1) Throughout the months leading up to the wedding they had reached back out to me not once, but a few times asking me to resend them my inspo pics for reference. Each time they asked for me to resend it I lost a little more confidence in them as I felt they were lacking organization and professionalism. 2) Within our email threads (and the reference document I sent them) I explicitly explained what I did NOT want within the florals and the day of a few of the main pieces included greenery that I didn't want. I did not want any "tropical" looking greenery and I said specifically no palm fronds, and there were palm fronds in my arch florals. Thankfully my day of coordinator was able to take these down and remove the palms, so they don't show in the photos. 3) Some of the flowers in my bridal bouquet were broken and hanging at odd angles. Not sure if this was an accident during delivery or when the flowers were being handled the day off, but I did my best to hide the broken flowers. 4) On another communication note, I had to call them the day of my wedding to figure out when they were coming since they hadn't arrived by 10/11AM when I expected them. They didn't give me an official arrival time, just "the morning of", so I reached out to them to see when they would arrive and over the phone they told me "oh, we were just about to call you and ask when's a good time" since I said now is a good time, they decided to head over to our venue. That exchange just felt a little unprofessional. Altogether, it wasn't a terrible experience, only the few hiccups along the way and the day of didn't entirely leave me with confidence. They were a very good price though so if you're trying to budget on florals like me, then they're worth it!

Fantastic experience: After a different florist didn't work out, we chose Fairfield Flowers to make the arrangements for our wedding. They were gorgeous! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am not a customer yet, but will definitely be in the future. I'm writing to compliment Leslie Leisare, a floral designer with Fairfield Flowers. She did a presentation for our garden club this week. I was so impressed with her presentation. Unlike a lot of the members of our club, I am clueless about flower arranging. Leslie was fantastic. She gave us so much information. I actually came away thinking I can do this. She gave us step by step instructions to make our holiday arrangements. Lots of info about products she uses at the business and created a beautiful arrangement that was raffled off. Unfortunately, I didn't win. I would recommend this business just based on her presentation.

Negative experience: I had high hopes and unfortunately was let down. We had to do extra work to edit the pictures in my wedding photos. I was planning on preserving my flowers but that’s not a option due to me receiving welted flowers upon arrival. It’s very unfortunate.

Fantastic experience: I have bought flowers here on a few occasions and have always been pleased! The employees are professional, courteous, and very friendly. I purchased 2 dozen roses and an Italian vase for my wife's birthday and she was soooo happy with the arrangement! Thank you for helping me make her day special!

Negative experience: I ordered flowers for my mother’s 76th birthday from Fairfield Florist. They arrived as requested on Saturday, October 15th. Because of the many great reviews, I expected a beautiful bouquet (I spent $100.00). The flowers arrived and some were already wilted. The arrangement is lopsided and they inserted a football gnome in the arrangement. I assume this is because of the lack of flowers. I called yesterday to speak to the manager. I don’t want a refund; I wanted to send a supplement arrangement to my mom. As of toaday at 3:48, no response. Disappointed to say the least

Fantastic experience: Amazing Floral Creations! We hired Charlene and her team from Fairfield Flowers for my daughter's wedding. Charlene and her team have superior floral design ideas. They were friendly and communicative during the entire wedding process. The grounded floral arch, table centerpieces, bride and bridesmaid bouquets etc. were absolutely gorgeous! Flowers and Service were exceptional! Highly recommend Fairfield Flowers!

Fantastic experience: Over 30 years it started with a single rose from Fairfield Flowers. A single rose my soon to be husband would leave for me find on the windshield of my car when I got off work. Then came our wedding flowers and dozens of anniversary roses. We would never think of going anywhere else for our floral needs They are truly the best of the best.

Fantastic experience: I am 64 yrs old and never had a Florist this good! Charlene is super wonderful! On a last minute birthday for my 7 yr old grandson, she delivered within 2 yours a huge basket full of toys, plush animals and candy and 2 stick balloons! My baby loved it all so much!! I will not use any one else as my Florist!! Thank you Charlene. You made it happen!

Negative experience: I'm sad to say my experience here for my wedding was NOT quality. The first meeting we had with them was good, and we booked them with great faith and excitement. A few months later, I received a phone call asking questions about my wedding flowers. It turns out that the woman who used to be in charge of weddings had left, and my wedding had been turned over to someone else. As a business owner myself, I totally understand that things like this happen and can sometimes cause confusion. I was patient and answered all of their questions. But unfortunately, things went downhill from there. They called me again about 3 months before my wedding to ask the same questions AGAIN - as if there were no notes taken during the first or second meetings. I was a bit frustrated, but then they announced that they had a meeting with me on the calendar for the next day and they were looking forward to getting everything ironed out then. I had never requested or scheduled a meeting, and I told them so. They seemed flustered and frustrated that I was "cancelling" the meeting. Then, they sent me an email following up from our phone call with an invoice for the wedding. The information was disturbingly incorrect - including an INCORRECT WEDDING DATE. At this point, I was very irritated. I had given hours of my time to correcting them, and they still couldn't get it together. So this time I DID request a meeting. My mom and I met with the owner, and she corrected everything and assured us everything would go perfectly. She promised that she herself would deliver the flowers the day of the wedding and oversee set up. The wedding day came, and this is what really ruined Fairfield Flowers for me. The flowers looked fine, and they arrived on time. But they caused chaos and stress for me on my wedding day. Neither the owner nor the woman I had spoken to multiple times on the phone were there, and they had clearly not given good instructions. They told me the wrong number of bouquets had arrived, then corrected it once we all started panicking. Then, they asked me for the 5TH TIME what the flowers for the cake should look like. They had flowers and greenery available for the cake that did not match everything else and that I had not requested. I had to spend 3 full minutes describing what they were SUPPOSED to do on the cake yet again. Then, they had questions about the flowers for our arch. They interrupted my hair and makeup to ask me if I really wanted what I had initially requested, because they didn't like the look of it. I finally told them to do whatever they wanted and walked away. Even though the flowers themselves were lovely and it worked out, I will NEVER use this company again. There is no organization, promises are not kept, and they took up more time and energy of my wedding planning than the end result was worth. I wish I had more positive things to say, but I gave them every opportunity to fix their errors and we still had issues on the biggest day of my life.

Fantastic experience: Fairfield Flowers made the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for my wedding. Sam was so helpful. I knew of a couple flowers I wanted to use, and she was able to suggest some additional types of flowers that complimented my bouquet perfectly. I was so in love with my wedding bouquet. Everything was absolutely perfect and even better than I’d imagined. I will definitely recommend Fairfield Flowers to anyone who needs a florist in the future. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Ordered the Luxury One Dozen Red Roses Bundle for my girlfriend this morning at work, not only was I impressed with how well put together it was but also that my order was ready to be picked up by noon! Fantastic experience: Fairfield Flowers went above and beyond for our wedding day! We had a consult with them over a year in advanced and Charlene (the owner) was AMAZING at making sure we had the flowers we wanted and could stay within our budget. She had many suggestions for reusing bridesmaids bouquets for reception decor and even gifted us vases to carry out that vision. My bouquet was even bigger than I imagined and came out so beautiful. I was in love with it!! Fairfield Flowers was so helpful with communication regarding flower pick-up (they will deliver but we wanted to save money), payment, and flower ideas as my vision for my wedding was every changing. Thank you so much for being apart of our special day!

Negative experience: My son ordered a corsage and boutonnière for prom. When he went to pick up the order the day of prom it was not ready. They just told him to come back later. He missed his dinner reservations so he asked me to pick up his order. When I went back to the shop they had no explanation why the order was not ready earlier, other then the ticket was not printed. They told me they offered to make the boutonnière and corsage while he waited. They did no such thing. We were made to feel that any inconveniences we experienced bc of their mistake were our own fault. No apology. No compensation. No resolution. Telling someone that they could have rectified the mistake sooner after the fact is NOT an apology. It did not help that they continued to lie about offering my son a resolution. If the store feels this is a false review I will gladly take it down. Believe the bad reviews. $50 for the corsage (pedals cracked and brown) $25 boutonnière.

Fantastic experience: I ordered 2 different arrangements for Mother’s Day, one for my wife, and one for my mom. On delivery day, 2 of the same type of arrangements showed up, not the original 2 ordered. It was a simple mistake and the flowers were still beautiful and delivered on time so It was no big deal. I had informed them of the mistake and had asked for a refund for the difference between what was ordered and what was delivered. They responded promptly to my issue and corrected it over the phone by sending me a check for the difference. At that point I was still happy with the product and more importantly the resolution to the issue. To top things off they sent two small arrangements as free gifts to show appreciation for being a customer. 10/10 customer service and I will for sure still order my flowers from them in the future!

Fantastic experience: I searched the depths of google and Pinterest for a bouquet I liked and couldn’t find a single one. Then, I walked into Fairfield Flowers and within minutes of talking with them she had thrown together a perfect bouquet. Prices seemed a tad high for me for the bouquets but I think everything associated with weddings is overpriced. The boutonnières were very nice and the arch flowers were perfect. All flowers were fresh and well preserved. I paid $640 for 1 bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 boutonnières, and 2 arch flower pieces. Prices are in the website.

Negative experience: I went with this shop b/c they are local instead of using 1800 flowers since they outsource to any floral shop without your choice in the matter and after looking at their arrangements for sympathy bouquets vs other shops in the area I decided to purchase one with a cross on the vase. I was charged $80 + immediately (no problem) then called the next day to tell me that vase (my sole reason for this selection) was not in yet and offered another religious symbol for a $20 up charge. I don’t understand why I would be penalized because your website misrepresented what was available and I’d already PAID. She then offered me a disposable bow like for Christmas presents with a cross print on it in replacement for the same price. I feel as though places like these try to capitalize off of the situation sadly seeing that people are vulnerable during the grieving process by doing a bait & switch. Letting you pay for one thing but then trying to send you another cheaper version if you don’t want to pay for an up charge for another thing that you did not select. She made claims they were taking that bouquet down saying it should have not been on the site yet so I will follow up in a few days to see if that was a lie. Thanks for making a hard process harder Fairfield Florist. I will make sure to let my friends and other family members know to seek out somewhere else for better business practices in the future.

Negative experience: One of the women who works here was pretty dismissive when I walked in. I asked if they had black roses, which I understand are hard to find. She immediately says “No such thing, they paint them” .. I mean no need to state the obvious, pretty sure that’s a known fact. No need to have an attitude about it. Then she says they have darker roses that are still red so I ask her to see those and she says they don’t have them again in a dismissive tone. Why even bring them up if you don’t have them in stock? Then she tells the other woman to show me what they have and they were just regular red roses, so I politely said “no thank you” and she immediately seemed annoyed that I wasn’t going to make a purchase and says “well okay”. I want to add that the other woman who worked there was extremely sweet and polite, but the older woman had this demeanor about her that wasn’t welcoming. That’s not how you interact with customers and I hope the owner of the store addresses this, unless of course she’s the owner. I don’t usually go out of my way to post negative reviews but I felt compelled to in this situation.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place, I came in last minute trying to get an arrangement during my lunch. I was so impressed by the arrangement I was over come with emotion! I wish I knew her name, but she even helped me to my car and now they have a loyal customer!
