I am not from the area and I called several flower shops to get flowers for my 5yo's dance recital and graduation before I got through to Special Touch (the other flower shops I left voicemails with never even called back). When I called Special Touch, there was no automated menu to get lost in - you speak with a real human at a family-owned business. The whole process was so much more custom and personal. I spoke with Alfred and I let him know what my budget was and what the flowers were for: 2 very special, benchmark occasions for my most favorite nugget in the entire world. It felt like Alfred was just as excited about making my daughter's big day(s) as special as possible. The prices were incredible, the flower arrangements were nothing short of gorgeous, and he told me how to take care of them until it was time for the big moments. Dance recital: I gave her the first bouquet and she LOVED them. The flower arrangement and my daughter were the two most beautiful and breath-taking creations. Graduation: Alfred createn a little yellow dog to match my kid's favorite stuffy (golden retriever). The dog was made out of carnations and wearing a graduation hat! When I say my daughter SQUEALED! The pitch was deafening and her friends all gathered around to come see and pet the flower puppy. My daughter was BEAMING, lol. Special Touch Flowers has superior flower arrangements, best prices, and by far, the BEST customer service I've ever had. I will be returning for all my special occasions in the future. Fantastic experience: Special Touch in Raleigh did an outstanding job with the order I placed. I live in Virginia and saw their outstanding reviews online, so I decided to use them. I ordered the “Love You Beary Much” flower basket at 9:15am for a friend in the Labor/Delivery unit at a local hospital. I was unsure if they would be able to deliver same day, but they had the basket created and delivered to her room by 12:45pm (just 3.5 hours after placing the online order). I also added a special request for an addition to the basket, but wasn’t sure if they would honor the request, and they did. The online system was very quick and easy to navigate to place an order from my phone. I am very pleased with their attention to detail, quick service, and beautiful flowers! I would recommend Special Touch Flowers to anyone sending or purchasing flowers in the Raleigh area.

Negative experience: Flowers are great. Getting them delivered on time on the date they were supposed to be delivered is a zero. Had them delivered to a business that closed at 5:00pm for them to tell me they were backlogged with deliveries and they’re sorry. Unacceptable business model and practice. If you’re that busy, hire someone else part time. You have gotten your last $100.00 from me for your business.

I called in a frenzy after failing with another same day delivery company, on a SATURDAY, to get some flowers delivered for a very important person to me. He stayed around in the neighborhood until I could called him back. I was able to get the correct address and told him that they had to leave in a hour and he worked it out with one of his coworkers to get our flowers delivered before the person had to leave to go out of town. Even through this crazy Christmas season, this company was able to reroute the flowers in just a hour. During these times, you don't see this kind of dedication from company's. I'm so grateful!
