Fantastic experience: I go to Stein's every year to buy emerald palm leaves for my church for Palm Sunday.

Fantastic experience: I've had one walk in and placed two orders with this florist. End result has always been always great. Although one order appeared to have old roses but they happily replaced the bouquet with another one. They also were quite efficient on Valentines day despite being under lots of pressure.

Positive experience: I ordered a premium flower arrangement to be delivered to my home between 10-6pm. I did not get a call until almost 6 pm from the delivery driver that they were on the way and 20 minutes away. We had another obligation but had to wait on the flowers to arrive late. When they did arrive- you could have gotten a better value of about a 30 dollar arrangement at a grocery store. I took photos and messaged the business. I am giving them three stars because they did respond and replace the arrangement the next day, however, what I got the next day was not much better and certainly not worth the 90 dollars I paid plus 25 for delivery. I will not be shopping her again unfortunately. The first five photos below are from the first order - where you can see browned and damaged flowers, the last photo is the updated order (not that much better). The greens and filler used in both arrangements were browned and wilted. Would not recommend (especially if you are getting delivery).

Negative experience: I’ll give them zero stars. They Need customer service skills. The lady who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional. I ordered two bouquets. They didn’t look nothing like the picture. The flower was dead and poor quality. You better off buying from Supermarket flowers.

Negative experience: I called this florist on Monday, November 17, 2025, and ordered one bag of white rose petals and one pink. Later that same day, I updated the order to two bags of white petals—simple, clear, and explained when asked what I need them for that I needed for my mother’s burial on Wednesday the 19th. They had two full days to prepare. When I arrived on Wednesday, I was handed two bags of yellow rose petals. I took them because I didn’t have time to quibble. Upon inspection, I found they were wilted, discolored, and absolutely unusable. The staff knew exactly what these petals were for and still handed me old, dying flowers in the wrong color. It was careless at best and disrespectful at worst. I will never spend another dollar here, and I strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere. And honestly—if you’re a florist who can’t manage to source fresh white roses, or if you genuinely can’t tell the difference between white and yellow, it might be time to reconsider your profession.

Negative experience: The flowers are quite pricey for the quality offered. The bouquet designs look dated and lack creativity. Honestly, even the more premium options appear tacky and cheap, which makes the high prices hard to justify. Good enough to fulfill a last-minute order, but not worth it for anything special or memorable.

Fantastic experience: I think this place is one of the few original businesses left in Mayfair. Prices have skyrocketed due to inflation but the staff is really down to earth and do their best to accommodate everyone's budget without overselling

Negative experience: They confirmed my delivery day via email but did not deliver on the set day and I never received the order. They also did not communicate in any way after the order was placed. For a company that does business online it is disgrace.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to help with my orders. Crazy to believe that I look for reasons to give flowers, this is my go-to place for stunning floral arrangements. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business to others. As soon as i walked in, I was greeted by their great staff (blonde woman and man with tattoos) who went above and beyond and were so helpful. I will be a frequent customer from now on.

Negative experience: Rude and not at all helpful if you go in and ask ANY questions they will say no to any requests without even looking up from the desk but I guess they can get away with it since they’re kind of a big deal and been in business for many years

Positive experience: Order a congratulations on your promotion with a stuff animal and half of a dozen orange roses. The stuff animal was expensive wasn't a large animal and the balloon and roses didn't last 4 days. And that's with going with the care instucton with the food for the flowers. Very pricey. Fantastic experience: On August 2nd I called and I spoke with a lovely helpful woman who made me two of the most beautiful flower arrangements one in honor of my younger brothers birthday which was 8/3 but he passed in November. The other was to let my older sister know that she is my rock my everything and that my younger sister and I love her. The woman listened to what I was trying to convey and she was such a big help and all on very short notice. The delivery person was prompt pleasant and cordial. I highly recommend them. Fantastic experience: TO ALL, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia. That being said, I have a history with Steins Flourist Shop. I live now in Horsham, Pa. now, and continue to use Steins as my flourist for two reasons. First is Dana. What a nice, professional, person who never disappoints. Dana, delivers the ULTIMATE customer experience. She always makes sure everything is perfect. Second, is Steins the business. In a period of time called the pandemic, where price gouging is a thing for less services provided. NOT HERE! Great value for the money. Thank you Dana!

Fantastic experience: I had a Thanksgiving centerpiece sent to my girlfriend and Mom today. It was gorgeous and beautiful. They both loved it. The delivery person was outstanding. He brought the flowers in and put them on the dinigroom table since it was heavy and her Mom wasn't able to receive it. He also brought a package in off the step. Kudos to all.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually take the time to leave a review but I really wanted to give a shout out to Stein's for the excellent service that I received today. I meant to order flowers for a friend's birthday several days ago...but life got in the way and I never placed the order. Today is her actual birthday, so I stopped in the store this morning with the very last minute order request, including a specific request for Sunflowers to be a prominent part of the arrangement. The young man who helped me was so polite and helpful. He assured me that they could get a beautiful arrangement together for her and have it delivered to her work today. She received her flowers by 11:00 am and absolutely LOVED them. I would highly recommend this shop for any and all flower needs!

Fantastic experience: I live in Florida, but needed to send flowers to a funeral of a close family friend in Philadelphia. It was a bit scary spending so much money with a company I did not know, especially since I was not going to be there to see the final product. I was unsure what to do, as I have never done this type of flower order before, but they helped me come up with a perfect arrangement. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. They arranged a beautiful array of red, white, and blue to honor his military service. I would highly recommend them. You can feel 100% confident that the order will be perfect. Fantastic experience: We chose Stein’s florist for my daughter’s wedding, Dana Stein’s florist did such a magnificent job . My daughter initially wanted a rustic theme wedding and bought bouquets and boutonnières for her bridal party, with two outside arrangements for the pergola which was very classic but minimal . At the last minute, she decided on rustic candle centerpieces, lanterns & greenery along a large staircase. The end result was beyond Amazing, thank you again. We had dozens of compliments on the flowers & Stairs . The pictures were beautiful !! Dana you are the best !

Positive experience: I ordered some corsages for prom. They weren't ready when I went to pick them up. I had to wait while they made them, and some of the pedals on the roses were wilted, I had to pluck them off. I hate to write a bad review for a small local place but next time I need flowers I will probably go elsewhere.

Positive experience: Called & asked for peonies I was then told they do not have any. So I decided to double check while in the area. They in fact did have them. I believe I was told they didn’t have them because I mispronounced them. When I did agree to purchase a worker said oh they’re like $15 a stem when in fact the guy that answered phone in the back said they were $7.50. I’m pretty sure if the guy cashing out my purchase didn’t ask sir in the back she would’ve blindly overcharged me for the flowers. I did get the flowers but won’t patronize again!

Negative experience: Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother in law and was disappointed when I picked up the flowers. I ordered the “best” but they gave me the worst kind!! It looked nothing like the picture on their website! The flowers are dry. They gave me more leaves than the actual flowers. And the lady gave me a terrible attitude when I picked it up. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE I KNOW!

Negative experience: No customer service at all. Prices are the worst I’ve seen especially for half dead flowers. They even charge extra for a service that they can’t guarantee. How do you charge extra for something that isn’t guaranteed? Yeah just save your time and money.

Negative experience: I went to this flower shop for the first time and it was a désappointement.. First, my $60 dozen of roses were arranged by a 14 ish boy who barely knew what it was doing.. And when the bouquet was arranged, the roses look barely alive. When he brought them to me... After I mentioned that the roses look dead he reply that's because they are new...Me not trying to make a foss about it, I just tipped the boy pay for flowers and went on my hopping to be lucky... After 3 days this how those roses had become, dead.. I knew I should had kept my business to Proflowers that I have been using for years and never a single désappointement... You got me today but lost me FOREVER... AND GOOD LUCK...

Fantastic experience: Way back in the 1990's and maybe even before then, I always used Steins to send my mom flowers and anyone else. My Mom would cry and say, you give me flowers while can smell them. Mom's gone now. Today while attempting to order from another online florist, the price I saw slashed miracously showed up as the original price, sending my total skyrocketing up an additional 15% in addition to tax and delivery, even having to pay for a message card and a so called discount too. Well I cancelled and thought about Stein's. Stein's is right here in my city and I can brouse their window if I'm in the area in Philly. I have never not been pleased with their work. Today I ordered for the love of my life to bring her some happiness after such a trying last two years, my only daughter who lost her only daughter two years ago. Hope it make her smile today.
