Positive experience: Received a bunch of flowers in a container and although the flowers are ok, the sheets of ‘paper’ wrapped around the pot for presentation purposes are plastic. Can’t be recycled. Not impressed. Another bunch we received from a different florist was 100% paper and twine and looked beautiful. So it can be done.

Fantastic experience: Great Flowers delivered (with a smile) when requested would use again.

Negative experience: First time I have used them and not impressed. Being a trained florist myself I know what to expect and this was not it. Asked for a £40 handled and got about 12 stems just put together. The assistant that served me was nice, and the only one who spoke. The other lady I felt was rude and totally unwelcoming. Didn’t say a word or polite. I assume this is the owner? Not a way to be if you want a good experience or want to have your custom again. Flowers and colours limited. Had higher hopes - disappointed

Fantastic experience: Called at 1:10pm to order some flowers the same day without a clue of what I wanted. Katie sorted the flowers and got them delivered all within an hour That is some top service, and the missus loved the flowers! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Negative experience: My partner picked up a £30 bouquet for me and to be honest half the flowers look like they’re about to die or are already dead :( bit disappointed and not sure why these were sold the way they are or not at least heavily discounted, he was too polite to say anything. The bouquet itself is lovely but just looks past its best days

Fantastic experience: Ordered them at 1am at night through the website, was delivered by 11am in the morning. They listened to every tiny need I had from handwriting the card, to the colours used in the arrangement. Missus absolutely loved the surprise and loved the flowers. Great attention for detail and definitely will be using again :)

From the very first email I sent, Libby Ferris were caring, helpful, understanding and really listened to what we wanted (and what we didn't!). It never felt like we were "just another job" and the four pieces they did for us - two based posies, a coffin spray and a floral name arrangement - were beautiful. Fantastic experience: Sachiko and her team took time to listen to what we wanted for the central flower arrangement for my father in law's memorial service and were patient with me when I just waved my arms about and said, 'spring dog walk in woodland!' many times over; too tired to be able to express myself more coherently! They got it absolutely spot on - the tribute was perfectly beautiful, filling and complimenting the space (Colney) and providing a focal point for our service. So many people said how lovely it was and it genuinely couldn't have captured any better the spirit of the man we were celebrating. Negative experience: Ordered flowers for my Mums funeral. Chose cards at the time and emailed wording 10 days before funeral. Flowers did not have the message cards put on them . Obviously not very good service also the 3 arrangements were mostly foliage not many flowers at all.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I received a surprise arrangement from Libby Ferris Flowers. The flowers are stunning - beautiful, expertly presented, fresh, and in amazing condition! The person doing the delivery was friendly, courteous, and gave me advice on how to keep the flowers fresh. (The photos attached to this review were taken a day after their arrival - and after I'd already taken the flowers out and put them back in the bag they came in, so some of the colourful tissue paper is missing, but I think they still show how absolutely lovey and fresh the arrangement is.) I would recommend this florist and would use them myself for future floral arrangement needs.

A friendly and knowledgeable member of staff guided us through a questionnaire, showed us examples on tablet and before putting together some colour combinations of flowers from the shop to show how they would look together. Fantastic experience: I have now been lucky enough to receive three beautiful, unusual tied bouquets from Libby Ferris Flower shop. One of the three was - red roses which were actually scented (together with other unusual flowers and greenery) which fragranced the whole of my dining room and lounge! one of the best bouquets I have ever received. Also the staff are always very friendly and helpful when I have been into the shop. Keep up the good work - it is so good to find an independent florist.

Fantastic experience: Libby Ferris put together the flowers for my wedding - both the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, and the table decorations for the reception. At our initial appointment, I explained what we wanted; wild and natural looking flowers that were mostly native to the UK. They listened well and came up with some excellent ideas, such as using many different size and shape jars and vases and cutting the flowers at different heights to give a more natural feel. Our bouquets were also perfect and even better than I had imagined they could be. They also provided a friendly and personal service, and were very good at keeping in touch at different stages of planning.
