Fantastic experience: I ordered some flowers for my aunties 80th Birthday and I wanted something really special for her and Lavender florist really did deliver. The display was outstanding! My auntie was really pleased and I will definetely be using this florist again. Thank you to Lavender florists for making the day really special and the man who delivered them thank you for your helpfulness in putting the flowers where she wanted them.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful local florist where the staff are always friendly and helpful. We have used this florist many times over the years. They have a good display of already made up flower arrangements but will also make up anything you want - they have a wide selection of fresh flowers to pick from. They also have a very good selection of gifts, chocolates, vases etc - all of excellent quality. Recently brought my daughter an arrangement for her birthday and my wife an arrangement for her birthday and Valentine’s Day as well as a dried flower arrangement.

Negative experience: I am local to the florist and looked forward to taking a visit with my mum to share ideas regarding wedding flowers and potentially placing an order that same day… disappointingly this did not happen. I was advised by a team member (who was polite and helpful) to meet with Julie and so we returned once she had started work that day, Julie was standoffish, very blunt and not friendly in the slightest all whilst I began to explain my thoughts, her responses were condescending and short. Julie asked which flowers I wouldn’t want in the bouquets, I was shocked with her reaction ‘white roses?’ She scoffed when repeating after me all whilst shaking her head as she wrote the information down, as if it were the wrong answer. This was the moment I explained that I had to leave after her negative interactions with me. I hoped this was a one off and just a bad day but she seemed too comfortable acting this way. A lesson in customer care would go a long way. I will not be returning nor recommending her business.

Negative experience: In search of a special arrangement for my moms 70th, & after numerous recommendations I visited here and after looking round the shop I sought advise from staff. I was able to explain what I was after, but I was shockingly advised to look up bouquets and arrangements they offer on their website. The life we live is controlled by technology, and I thought I was doing right by supporting a small business and visiting in the flesh instead of going online. I wanted a feel for what I would be putting a considerable amount of money into and I was denied this. Maybe I went on a bad day, but myself and my partner were disappointed by this response and sorry but we would not consider trying in the future.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a bouquet for Mothers Day and had it delivered for Sunday, but I realised Lavender florist were closed on Sundays and I was worried I wouldn’t receive my order - thankfully I did! They’re just as beautiful as they are online, exactly like the picture and definitely fresh flowers! Thank you so much for delivering I would definitely order again!

Fantastic experience: I walked into Lavender Florist for the first time on Saturday 10 August hoping to purchase some flowers for my fiancée’s birthday. I received a friendly welcome and was allowed to peruse the bouquets available without being pressurised which makes a welcome change in this day and age. On making my choice I made my way to the counter and engaged with the staff member (name unfortunately not known)who displayed first class customer service and showed genuine interest in the reasons for my purchase as opposed to just telling me how much they were. Such great customer service and welcoming manner deserves recognition so if you live anywhere near Penkridge and require high quality flowers don’t hesitate to make your way to Lavender Florists.

Fantastic experience: Lavender florist made us a heart for my sister funeral. We wanted it in white with light lavender ribbon to match other floral wreaths made there. We found some Beatrix potter cake toppers of Peter Rabbit and Friends and asked if they would look ok would they add them. I was brought to tears when I saw my family flowers they had found some pale lilac roses it was breathtaking. They even added our four little Beatrix potters figures among the flowers. I could not have been more pleased neither could my family. My sister loved flowers and I know she would have truly loved this floral tribute. I can’t thank them enough Ann Armishaw x

Fantastic experience: Lucy and the team at Lavender did the flowers for our wedding last month, from the bouquets to the venue. During our meetings, it was useful speaking with an actual florist who could come up with all sorts of ideas and show them to us with fresh flowers from the shop. On the big day the flowers were, in the words of a few of our guests, stunning. We would happily recommend Lavender to any couple planning their wedding.

Negative experience: Had flowers sent at Christmas by friends who were on holiday unfortunately they only lasted 3 days! My little grandson bought me some for mothering Sunday and they lasted 4 days! Think I will stick to supermarkets in future. Very disappointing
