Go Dutch Flowers

Negative experience: I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but with this recent spell of one star reviews it seems this February they really dropped the ball. I ordered flowers in mid-January for Valentines week and all seemed well, then weeks later it is silence from them and collection day rolls around and I hear nothing. I email them again after the supposed collection date and still hear nothing not even an excuse. Very lucky I was able to get backup flowers elsewhere but the lack of communication before during and after is very unprofessional. Again maybe I caught them at a bad time, but I would rather be flowerless next time than try my luck again.

Negative experience: Do not use this business for delivery. They will miss the delivery date without a care in the world and be uncontactable for days afterwards. Check all the other one star reviews that prove my point before ordering delivery. I’ll give the one star cause they did refund me after multiple calls and emails.

Negative experience: Ordered flowers for valentine's which never arrived. That’s bad enough but they don’t answer their phone and are not replying to my emails. Very bad customer service, avoid this company

Negative experience: First and foremost I like the people and the business as a whole. I have great chats with the people in there as there are always pleasant friendly. However today on Valentines day they did not provide a good service in terms of communicating to me when they would deliver the flowers. This was a last minute order. This was ordered and paid the Wednesday(3days) before Valentines. Address was taken. On Valentines day no call, no notification, no text message as to when they will come. I left two voicemails on their office phone. No response back. By this stage its 12 noon and i have no idea when its going to be delivered I call a third time and i eventually get to speak to someone who needs to double check my order. Calls me back and asks whats my eircode and then tells me it will be delivered this evening. If you had called me or sent a message of some sort then i would not be submitting this review. But your service was very lax, not very accomatating so i decided at quarter past 2 to collect it myself. Would have had no problem collecting it if you had told me you not guarantee when its going to be delivered. For those reasons not happy with the service.

Positive experience: I sent these flowers for my Aunt who passed away 4 days earlier. The beautiful bright colours are how she was, bright and beautiful. I received an email today telling me they had been delivered yesterday. PERFECT. I will be using again for my family in Ireland.

Negative experience: I ordered a ‘woodland pillow’ as shown in my photos. The product that I received looked nothing like what was advertised on the website. The surrounding of the wreath online showed sphagnum moss - The product supplied had stapled on leafs. When I raised these concerns with their customer service team - you will see the response in the attached photos. No explanation offered as to why the product on site looked nothing like the one in hand.

Fantastic experience: I found it easy to choose flowers as they were well displayed on website. Ordering was easy and notification of order being ready and delivery was very good. I would recommend Go Dutch.

Fantastic experience: I have been placing flower delivery orders with them for a while now. We have family in Ireland but live in the USA. They not only make the most beautiful arrangements but take the time to send me a short video so I can see their amazing work. My mother in law is always so happy with her flowers and we could not be happier at how easy the process is.

Negative experience: Horrendous experience this Mother's day. I ordered a delivery for Saturday 29th and they never arrived. Zero contact from the shop and I had to contact their customer service and received a generic email response. Again I had to contact the shop in Galway and when they rang me back, they guaranteed delivery by 6pm yesterday evening 30th March 2025. This morning the 31st when my aunt was leaving the house for an appointment., the flowers were blown across the front garden. They were either delivered very late last night or first thing this morning and probably due to embarrassment, no one rang the doorbell or knocked at the door with the delivery. Very annoyed at my whole experience with this shop and will be contacting them this morning for a full refund.

Negative experience: I received unacceptable customer service. Mother's Day flower delivery failed to arrive despite payment of €50, demonstrating a disregard for customer satisfaction and inappropriate billing practices. I strongly advise against using this service; it was the worst I have experienced. Alternative online florists provide superior product quality and timely delivery.

Negative experience: I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet in a floral foam box, paid, and was told to come back in an hour. When I came back, there were two people in front of me waiting for orders that had apparently been lost. When they eventually got to me, it turns out they hadn't even started mine. After the assistant spent 20 minutes hastily assembling it in front of me, she handed the bag to me and when I arrived home it turned out she hadn't made what I paid for - it was just in a bag of water. I was annoyed to spend €60 and not get what I asked for. If they were too busy to handle my order I could have gotten the same thing for less elsewhere. Very frustrating. Manager was standing there with his hands in his pockets the entire time his assistant was scrambling to get orders filled and just shrugged when I pointed out that this wasn't right. The whole thing left me feeling pretty annoyed.

Recently, one of these wonderful people experienced a profound loss. At the recommendation of a friend, I promptly reached out to Go Dutch Flowers, and they were more than accommodating. They promptly delivered a beautiful bouquet on the very day I placed my order. Positive experience: Edit 18.02.2025: I am updating this review, which was critical of the company's customer service, to reflect the fact that Go Dutch have since gotten in contact and made things right. The flowers I ordered were lovely - there were issues with the delivery, and initially a frustrating lack of response from Go Dutch, but I am satisfied with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: The service was excellent from start to end. It was very easy to place the order, with the web page having no unnecessary complications. They had a delivery slot for me at short notice and, for my surprise, they even sent me a short video of the flower arrangement just before delivery. I will recommend them without a doubt!

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. We had multiple emails confirming our booking but when we tried to arrange a meeting to discuss specific flower needs we were told we weren't even booked. We showed him several emails and he just shrugged and said a member of staff wrote them not him and didn't care. He offered to book us in then, however we couldn't trust that they would not show up on the day and leave us disappointed.

Ordered 11am on day of delivery for Galway City. Delivered 530pm which was a little late but I hadn't specified a delivery time. Birthday girl had gone home at 5pm!

Negative experience: While the flower displays are excellent I've had two seperate bad experiences of flowers not being delivered. First time i had to follow up and was told that there was an issue with their ordering system. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as when the flowers eventually arrived they were very impressive. Second time I placed a order the flowers never arrived. I followed up on the day in question and was told the flowers would be delivered that day. No sign of the flowers that day or the next and i had to do a lot of following up to get a refund. On both occasions the flowers were for a special occasion so it was hugely embarrassing that they didn't show up and if I didn't check with the person they were for id have been none the wiser that the flowers I'd spent a lot of money on hadn't arrived. If anyone is buying flowers from this shop I'd recommend going to the shop because the online system is unreliable at best.

Negative experience: I'd avoid this company if you need your flowers Delivered. Rang 3 days early for delivery and told them I needed them delivered to the hotel before 1.30pm as it was a suprise for my girlfriends birthday. Came to 4pm we entered the room and no flowers. Such a disappointment when we walking into no flowers. Avoid GO Dutch

Negative experience: I have ordered from Go Dutch about a dozen times. This time they really messed up. I placed an order for Valentines Day. They never delivered the flowers nor even contacted me to explain what happened. I reached out twice before they even responded. Not only did they not accept fault, but I was never given an explanation as to the error on their part. The flowers still haven’t even been delivered. They just lost a customer.

Fantastic experience: I bought flowers for myself to cheer up a blue Monday; they were beautiful and delivered the same day to my house in a lovely box, no fuss changing water or moving them to a vase. Excellent service, I'd recommend them if you've to get a lovely gift to someone on the same day. (I.e. if you forgot your girlfriend's birthday and need to make it seem like you remembered all along!)

Negative experience: Can't believe the completely disgusting attitude of the lady in this shop. Wife called to only inform that the flowers we received for our wedding the day after were dying. Not to complain but just to let them know. The response was , that's fine and hung up Also same occasion my sister in law ordered flowers for our wedding and they got sent to the wrong person, she got another bouquet not of which she ordered. I've used this shop for years but never again , as it must be under new staff or something. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP.
