Negative experience: My son ordered these overseas for my wife's birthday here in NZ. They were delivered on the day, but looked a bit tired. The first photo was taken on the day and stems had to be thrown out. The second photo was taken two days late and the flowers were wilting. Alstroemerias normally last a long time so these flowers were old. Unacceptable and avoid these suppliers.

Negative experience: We are disappointed to post that we have had a less than satisfactory experience with Bloomex NZ Flowers. Our order was specifically for a bunch of cut and tied 'White' flowers only with added green foliage. The photo of the flowers sent to us by the recipient shows red, pink and yellow flowers with foliage. Our order was $100 less a first user discount - the actual cost being $89.90 which we felt entitled us to expect our order to be filled as requested. We were also not satisfied with the delivery time of our order. Overall very disappointing and we will not use the business again.

Negative experience: It was my sisters birthday yesterday so wanted to send her a lovely bouquet. I googled ‘Wellsford Florist’ & these two ‘Florists’ came up. I made an online order ( bouquet in pics) through Bloomex /same day delivery service. Received a call /email by afternoon to say unable to deliver flowers as no available courier in area . They could deliver next day ( today 18th Feb) & offer discount . It was difficult to understand the caller. That didn’t work for me so cancelled order & asked for refund. Caller said refund would go through at end of day. Realising the time of day & hoping to get something delivered, I then googled ‘Wellsford Florist’ again . ‘NZ Blooms’ came up so clicked on website for contact details. I called NZ Blooms directly . Spoke to ‘Joseph’ who took my order for a bday bouquet. He said delivery wouldn’t be made until today. By that stage we agreed ‘it would be better to receive late than not at all’. Once payment had been made I said I would email him the message to go in the card ( easier to type in a msg when ordering online than retelling over the phone). I received an email confirmation of my order . I was a bit surprised & confused the email came from ‘Bloomex’. Thought I had cancelled my order via Bloomex earlier.. I mentioned this to Joseph. Later I checked my bank acct payment made & same payee name ‘Bloomex’. Not NZ Blooms Today..18th Feb & still waiting to receive my refund of $109.18. A couple of back n forth emails + a phone call , my refund request is ‘still under review by Management to ensure everything is handled correctly.’ ‘Once the review is completed we will get back to you asap with a clear update regarding the status of your refund.’ Be aware & be careful when ordering flowers online .. Yes the flowers were delivered this morning however I asked my sister to send a photo & they’re not what I thought I ordered or paid for. And no handwritten message in the card either just what you see in the pics shown. Half pai! Disappointed! Next time I’ll order locally through a reputable Florist in Warkworth or Mangawhai . # Refund confirmed - May take up to 10days for refund to appear in your account .

Negative experience: Please do not buy off these guys! The people that you deal with on the phone are soooo rude and inconsiderate. The flowers are not what they are online, but completely different colours and sorts. After delivering my flowers late, the only thing they could give me was a $5 refund. What a joke and scam.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing Experience I regret having to leave this review, but others should be aware of my experience. I paid $240 for Valentine’s Day flowers. They did not arrive at all. No delivery. No communication. Nothing. When I contacted customer service, I waited over 35 minutes to speak to someone. When I finally got through, I was given information that was plainly incorrect regarding the status of my order. Afterwards, I checked Trustpilot and found a significant number of recent reviews describing similar experiences — missed deliveries, poor communication, and difficulty obtaining refunds. I also reviewed the Companies Office records and could not find a New Zealand-based director listed, which raises concerns about accountability and local oversight. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company. Proceed with caution. I will be asking my credit card company for a refund now.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this experience. The business advertises as local to Christchurch, but the flowers were shipped overnight from Auckland, which feels misleading. The Google ads and online images also don’t reflect the actual product received. The flowers looked average at best, some slightly wilted, and not what you’d expect for $145. Overnight delivery was also not met.I’d recommend supporting genuinely local florists instead for better quality and transparency.

Negative experience: Kevin was helpful and patient when taking my order, which is why I trusted him when he assured me there would be no issue with the flower I wanted, delivery location, date, and time. Based on that assurance, I confidently placed the order. The very next day, I received an email saying delivery was not possible, which directly contradicted what Kevin had promised. When I called to clarify, I was told the location was too far. I then offered to pick up the flowers myself, only to be told pickup wasn’t allowed because the Onehunga branch is just a warehouse. I then suggested delivery to my home address, which is closer, and I would personally bring the flowers to the funeral in Hibiscus Coast. At that point, they suddenly said they needed to check with the warehouse if the flowers were even available. I waited two hours with no update. When I called again, I received an email during the call saying the order was already out for delivery. When the flowers finally arrived, they looked nothing like what I ordered and were absolutely not worth the price we paid. On top of that, the sympathy card was left blank, even though they specifically asked me to email the message in advance. That is unacceptable, especially for a funeral arrangement. What makes this worse is that Kevin encouraged us to upgrade to the super deluxe option. We agreed because this was for a loved one who had passed away, a deeply emotional and sensitive time. Instead, we received poor quality, broken promises, and careless service. This experience felt misleading, disorganized, and extremely disappointing. Customers ordering for funerals deserve honesty, proper communication, and basic respect, not excuses, last-minute changes, and substandard products. I am requesting a partial refund for the poor quality of the arrangement and the failure to provide the service that was promised. No family should have to deal with this kind of stress during a time of grief.

Negative experience: BEWARE What you pay for and what you get are totally different. I phoned my order with specific request for colour of flowers and asked for no pink. These were for my cousin as my uncle had just passed away. Lady on phone helpful taking order, suggested bouquet (se attached pic) I upgraded to deluxe with vase. I asked for NO Pink flowers. See pictures of what I was expecting and what was delivered! Will order from a different florist next time. Very disappointed.

Firstly, your flowers will likely come from the large facility in Auckland, so unless you are based there, they'll be shipped (via standard post) to rest of NZ from Auckland.. far from local. Secondly, the products that arrive are nothing as they are shown on the website. Waste of money.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. ITS A SCAM. Even though my daughter got her flowers I was upsold 2 items that did not get honoured. Flowers were not as impressive as sold over the phone. I order them at 11.45 this morning and by 12.34pm I got an email saying that DUE TO A COURIER ISSUE THEY COULDNT DELIVER THEM But they had a local florist who could deliver them but they don't honour their specials... I had asked if they were in the area they had said yes!! I would have said don't worry deliver tomorrow. I asked my daughter if there was any signage on the bouquet to see where it had come from and not a thing. VERY DODGY VERY DISSAPOINTED

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Wish i read the reviews before ordering. Payed exta for a same day delivery this morning - many hours before the cut off time. Some time in the afternoon the delivery tracking said its "on the way" Fast forward to 8pm ( 11 hours after the order was placed) i finally call. The lady on the phone said it will be delivered tomorrow when my intended recipient wont be home for days, Then offered a partial refund as a store credit to somewhere ill never return to, instead of a full refund to my account. For the many of you reading with the same issue past and present and future. This is a breach of the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act by misleading you about their product and services. By purchasing and paying for the service is akin to signing a contract for that service to be provided. It only takes a few minutes of your time to lay a complaint with the Commerce Commission. Essentially this is a scam. >offer a service >fail to provide service >offer store credit >customer never returns >keep money I know it may not seem like much of a loss individually $100 from me, another $50 from you, $80 to the next person. Its how they get away with it. It all adds up to thousands in scammed revenue for this buisness. And not only that, they are preying on customers to achieve this scam, Not only in there happiest moments. But in their darkest moments too. All moments where flowers would be gifted.

Fantastic experience: MATTHEW was very helpful and made ordering flowers online very easy. Much appreciated. HOWEVER - Matthew failed to tell me that the order would not be delivered until the day after the one I requested. And this was a very important gift to my granddaughter that needed to be delivered on the day requested. Order placed on Tuesday for Wednesday delivery - failed. Being delivered on Thursday instead. Subsequently, I will not use this company again.

Negative experience: I ordered a bunch of assorted roses, a vase and card combo, The roses and card showed up but not the vase that I paid for, they have been hard to get in contact with no response by email and slow by live chat. The roses are beautiful and my mum loves them as they were a gift from me for her birthday which is today. It would be nice to have tracking information with online orders and it would be great to get a quicker response. I will be more then happy to give a 5 star review once the issue with the vase is sorted.

Negative experience: Really disappointed here. I ordered a boquet for my fiance's birthday as I'm out of the country and was assured that delivery would be made by noon. Made sure she would be home for around that time before she went to spend the day with friends. 2pm roles around and nothing has arrived, I call and they give me a vague response about how they actually CAN'T guarentee delivery and hopefully it'll arrive soon, and they promised that I'd receive a note from the courier to give me a update. 5:00 PM roles around, my fiance is long gone, her whole family is out and when I call, they basically say "oh sorry about that, I'm sure it'll arrive soon. Hope it works out" and they hang up. No assurance, no offers for compensation, nothing. If they couldn't guarentee delivery from the outset, that is completely fine, I would have simply gone with another florist. But they gave assurances and then seemed completely disinterested and unbothered by the fact that they did not deliver. If you need this to arrive on time..go elsewhere.

Negative experience: I ordered flowers from Bloomex as a thoughtful gesture for a friend and paid extra for same-day delivery. I was told the company was local, but later found out they operate out of Auckland. The order still hasn’t arrived, and despite several follow-up calls, I’ve only been told to keep waiting..it will be day 3..an they're still in transit..gutted that 3 days these flowers have been in transit..

Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMEND! Quite possibly the worst customer service and delivery ever. Not only were the flowers delivered a day later than promised, they were delivered to the WRONG address in the WRONG town. When the florist promised to make amends, they did completely nothing. No refund, no courtesy flowers, nothing. Worst florist service ever.

Negative experience: Rung to speak to the shop directly to make my daughter’s day special as she is far away from us, spoke with a lady called Cathy, who obviously was not from NZ. She spelt my daughter’s name incorrectly, and then signed off with my name as “Mom” I never use that. Flowers are very personal so feel let down that my daughter has not got from my husband and I what I thought I was sending. I only hope the flowers make up for how I feel at the moment… extremely let down.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Josh. I paid for same-day delivery which apparently was not available so was refunded and my order was upgraded. ...... Meanwhile, a month later. A refund did not come through and my order was not upgraded. The original order was delivered on Monday, having been in transit since Friday.
