Negative experience: I ordered the 'Florists Choice Deluxe' costing $180 plus shipping for a good friend in Dunedin. I live in the Nth Island. Terribly disappointed in the quantity of flowers received. Embarrassing for $180. What an absolute rip off.

Negative experience: The flowers and shop were beautiful, but the customer service was disappointing - very. The person I interacted with was dismissive, condescending, and quite rude—leaving me with the strong impression that my presence wasn’t welcome. When visiting a flower shop, one should walk away with a smile, not discomfort. Sadly, this person seemed to be having a bad day, but that attitude shouldn’t be passed on to customers.

Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with our communications with the very obliging Ashley and Nicole! They were incredibly helpful and talented, and arranged a stunning casket spray for my mother. We think back on the whole experience with comfort and gratitude.

Negative experience: Sold me a rotten plant then made me get it out of the rubbish at home and bring it in for a refund. Had an attitude the whole time and changed my mind completely on spending any money in store ever again. Nicole in particular needs a real attitude check. Amryllis is a much better florist with 10000x the customer service and they’ve never sold me a rotten plant.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful flowers arranged by bunches and bows. Easy to order online at around 9pm (after hours) and they were quick to deliver before 11am the following morning. Very impressed with the arrangement and I found it to be a reasonable price! Communication was great also with staff confirming the address via text before sending. Will buy again. Thanks team!! x

Fantastic experience: I called from Sydney ordered flowers for my mum for mothers day to be delivered to her at work, the lady I spoke with so lovely helpful and polite. I received an email from my mum she was over whelmed with happiness happy to receive such a beautiful big flower arrangement all the other staff commented on them saying how beautiful my mums flowers looked. Negative experience: Bunches & Bows florist has lovely flowers and the fact you can go in and choose your own flowers to be in the bouquet is why I went in. I asked for two bouquets, with two roses in each. When the staff offered for wrapping and foliage, I said yes - presuming it will not add to the cost drastically. The two bouquet came to $60.00 in total. That has only 2 roses as main flowers in each. Considering there were bigger bouquets with more flowers at a lower cost at the front of the shop - I was taken back by the cost. I presume the higher cost of the bouquet were for the foliage and wrapping - which I believe should have been communicated beforehand. Additionally, if gift wrapping is that expensive, the florist should have enquired what kind of design would the customer prefer, instead of being so unapproachable that I didn't feel comfortable informing him what I would like. So in summary - transparent pricing, enquire the final cost of the bouquet beforehand as it might unpleasantly surprise the buyer - enquiring after how the customer would like the flower to be gift wrapped if you will be significantly charging for them. I am not unhappy with the cost of the bouquets understanding flowers are costly, but I believe price should be communicated beforehand and I would have considered other options.

Negative experience: Unfortunately the customer service my partner experienced was not up to a very good standard. She had gone in to purchase flowers and was not greeted in a friendly manner. She had asked a simple question to which she was answered in an extremely demeaning way which made her uncomfortable and ultimately left the store in order to shop elsewhere. I'd like to think that they're aware that people purchase flowers for a variety of reasons, some good and some bad and you never know what someone is going through so it seems very unprofessional that this is the standard of customer service on this occasion.

Twice in the last month I have requested special bunches of flowers to be made up for different occasions (at short notice) and even though I didn't spend a whole lot the care and attention with each was very much appreciated. Negative experience: Quite astounded to be told I am difficult when the question was asked for the product brand of the goodies in the gift basket. Very unhelpful and rude, did not want to elaborate and said the basket would not look like the 'bestseller' on the website'. Would not recommend phone orders.

Fantastic experience: Their flowers are reasonably priced. There are a lot of price points and styles to choose from. I usually get my flowers here as it is so close to the hospital as well.
