Fantastic experience: The gift was fantastic!

Negative experience: Lake Eola Florist is a florist I would never recommend. My husband, family, and friends have always ordered from In Bloom or Colonial Florist with wonderful experiences. This year for Valentine’s Day, my husband decided to try Lake Eola Florist — and it turned into a huge disappointment. On Friday, February 13, 2026, my husband ordered a bouquet of tulips (my favorite flowers), a Valentine’s Day balloon, and delivery. The flowers were delivered after 5pm while I was at my son’s baseball game. When we got home, he brought them inside — the tulips were already wilted (and while tulips naturally droop some, these were clearly struggling), and the balloon was half-flat. Saturday and Sunday, the flowers still did not look good. We refreshed the water and left them on the dining table while we were away in Daytona for the races. By Tuesday, February 17th — just four days later — multiple blooms had completely fallen off and the arrangement looked worse than ever. I called the florist and was told I would receive a follow-up call or text. Two hours later, I received a text stating that “vase life is 5–7 days.” However, today was only day four — and that’s stretching it considering the late delivery and the poor condition upon arrival. I sent photos and explained everything. I was told that because the arrangement was delivered days ago, I could not receive a refund — but if I brought in a vase to the shop, I could receive a complimentary bouquet of roses. I do not like roses — which is exactly why my husband ordered tulips. At that point, I still did not know the total cost. After speaking with my husband, I learned he paid $110 for the flowers, balloon, and delivery. For that price, I expect an arrangement from a higher-end florist to last longer than four days — especially when it did not arrive in good condition to begin with. Asking me to bring in my own vase to pick up roses (that I do not even like) is not an acceptable solution. Customers work hard for their money, just like florists work hard on their arrangements. Quality and customer service should match the price point. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I highly recommend In Bloom or Colonial Florist instead — they consistently provide beautiful arrangements and stand behind their product to keep customers happy and returning.

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the most amazing experience with Lake Eola Florist this Valentine’s Day! The sunflower arrangement was absolutely stunning . fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged. The colors were so bright and cheerful, it instantly lit up the whole room. They also delivered balloons and a card, and everything was perfect. The balloons were high quality and added such a sweet touch, and the handwritten card was done with care. You can tell they truly pay attention to detail. Delivery was right on time, especially impressive for Valentine’s Day when things are so busy. Everything arrived in perfect condition and looked even better than I imagined. If you’re looking for a florist that delivers quality, professionalism, and heart, Eola Florist is it. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!

Fantastic experience: These guys were absolutely great. Ordered a dozen long stem roses with the premium look. There's a beginner, Intermediate, and a premium feel/look to whatever it is you choose to order. Located right next to eola park, you can walk with your partner at the park & literally surprise her with roses on a whim. Ordered the roses a week in advance & was on time without any problems. 100% would recommend and tip well, they do awesome jobs.

Negative experience: My wife had to work on our 20th anniversary. So I decided to send her flowers. Sadly the flowers never arrived. Called to have a refund processed, and Mariela was very unhelpful. This shop is unfortunately not one to rely on for a special occasion. I had to call my credit card company to have them process a charge back for a service I never received.

Negative experience: They wouldn’t do a flower bouquet. Only in a vase. I’m in for a corporate function and needed thank you bouquets for our event planners. Pretty simple order but they were not willing to just tie/wrap them. They insisted vase only.

Negative experience: Countdown timer on website is a gimmick. I placed a same day order and it was not even created. Hours on google are wrong and they “don't know” how to change them. Two weeks and I have not received a refund and email was bounced back.

Negative experience: For this Valentine's Day, my husband sent me flowers as a surprise, but since they couldn't make it on time to my job, the driver called me asking for my home address!!! and texted me photos!!! I was called at 3 pm to be asked until what time I would be at work, I said until 5 and the driver was ok with it, but at 5 he was almost an hour behind so after the surprise was ruined I gave my home address and it wasn't until 830 pm that I received the flowers, the special message wasn't on the dedication and they add my husband name for me thank him even do he request anonymous service. Irresponsible, late, no anonymous service at all. The service was requested the day before.

I placed order 25 minutes before they closed and was able to pickup my order the next day. Also, the shop owner was so sweet.

Negative experience: Ordered flowers for a friend of mine in a show I couldn’t make it to. The order process was easy enough but she never received her flowers and no one at The Abbey remembers getting them. Everyone in the building knows each other so even if they were given to someone else they would have made sure she got them. I left my number as well as the number of the venue in case there was confusion and was never contacted. Got an email on the 29th saying the flowers were on their way and then didn’t get another until the next day confirming delivery. There isn’t even any way to know WHO or WHERE the flowers actually ended up with so I have no clue where they went. Incredibly disappointed that the $60 I spent for a nice surprise with a local business was a waste.
