Fantastic experience: I was looking for sympathy plants on line at the typical sites, FTD, 1800flowers... I came across Colonial Florist. I decided to shop local and thought it would be easier to speak to someone directly. I am so happy I did. They were so helpful. I needed two arrangements being delivered 3 houses apart. They helped with wording on the card and only charged one delivery fee. The price for the arrangement was great too. I will definitely shop with them again for any future floral needs.

Negative experience: I couldn’t be more disappointed with this florist over my last two trips there. The previous one left me with dead flowers within a week. Having purchased from them before and being very happy, I said this was an anomaly and I should give them another try. For Mother’s Day I had pre-ordered a designers choice bouquet. Only for them to have not made the order when I went to pick it up. I was offered a cheap looking alternative or to wait for them to make it. Having already been standing there for 15 minutes and out of principle, I declined. As I type this out, I remember previous times I had gone in there was trouble finding my order at those times, too. But it was always found…miraculously. This is the first time they blatantly didn’t do it. Disappointed doesn’t begin to describe how I feel right now.

Positive experience: Order from out of state for my daughter’s performance. I had someone pick up the arrangement. The florist seemed great. Flowers were ready for pick up ahead of time. Communication via email was awesome. Lastly, I asked for a picture and did not have time to review it before the person I had scheduled to pick up did so. You can be the judge of it… Top picture was ordered Bottom picture was the product. “Yellow roses, pink carnations, white alstroemeria and pink asters are accented with solidago and oregonia. Delivered in a Couture vase.” Will update review if a response is given from florist.

Fantastic experience: I came here earlier today to pick up a set of roses to surprise this girl i am talking to on her lunch break and paige was an absolutely PHENOMENAL help. I told her what i wanted and she got right to work helping me arrange a beautiful set of roses with 2 different colors that complimented each other really well. When i told her it was for a girl whose still at work for the day she made sure to put the vase in a box so that it would be sturdy on her way home, and as well as she was very personable and had great customer service. I had an absolutely fantastic time shopping here today and Paige was a big help to that.

Fantastic experience: Ordered several arrangements for a funeral and we were very happy with the way they came out. They looked beautiful and I appreciated that you are able to customize the arrangements by adding a certain color or a favorite flower.

Negative experience: My sisters and I ordered flowers from this place for a funeral for my niece we received these flowers. They were very small, but what really irritated me was the fact that they gave us a piece of paper that said “hey it’s” and all our name, the last name was DOWN, which somebody at the funeral home had to cross it off and put the guys name it which is spelled DON not DOWN this was so unacceptable. We were so embarrassed.

Negative experience: Placed a big order for my client days in advance and company cancelled, never called or sent an email. Their reasoning was legal name wasn’t in email address provided (everyone doesn’t include their name on a email address and it could of been a company sending which it was) and because the gifting note had a nickname (which wasn’t required or specified must use billing name) it was a valentines order that he never received. Didn’t even know it wasn’t going to be delivered until after the requested delivery time because they never contacted any of us. We had to call and find out!! Very upsetting!! Thank God I found another company to fulfill our order

Negative experience: I always use this company. I forgot to add a gate code and the person delivering had to wait all or 15 minutes before he was able to be let in. He then was rude to my wife was the recipient of the flowers. Totally ruined the occasion because he had to wait 15 minutes. I admit I missed the call but it was seriously unacceptable. I’ll get my flowers from Publix from Now on.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal experience! For my Anniversary, the day before Hurricane Helene made landfall, I ordered 18 red roses for my fiancee. They were delivered to her office at the time promised. My fiancee was truly surprised and the ladies in her office also loved the flowers. My fiancee stated that the roses were in bloom and filled her office and corridor with a beautiful scent. Colonial Florist did an all around great job.

Fantastic experience: There are several reasons why I have been a steady customer of Colonial Florist for more than a decade. When I call in, they know me, and they know what my wife likes. They always add an extra touch, and the arrangements they deliver are always exceptional. Most recently, they featured long-stem red roses, two dozen for the price of one. Usually, when something is “free”, you expect that it will be “worth every penny”. Not this time. We received two dozen PREMIUM roses, beautifully arranged and just reaching full bloom. They were spectacular! Their fragrance filled the room. They have remained beautiful for more than a week. Never have a seen such a beautiful bouquet designed with 2 dozen long stem roses from my husband who sent them in celebration of our “meeting” 26 yrs ago! Arrived on Sat. Aug. 3rd & I still have them all looking good 9 days later! Yes, I recut stems changed water often , but was beyond thrilled with the longevity! Highly recommend Colonial Florist

The premium flowers in the bouquet were breathtaking, and I enjoyed the bouquet at my home for two weeks beyond the service. My mother worked in floral design, and she loved flowers. Negative experience: Two sympathy arrangements for a family funeral were substandard and not close to what we ordered. More than the money spent it was embarrassing that our flowers didn’t look good next to the others. We couldn’t make it to the funeral but really hoped the florals would be nice. I won’t order long distance ever again. Some money was refunded.

Negative experience: I am a driver of the delivery applications this is the worst business to make delivery they steal the tip left by the person who sends the flowers I did a test my aunt bought some flowers myself I took the order my aunt left $29 tip and these people only gave me $5 tip

Fantastic experience: I wanted to surprise our sons girlfriend with some of her favorite flowers for her 22nd birthday. She lives in Florida and goes to University. We are out of state and so I googled florists near her address. I selected Colonial Florist. Tulips are her favorite flower and being it is the off season for them, I thought I would still inquire. Vicky at Colonial was so kind and immediately said “let’s see if this is something we can do for you.” She gave me a call back within a few minutes and was able to accommodate a bouquet of pink (girlfriends fav color) tulips. I was thrilled. So I placed the order over the phone and we were going to have them delivered on her b-day which was Oct 3. Well with Ian coming in, I found out that the University would be closing and students would not be on campus and she would be flying out of state for a few days. I called up Colonial and asked if we could hold off the delivery till the 6th of October and they said that would be fine. Well yesterday her bouquet was delivered. She absolutely loves it! I asked if she would send me a picture and she did. I will share. I was thinking it was going to be just a bunch of pink tulips in a glass vase with a bow. However, the bouquet is more beautiful then expected. I called Colonial this morning and spoke with Vicky regarding the bouquet, just so they would know that what I thought I was ordering was not exactly what was delivered. So she double checked it for me. I thought it was going to be just a bunch of simple tulips in a vase with a ribbon, but it was more then that. Kathy from Colonial then phoned me and left a message stating that “the other pink flower” that I see in the photo below is also a tulip. The larger ones are double tulips and I never knew there was such a thing. The green foliage they included just set off the flowers beautifully. This is a fabulous company to work with. Level of communication is stupendous and their desire to ensure you are happy speaks volumes. Fantastic experience: Kudos to Colonial Florist! My mom husband ordered flowers for me and her for Mother’s Day. He ordered daisies in all the different colors they had and a little filler. When they were delivered yesterday, he didn’t recognize them as what he ordered. There was one rose, some white daisies, a couple carnations, and filler flowers, but it was very bare. He was so sad about it that I called the florist, cringing at calling on this busy, busy day. The owner was so understanding and nice and said he would replace the order. Just over an hour later, I have a beautiful full basket of white, yellow and lilac daisies. This is why the community have used Colonial Florist for over 40 years. Fantastic experience: The flowers exceeded my expectations. There were substitutions,as some flowers were not available, but were replaced with another of equal quality, if not better. Positive experience: Flowers were beautiful, but they had not one, but TWO spelling errors in what was supposed to be a a short, sweet message. I paid $85 for flowers and delivery, and obviously no one proof-read the message at any point of the process. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience...! I ordered flowers online the day prior to my daughter's birthday, and while placing the order, I inadvertently spelled her first name wrong. I didnt notice until I had my order confirmed. I just assumed I would jokingly get razed by my daughter. The morning of her delivery, I got a call from Rob to verify the spelling and review my receipt to ensure correctness. I was so thankful that he took the time to review my order and correct my dumb mistake...whether they do that with every order or not, this was the long lost art of great customer service. My daughter received her flowers and sent me a picture, and again, I was impressed, because they looked exactly like what I had ordered for her! I will use this florist for any other order I place long distance from Arizona, and I highly recommend this business for your needs!

Negative experience: Me and my wife had just moved into this area and the first place and that I called was colonial flowers to get arrangement for my wife well I ordered 12 roses they made a mistake and gave her three roses I called and they offered to replace the additional flowers which is too late to do once someone gets a surprise it’s not good to send them another addition of roses I thought that was kind of tacky so for me be very clear with these people or order could possibly get messed up I won’t be using this company again and normally I order roses for my wife one time to two times a month good luck

First off, I had worked with David and he had great customer service skills. He was very helpful when I was figuring out my bouquets, and was always available to answer any questions I had.
