Negative experience: This was the perfect shop as I made a special purpose to drive here, walked in and was totally ignored by the staff as they were attending to flower orders so I thought no point. I will now drive much further to go somewhere that actually wants to say hello to me and then I’m happy to spend money in their store.

Fantastic experience: disappointed with this purchase. We paid 250 for a florist’s choice arrangement, plus delivery, and sadly it did not feel worth the price. The orchid had several bare stems with very few blooming flowers, which made the arrangement look sparse and unfinished. It was sad to see, especially given the cost and expectations. We expected a fuller, more beautiful display for this price point. Unfortunately, this felt overpriced and misleading. Update: I wanted to update my review. After my original experience, the florist reached out and made an effort to resolve the situation by sending a new arrangement. I truly appreciate the follow-up and the care they took to make things right. The replacement flowers were beautiful, fresh, and much closer to what I had hoped for. Thank you for taking the feedback seriously and working to improve the experience.

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers for my 31 yr old son for Christmas, because last year,when I gave him a present,he said 'Mum, I'd just be happy with flowers'. Because he takes all the different colours of sunflowers seeds to his neighbours (who are envy),so that the whole street is in colour in their front yard.So this year I got him flowers. I couldn't have been more than happy with the flowers he loves and the florist added the Xmas greenery and the red bow! Beautiful. I was very happy as I'm sure he will be!!

Negative experience: Paid $200 for a rose and lily bouquet with a vase (valued at $20). Received the bouquet which had only 3 roses... That's a steep price tag, even on a commercial holiday like Valentine's. Would not recommend a custom order, would consider changing the review if there was some sort of mistake but I have yet to receive a response after contacting them through the website. Update: there was no mistake. $200 is the price tag for a 3x roses and lilies bouquet.

Fantastic experience: T set a specific request due to my wife's Birthday and our 52nd Wedding Anniversary falling in the middle of a long weekend. The result was a potted plant (an impressive Orchid) and a bunch of what appeared to be native flowers in a bunch delivered to our door and surprising my wife as hoped. Excellent service. Great flowers.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service and attention to detail. I called in last minute for a valentines gift for my partner (typical male thing to do) and needed them delivered at a certain time. Now obviously this is my fault and not the business. They weren’t to sure at the start so I let it go, within about 5 minutes of hanging up they called back to tell me they were going to get them sorted asap and sent off straight away. Now if this doesn’t show loyalty I don’t know what else does. Without a doubt the best customer service I’ve encountered in a long time and will forever be grateful. Will definitely be recommending and a regular customer in the future, will just call a day or so earlier next time

I have received numerous arrangements from Tynte Street and Chill Flowers over the years, but this bunch from Semaphore has blown me away… the quality is just amazing !!! Negative experience: So disappointed. What I ordered for my daughter in law is nothing like what she got, plus some flowers were droopy! I'm not one to complain, but this lot of flowers looked shocking!

Fantastic experience: The sympathy flowers we had delivered were even more beautiful than in the reference photo. They were ordered just before midday and were delivered before the end of the day. I’m very happy with the quality and service and will order with Semaphore Flowers again.

The only thing is that I select a certain color of flower because they are my partners favorite color and 2 of the time she got a random bunch. I assume that is because they didn't have the color I wanted in stock. She loved them anyway and that's all that matters. Thank you Semaphore!

Negative experience: I am absolutely appalled with the product. You should be ashamed at the arrangement you sent on my behalf. I’m going to start off by saying that I didn’t want to write a review on google I was going to call and speak to you guys in person but after no one answering the phone after me trying to call several times you have left me no choice. I ordered flowers for my best friends 25th birthday. I asked for a $50 arrangement of some roses and gerberas or if you have some phalaenopsis orchids to send her an orchid. I was charged me additional $10 for delivery. I wasn’t expecting some extravagant arrangement but what she received is a total rip off. Me and my friend both worked as florists together in Melbourne before she moved to Adelaide so we both know what is a decent arrangement of flowers is and how much $50 should look like. She received a “vase” the size of a test tube with one stalk of a phalaenopsis orchid cut off from the plant with only about 3 flower blooms on it, one tiny head of freesia and one small branch of greenery. Firstly I asked for an orchid as in the plant not a flower spike (great way to waste the plant for the rest of the year btw) and secondly how is what looks like the flowers from the cutting bin shoved into a test tube worth $60 of anyone’s money? You have lost what could’ve been a loyal customer as I was looking for a reliable florist in my friends area to send flowers to every anniversary, special occasion and birthday as I am interstate. Well done. If I could’ve given you 0 out of 5 stars I would’ve. No florist should receive a joke as an arrangement on a special birthday.

Fantastic experience: I placed a next day order at 6:30pm. It arrived next day without any issues. I ordered a bright designer’s choice for my mum’s birthday. She loved them and they were beautiful. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Negative experience: Disappointed in flowers received. Carnations in the bouquet (pale pink) where browned and curled, looked dirty and old and died within 5 days. Emailed florist within minutes of receiving the delivery with no response a week later. Have had better flowers from the supermarket

Positive experience: Busy place. Took a long time as I chose to wait. Only wanted bouquet for birth of baby. One was busy taking phone order ( took 20 min) the other doing an order. Have used them before and will again. Reasonably priced. ..

Negative experience: I preordered/paid for flowers for my grandpas funeral. On the day I went to pick up they said they had run out of what I ordered and gave me something different. On the day of the funeral I obviously wasn't in the mood to argue and I needed something for my late grandpa. Preordered, paid and they had my number I see no reason as to why they couldnt call me a day prior to give me the chance to go elsewhere. Not even an offer for refund. I've avoided them ever since, imagine having that pickle on your wedding day!

Negative experience: Have been going there for years and was quite dissapointed for mothers day. Went in and made an arrangement and i clearly stated i didnt want any flowers that have a strong odour or any kind of odour as my dad cant handle the smell and i was reasurred by two staff members that they wont smell. The flowers opened up a couple days later and the odour was so strong we had to put them outside and i called and complained and got nothing from the staff. I was quite dissapointed.

Positive experience: Ordered the night before but didn’t get delivered until 7pm the next day. What arrived was small and not as impressive as the photo on the website. Plus the lilac roses were wilting the same day we got them.

Negative experience: Ordered flowers at 10:00 am to be delivered early afternoon. Called at 3:30 to find they still haven’t been delivered and was assured it would be there. End of the day they were still not delivered, will call tomorrow and see what happened. Not professional, poor service only thing they were good at was as taking my money quickly.
