Fantastic experience: Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day from across the country for local delivery in Vancouver. She loved them and the arrangement was gorgeous. Delivery was on time despite the busy season and the delivery instructions were followed. The online system is easy to use, although it would be nice to get some updates (e.g. if bouquet was made, if it was enroute for delivery, etc) but not a big deal. It seems like the note I provided online was hand written, which is a nice touch. I will definitely order again from this florist and looking forward to visiting their shop in person for another bouquet when I visit Vancouver next!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and wide selection of flowers- they had all the flowers I wanted for my wedding bouquet, and the one that they didn't immediately have on hand, went out of their way to find some for us. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and was more perfect than I imagined. Everyone working at the shop was so sweet and excited to help us with flowers for our elopement. We had looked at many other florists in several cities, and Downtown Florist was the only one who both had all our requested blooms and seemed to actually want to help us! Very highly recommend, and will be buying from them and all special occasions in Vancouver from now on.

Fantastic experience: A joy-filled, heart-warm experience is what the owners of Downtown Florist on Davie Street in Vancouver gave my friend who had just arrived home from hospital. Although it was past mid-afternoon when I phoned, I was assured by Sean (owner along with his wife), that the arrangement I chose would be delivered that afternoon - and it was, along with the addition of extra roses. I also received a photo on my cell phone of the completed arrangement just before it left the store for delivery. As it was in a container with a happy face, it and the flowers warmed my friend's heart and gave her a smile. The owners of Downtown Florist 'went beyond' the norm for me, providing a heartfelt service on short notice, but they also give back to their community, as you can read on their website. I live in White Rock and am so grateful to have been guided to contact them.

Negative experience: Such rude staff I don't even know what happened. Used to be friendly before, in 2024, but after today I never ever will go back. Zero manners, zero greeting, just two old chinese ladies chit chatting and making it look like they're doing you a favour just acknowledging that you want to buy the flowers. Then they don't even offer a packet of food for the flowers. 0 stars, you should learn how to conduct a BASIC LEVEL of customer service! Shame on you.

Negative experience: There are many florists in downtown Vancouver — you really don’t need to choose this one. They turned what was supposed to be a beautiful, joyful birthday surprise into a completely disappointing experience. This shop’s website may look nice, but their service is very unreliable. My order was cancelled last minute twice, wasting my time and ruining the timing of my gift. If you care about your flowers arriving on time, I suggest choosing another florist.

Negative experience: Cancel the order without any explanation, let people miss the best moment, and have been told that there is a problem with texting and calling directly, which is very rude!

Negative experience: Honestly this was my go to place to get flowers for every occasion, but over the last couple times I have visited they’re customer service has really not been what I’ve expected. It sucks because they were my go to shop and now I have to find another one in downtown.

Negative experience: Very rude staff, used to come often, had the worst experience today. Won't be coming back. I was treated like shit and interrupted multiple times. My advice for people reading this is that there are enough flower shops in downtown that you don't need to deal with them. And to the store you guys just missed out on a $200+ sale. And I won't shop with this store anymore.

Negative experience: Rude!!! I was going to buy flowers for my son and brother in-law who had Kidney Transplant today. I decided to walk around the area to have some fresh air, and stumbled to this flower shop, I did not have a vase so I took my phone from my pocket to ask my niece if she can bring me vases. The lady yelled “NO PICTURES! NO PICTURES”! The glare she gave me! The customers can hear her, I FELT so embarassed and humiliated. BEFORE you yell at your customer DO NOT ASSUME that people are taking pictures! Yes I agree your flowers are beautiful but no one is allowed to be treated that way. Instead of me bringing flowers to brighten their day, I walk away with a heavy heart!!! People are going through so much, instead of you coming closer and talking to me, you decided to YELL instead! SHAME ON YOU!

Fantastic experience: While I’m town shooting a film I needed an arrangement that would make a statement for a dear friends’ birthday. I googled the nearest place to where I was staying, looked at photos from their gallery and made the call to Downtown Florist as soon as they opened the next day. THANK GOD, NOT ONLY IS DOWNTOWN FLORIST OPEN 7 DAYS, but Ann! Sweet Ann, the woman who answered the phone, was so patient & enthusiastic about her custom design over the phone that I knew that I contacted the right place! Ann was so thorough with the questions about the person I was purchasing for, and gave suggestions on how to make it even more memorable and impressive! I called at Downtown Florist at 10am as soon as they opened, and Ann had my premium beautiful + massive bouquet ready an hour later! She followed up with a text message photo of the final creation …. which was great, but i immediately realized that it’s really hard to capture the beauty and impact of what I experienced when I saw and smelled this arrangement firsthand. My friend said that this was the most beautiful arrangement that she’s ever seen/recieved and immediately started to tear up, before bursting out in full on tears. “This has to be what I see Oprah give people”, “I’ve never had someone give me anything like this”, were her exact words! Fantastic experience: Yesterday the staff at Downtown Florist called me late in the afternoon to say they had a flower delivery for me (my birthday). I was not home. When asked what time you closed they said 6 yet I was not going to be home until around 6:30…The staff person who called me and your driver went out of your way to make the delivery to me. The driver called and I was on way home and he waited 10 mins for me. Unbelievable customer service. Please let your driver know how much I appreciated it and that I am enjoying the beautiful flowers.

Negative experience: The bunch from outside was 12.99. The ones from inside were 15.99 because they were not outside. It sounds a joke, but it’s what i’ve been said. I even said that, and the lady inside laughed at me. I was thinking out loud when paying the 12.99, repeating myself “this is a joke, it can’t be”. The lady said I also had the option to not buy it and just leave the store. Sad true for me, but i needed the flowers. I should’ve stayed loyal to my neighborhood flower shop. 2 starts because they have a lot of options, but bad customer service.
