Negative experience: I went to Zingaro again because the first time was ohhh, nice I thought everything comes from Italy but it doesn’t So, some items shouldn’t be too expensive The second time I didn’t care for the girls service and attitude It’s a big no from me A young girl didn’t get her name and sort of gothic looking, best way to describe her Tall, thin and rude!!! Shame on the owner for charging high prices for NOT made in Italy

Fantastic experience: I came in on a slow rainy day drawn in by the perfume and the woman there walked me through each one, describing the scent and the intent and story behind them. I was torn between two and while I ended up with one, I came back the next day to remember the other so that I'll be ready to pick it up next time I'm in Victoria. Wonderful space and experience.

Fantastic experience: Zingaro is one of my favourite shops to visit. The shop is adorned with exquisite flowers, scents, jewelry with a flare, journals with unique papers, books of poetry and unique treasures. A must when you are in Victoria!

Negative experience: Unfortunately the scent and quality of the perfumes to sample are not the same quality as what you purchase. The scent i purchase varies quite a bit compared to sample, and the scent fades quickly, as compared to the in-store sample. The cost of the perfume is $200 or more, I would expect the quality to match, which Unfortunately it does not. The staff are all very lovely and welcoming, and the shopping experience was nice. The product Unfortunately does not match the quality customer service

More than a perfumery, it’s a beautifully curated worldpart fragrance sanctuary, part gift shop, part home and floral atelier. Every corner feels intentional, romantic, and quietly magical. The scents are stunning across the boardthoughtful, artistic, and transportivebut Crypt is the one that truly stole my heart. It smells ancient and familiar at the same time, like stone walls, incense, memory, and something sacred you’ve known before but can’t quite place. Wearing it feels like stepping into another time, another life. Zingaro is not just a place to shopit it's a place to experience. If you love perfume, beauty, and objects that carry soul and story, this shop is an absolute must when visiting Victoria.

Fantastic experience: I purchased Sentiero Santo parfum and I am totally in love with the scent. It stays on all day and is very unique, I’ve never had anything close to it before. Loved their other fragrances but this one will be with me for life!

Fantastic experience: We ran into this store in Victoria, BC, while visiting from California. The perfumes are all so beautiful and unique. I couldn’t help myself and purchased two, Bohemia Roseto and Villa Irlanda. I don’t have the words to explain how incredible it is to spray these perfumes on me. The scents stay on all day long. Love this store. I want to visit Victoria again just so I can step into the magical and fantastic Zingaro once again.

Fantastic experience: This store is truly amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Angele. My mom and I were visiting for the weekend, so our time was limited, and I ended up returning to this store TWICE, which says a lot haha. I found a gift for my current boyfriend, who I had a crush on at the time. There were many different journals with quotes on the covers, and I couldn't choose which one to buy for him. I shared a brief story with Angele about how we met and the situation my boyfriend and I were in, and she helped me pick the perfect quote! I was also concerned about ink bleeding through the pages, so she took out her own personal journal that she purchased from the store and let me write in it to check for bleed-through. She then wrapped the journal beautifully in black paper, added a sticker from the store, and tied it all together with lovely string. Exceptional customer service! Angele, I can't express how much I appreciate your help. I will definitely be back in the future :)

Fantastic experience: Treat yourself to a magical botanical experience! Zingaro scents and floral arrangements are not like anything else in Victoria. I have been wearing Palma's incredible fragrances and skin care products for years now, and it is always a treat to replenish my stash. Her artistry is next level.

When you enter you truly feel like you have entered the spiritual world and here you will find a magical ferry ( mine was called Lauren) that will guide you through the process of connecting with the scent of your soul. Take your time to enjoy the journey and once you connect to it and find it PLEASE do a favor to the 3D world and let its beings enjoy that scent in this physical world! Because I am a 2 spirit individual, this place helped me find both: Requiem and Violetta today represent the scent of the divine union of my soul ☀️

Fantastic experience: Incredible, artisan aromatics, curated by charismatic and knowledgeable staff with world-class experience, in an intimate, boutique setting. My wife was given an olfactory tour of the entire collection by a charming attendant with an adorable Irish accent, and eventually settled on a particularly alluring lotion and oil combo set to take home with her, labeling it the aroma that will forever remind her of our visit to Victoria. They say that scent is the most powerful sense tied to memory, so I am sure this will prove to be true, for the both of us, for years to come!

Fantastic experience: Walking into this shop took me to another dimension. The curated items were beautifully coordinated and created a sense of peace and inspiration. I purchased essential oils for diffusing and a beautiful artisanal perfume that I learned is created right here… with pure botanicals. Even after a shower the scent lingers on my skin. There was a man working who perhaps was an owner i am not sure but he spoke to me enthusiastically about the business and showed me a book on the history of purfumes and whatnot. He was so nice to speak with and really cared genuinely about the business. I love this place. I will return when i can plan better and budget to purchase some lovely things.

Future brides and grooms - if you want florals that are absolutely gorgeous, meaningful and unique Zingaro is 100% the right choice! They are so skilled and knowledgeable, I had no idea what I wanted and with just a colour scheme, photos of the venue and photos of my dress they designed the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding. They knew exactly what stems and combination of arrangements would work to create the perfect floral design. On top of florals and homewares, the owner makes gorgeous oil based perfumes that are long wearing (one spritz in the morning lasts all day) without the harsh chemical aspect of traditional alcohol based perfumes, and for a very reasonable price for the quality. Perfect for wearing around people who are sensitive to scent, as it remains personal on your skin without wafting around to others. The owner was amazing at assisting myself and my friends with finding the perfect scent for each of us.
