Spent a decent amount expecting quality, but the flowers arrived looking average at best and were completely dead within a week—despite proper care.The lilies arrived closed, which I expected, but they never even bloomed just wilted and died within days. Clearly not fresh when sent. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. Won’t be ordering again.

Fantastic experience: Update: I have used Marlene's on a few occasions now and they have always provided great service and really beautiful bouquets. The flowers are always fresh and smell wonderful. They have been given as gifts and the recipients always comment just how much they love the flowers and how beautifully tied they are. Most recent order was a short notice florists' choice bouquet to collect the same day in the shop. My chosen colours were even catered to which I hadn't expected on such short notice. Cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: **UPDATE** This is my 5th time using Marlene's in the past 2 years. Last week I ordered flowers for my friend who recently got home from the hospital. She received her flowers the same day and she was thrilled with them. Living in the US with family and friends still in Glasgow, it is comforting to know I have a florist I can rely on to send beautiful flower arrangements. I don't need to worry about whether the flowers are going to please. Thank you once again Marlene's. You are definitely my go to florist. Marlene's had done such an amazing job on my brother's funeral spray this week. When it came time to send flowers to my cousin, and my friend, to thank them for arranging my brother's funeral, as I am in the States, I knew exactly where I would order from. The flowers arrived when I asked, and they were simply stunning! Both recipients were thrilled and delighted. Both said they are beautiful, and they are. Thanks again Marlene's!

Fantastic experience: Staff were very friendly and relaxed. Help was given at all stages if needed and options and prices were very clear. Flowers were delivered on time in perfect condition and even more beautiful than the brochure pictures. Fantastic experience: What can I say, if your needing a florist you'll struggle to find one as good as these guys. I come every year to get peony roses for my partner as it is her favourite flower and so happens to be in season once a year. This year I called up and rachel informed me of the price which was much higher than last year (much like everything else) however she advised me to wait and call her back in a few weeks. I took her advice called back and the price had fallen to a more reasonable price per stem. When collection came she was not happy with the quality of the product that she had been given from her supplier, she insisted that I take the original ones FREE of charge and as a sorry even provided me with something extra to take to my partner. Furthermore, she told me that I should come back in a few hours to collect new ones as she had sent someone specially to the market. I have provided some pictures of the different flowers. Rachel's knowledge, customer service and professionalism is second to none. I couldn't recommend the team at Marlene's flowers enough. I'll see you next year. Cam

I had to go with the florists choice due to the timing, and opted for a bright, scented bunch, to be delivered in a vase for an agreed, and price. I needn't have worried as the recipient said the flowers were the most beautiful she had received. Thank you so much for making it happen, and for making the whole purchase a happy and rewarding experience for all. I would happily recommend you to others.

Positive experience: Flowers were lovely but didn't arrive on time. So no flowers for the funeral. Instead they were sitting outside the house when the family got home. I tried to get in touch with them by email but did not get a response. So if you want flowers early in the morning, I would not recommend using this company.

The flowers we received were stunning, from the extra large spray to the separate posy and love heart. The colours were so beautiful and vibrant, all different shades of pink and whites. Fantastic experience: Marlene's flowers provided the flowers for our wedding at the Bowfield Hotel on 1st November 2023. We could not have been more delighted with how they turned out. We got shower bouquet for the bride, two handheld bouquet for the bridesmaids, corsages for the mother's, button holes for the gents and an arch. All the colours and the arrangements were exactly as we had envisioned. The arch was simply stunning. Fantastic experience: The best bouquet of flowers l have ever received. After keeping them in the box for a week, after cutting them back l then put them into two vases. Another change of water after a week then cut them back to one vase. They lasted just over four weeks amazing.

Delivered Friday, I don't want to hurt her feelings and tell her never to use them again but I will find away. Roses the petals are falling off, hang your head in shame l have just had a reply from you 9 months late 8/9/22 saying it was my fault the flowers where left out of water. Fantastic experience: Had a consultation with Rachael on Saturday 25th June. Marlene’s is the package florist for our wedding venue so we weren’t really sure what to expect. Rachael was fantastic and took great care in explaining everything included and worked with our budget to ensure we could have the additional pieces we wanted at a very fair price. She understood what was important to us and what wasn’t. There was no strong arming or upsell just because it’s for a wedding-something that sadly happens often in the wedding industry. The condition of the flowers in store looked great and we were given little ‘samples’ of the foliage we would have at the wedding which is a lovely touch. I would also add that arranging the time and date for the consultation couldn’t have been easier, with Ryan responding promptly to emails and a fast pick up when I called on the morning of the appt to confirm our appt time. This all gives me great confidence in their professionalism and look forward to seeing our flowers on the day. Thanks, Jade and Gregory.

Fantastic experience: Marlene's was recommended to me by a florist who let me down at the last minute on a Saturday morning due to delivery problems, I left the choosing of the bouquet to the very pleasant lady I spoke to on the phone, upon visiting my sister who was very pleased with the flowers I must say the florist's choice of flowers and the arrangement was lovely, I was very pleased and would certainly use her again when the situation for flowers arises, Thank you so much you saved my day :-)

Fantastic experience: Ordered sympathy flowers for my sister-in-laws mother's passing. Rachel advised that I'd selected what they might have suggested themselves and it was reassuring to know I'd chosen the most apt product. Sister-in-law was very touched and also very impressed with the tasteful, beautiful and plentiful bouquet which arrived in water - no hunt for a large vase was required. Between low stocks and staff shortage i think I called nearly every florist in Glasgow... When I got through to Marlenes they were amazing.
