Negative experience: My partner just gave me these flowers. He was charged £15! He mentioned to the florist that it didn’t seem so much for the money so she said she would wrap them nicely to make them look better. This entailed some brown paper and a bit of raffia twine. These are the cheapest chrysanthemums and they are limp, sparse and on their way out. Absolutely disgusting attitude and an unmitigated rip off. I will be returning them tomorrow. Do not go here!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never pre ordered flowers for Mother’s Day before, so had no clue what I was doing. But the girls in the flower shop made it so easy. They really took the time to go through different options with me… flowers, colour palette… and purse strings. They made me feel so at ease. And true to their word, the bouquet my mum received today was stunning! She was over the moon!!! And at her door by 10am… probably woke the lady up hahaha. Thank you ladies! Really boosted those brownie points!!!

Fantastic experience: Ordered a bouquet for my very fussy partner to be delivered on Valentine's Day. She was blown away by the quality and size of the blooms. Valentine's was a great success. And they kept her smiling for over a fortnight, much better quality and longevity than supermarket or cheaper jobs, worth every penny. Was passing today so went in to sort early Mother's Day flowers for my Mum; I was blown away by the displays and selection on offer, the effort put into the window speaks volumes and worth a little trip on its own! The friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff sent me away a very happy customer with a bespoke bouquet for a unique woman and a cacti for my office. Good Job!!

Fantastic experience: The Flower Shop supplied the flowers for my daughter’s wedding. Lucy was friendly and took time to listen to our ideas. She made good and helpful suggestions. For environmental sustainability reasons, we are a big fan of hand tied bouquets, which can continue to be be enjoyed after a funeral - The Flower Shop provide us with stunning arrangements, always true to what we ask for. We are continually grateful.

Fantastic experience: They make beautiful flower arrangements. The choice of plants and pots not that big, but better than several others I visited and I managed to find what I wanted. Nicely gift wrapped. I hope they stay open. Two other already closed on Gloucester Road.

Fantastic experience: We are so thrilled that we used the Flower shop to provide flowers for our wedding. They provided our bouquets, buttonholes, as well as church decorations, (archways, pedestals, pew ends, lich gate garlands), and venue decor (centrepieces, stairway statement piece, pedestals, long and low arrangement). Lucy was amazing from start to finish, from our first consultation she really cared and put the effort in to get to know us as a couple to create bespoke personalised flowers perfect for our wedding day. We can't thank her enough for all her hard work and vision. On the day, the flowers were beautiful and were better than we could have imagined, complimenting our venues and bridesmaid aesthetic perfectly. Everyone commented on how amazing the bouquets were, and even asked to take centrepiece arrangements home afterwards so they could continue to enjoy them! Negative experience: Rude and overpriced during Mother’s Day, used to be a favourite, but not with the outing the prices up 250% and a very rude service puts you off!

Negative experience: I contacted the flower shop to request a small bouquet for my wife. Staff were extremely rude and condescending over the phone. I was made to feel my (simple) request was unreasonable and aggressively upsold. Reading others reviews suggest this is a securing pattern of behaviour. I would not recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: So. What can I say…… I needed a dozen red roses for valentines day for my fiancé. It was very good price and I was happy to pay. The nice lady woman wrapped it up and included a hand drawn card with the deal. What more can I say? My relationship didn't work out and I am no longer engaged but that is not the Flower Shop’s fault. If i find love again, I know where I am going for my valentines roses……….. What more can I say?

Fantastic experience: I first came across Lucy and the fabulous flower shop when I attended one of her wreath making workshops last Christmas (something I'll be sure to book on to again this year, what I brought home was amazing...I have zero skill but Lucy guided me in making a truly beautiful Christmas wreath). From this wonderful experience me and my fiancé decided to use Lucy and her team to design the flowers for our wedding. The service and final flowers that we received were just wonderful. Lucy runs a fun and dynamic team who clearly know what they are talking about when it comes to floral design. I couldn't be happier with their contribution to our special day, 10/10 so pleased I came across this gem x

Fantastic experience: I made an order online for red roses, sadly by the time they got the order they were sold out. But had 1 or 2, I wish I remembered the ladies name that assisted! Because for same day delivery she made the most beautiful bouquet that made the recievers day. Beautifully arranged, called to discuss options and went more than the extra mile

Fantastic experience: After a google of florists these stood out to me walked in seen all the sights! Great selection of flowers on display and to choose from. I asked for a large bouquet and didn't specify what to put in it , explained that it was a for a loss of a pet and the lady was really sympathetic and chatty and made a amazing bouquet for me whilst I waited. Great shop with super friendly and attentive staff this is why you should support local small businesses I drove from the other side of bristol to come here and I'm soo glad I did and you should too !

Negative experience: Rude and openly hostile if you dare have your own opinion or suggest changes to their bouquets. After I politely suggested a few improvements, they suddenly raised the price without explanation. Dishonest and unethical business practices. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I have bought several bouquets from The Flower Shop and they have all been spectacular. Excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Best flower shop I have ever used.

Negative experience: I used this shops online service today to send best wishes to my friend. The picture of the Forest Fruits looked just what I wanted as it had a balanced finesse to the display . However I was deeply saddened and disappointed after spending over £60 with them. The flowers and display was nothing like the picture. There were supposed to be beautiful ferns, a few medium sized roses , delicately places thistles, and lush greenery. Instead there was a huge amount of chrysanthemums which I dislike and one reason I chose this was because it didn’t have any shown. Also My friend doesn’t like Chrysanthemums as well. But they put far far too many Chrysanthemums!!! There was no finesse in the display and was at best a “ chunky bunch “ with only 2 orange pink roses stuck in the middle even no red roses. It was terrible!!! I definitely will not be using them again and would give them a score of 1 out of 5 , and I’m extremely disappointed. Just see the picture below , Picture 1 is the original picture on website , Picture 2 is what my friend received. Totally different nothing is similar with the website picture!! So So Disappointed!!!!

Negative experience: Still awaiting an apology after ringing me up having a go at me and demanding I get my partner to remove her honest review of the poor flowers you supplied. I understand you’re passionate about your business, but treating a customer like that is absolutely unacceptable. Just goes to show your lack of respect for your customers. You messed up, own it, learn from it and move on.

Fantastic experience: I bought some fantastic flowers for my mother-in law. Speedy delivery and very long lasting flowers! Great quality for money.

Positive experience: Ordered online, the flowers were nowhere near as nice as the photo on the website. I would not have paid £75 if I saw them in store.

Negative experience: My husband bought me a bunch of flowers for our one month anniversary after getting married (cute). The flowers what arrived were really pretty but, when I bought them in the water they were sat in was brown and mucky (like they have been sat in it for a week already) some of the petals have already fallen off and you can see that most of the flowers were starting to turn. Within a day you can see that they were starting to die. it wasn't a hot day and I removed them from the dirty water immediately. When my husband emailed them they said flowers are suppose to look like that (petal-less??) they did offer to send out another bunch but when they arrived it was 7 stems in total of just purple daisies and a few lilies. And that was suppose to make up for the poor quality we received first time? Honestly I bought some flowers for my friend in Aldi on the weekend for £7.99 they were far superior and better variety. He won't be buying from your company again. Edit: after posting this very honest and truthful review my husband received a call from the flower shop demanding that he tells me to remove it or they would come to my house and have it out with me and take back the replacement bunch back. Also said the girl who chucked the second bunch together cried and was offended by being compared to Aldi sorry but that wasn’t a comparison the flowers I got from Aldi was far superior and was actually presented correctly. Being told I don’t know what flowers are suppose to look like and you put 2 lilies in there because I should know what they are is rather patronising and highly unprofessional. Look, I get it everyone has off days we are human but to say flowers are suppose to arrive dead, sitting in old water and petal less then the replacement was basic shows a lack of skill or caring. The daisies are at the end of my drive you can collect them whenever you want (you have ruined the loving jester my husband has done) but if you enter my driveway I will call the police, I will not be threatened over a truthful review!

Lovely people who are willing to help. I love that you can turn up and make your own bouquet of flowers or you can pre order it. Fantastic experience: The flowers here are incredible. Lyndi, Lucy, Emma and Georgie kindly did the flowers for our wedding and created the most beautiful flowers I could ever wish for. White wild meadow vibes bursting out of crates, milk churns and different heights of jam jars and bottles and then also strung along the mezanine balcony. Lyndi even kindly picked up my cake, took it to the venue and decorated it. The team were so lovely and helpful throughout the wedding planning and had loads of ideas and solutions. They knew exactly what they were doing I felt very confident just leaving them to it which one less thing to worry about in the pre wedding maddness. So many people kept commenting on the day about how beautiful the flowers were it was the perfect mix of wild looking but also looking expensive and chic! Thankyou so much ladies we will forever be grateful :)

Fantastic experience: I contacted Lyndi@ Flower Shop when my Son found a Man U Floral Tribute online and wanted it copied for his best friends funeral. I sent Lyndi a picture and she advised she could help. When the hearse arrived, my Son and I peered through the window and were stunned by what we saw. Fantastic experience: I had a difficulty to find a florist shop in the central Bristol. I with my fiancée went to St.Nicholas market hoping to find one. We popped in a shop selling the plants and souvenirs. We received a helpful tip to go to Gloucester Road and find The Flower Shop. So we did. Lucy was friendly and give us the useful tips. I had my wonderful white Calais lilies bouquet delivered to my hotel room a couple hours before our wedding registration at Bristol Registry Office. Excellent service!

Negative experience: My partner bought me flowers and asked for sunflowers and a few other flowers to compliment. He was give no sunflowers and the flowers he was given looked tired and some buds hadnt not bloomed and haven't since.

I called from Australia to arrange several sympathy arrangement for my Grandmother due to the recent passing of my Grandfather. The service was compassionate and the communication was seamless. Emma listened to what I was hoping for and delivered the 6 goregous arrangements a few hours after my call. My Grandmother said they were the most beautiful flowers she has ever seen.

Negative experience: I have pre-order flowers from this florist and ended up going home extremely disappointed. The bouquet was absolutely overpriced and from the customer service perspective the women with dark hair was enormously incompetent and rude. Will never buy from this shop again. Price quality ratio totally low and I don't recommend this florist at all. This shop and bouquets are absolutely a joke. I recommend a florist in Filton called Cala's Flowers. The woman there is highly competent, friendly and I basically get what I pay for.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. The lady who answered the phone was very dismissive and rude. I asked for peach blossoms and she asked “what kind of peach blossoms?” And I said “that’s exactly what they're called” and she sarcastically said “no darling we don’t do that never heard of it and hang up”. If you’re the one who’s answering phone calls then I’d expect to be given some direction and probably someone with knowledge on flowers would be great too I don’t expect you to know everything but a quick google search would of been helpful as I’ve been to your shop before and you do have these flowers, if you didn’t you could of recommended me something similar perhaps. If you can’t be bothered which you clearly weren’t then give the job to someone else no one is pointing a gun to your head!
