Negative experience: I tried to place an order to pick up on Friday. This place called me and said I had to pick up Thursday (after already paying.) I asked if the flowers would last until Saturday and they assured me they would. When I went to pick up on Thursday they didn’t have my order and made me wait a half hour so I could make a new one. The flowers then wilted within a day. Do not shop here. They basically stole $90 from me. Based on their response to my original comment I would like to add a few more things. 1.) Why would they sell me flowers under the assurance they would last more than 48 hours if they were going to wilt within a day. 2.) How on earth do they keep track of how long customers are in their store??

Negative experience: I went through Flordel twice, but the third time was a major disappointment. They called in the early morning asking for me to send photo ID through text message to verify who I am for flowers. 1) I called 3 other spots, and they said they never heard of requiring photo ID for delivering flowers. 2) The other two times I sent flowers they NEVER asked me for photo ID either. I sucked it up though and asked over the phone if I could send my student ID over; to which the lady on the phone said yes. I sent it immediately then left to take a shower and low and behold the order is cancelled. If you needed GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID, you could have just clarified that instead of lying to my face. I really did like this place, but customer service has gone downhill.

The arrangement fully matches our DoorDash last-minute offer for a dozen roses with a “Happy Birthday” topper. The only noticeable difference may be due to photo quality or lighting, not the product itself.

Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid this place at all costs. These are the flowers I got vs what I ordered. This place is a joke. Owner should find a job where he does not need to interact with any other humans, he is not fit for human interaction.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! They sent a YELLOW bouquet for a VALENTINES day order.. instead of the advertised white and pink ones that I ordered. They also forgot to add the note that I requested. The store owner was INCREDIBLY rude when I brought this up. If the business owner is reading this, I will be reaching out to a family member at the State's Division of Consumer Protection to see what can be done to prevent other people from dealing with such unprofessionalism and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Maybe think before being rude, denying YOUR mistakes and offering no reconciliation.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS SHOP. I was trying to find a place that could provide some festive balloons for my toddler's birthday at a reasonable price (with a decent amount of variety), and this place delivered on all fronts! Once I walked in, the nice man at the counter was warm, friendly, and eager to show me all the potential options. He was quick to fill my balloons with helium, and he warned me about how to hold them, to keep them away from high doorways, and to let me know to expect the balloons to look deflated outside in the cold, but that they'd perk up again once indoors and in warmth. The helium lasted in these balloons for over a MONTH! The prices were very reasonable; for the number balloons with helium, the cost was $11, and the prices for the other balloons vary depending on type with helium, but all prices are way below what you'd expect for Manhattan, and definitely LES! I first came last year, and then I came back for a second time just today for my daughter's birthday balloons this year. I love this business and hope they keep going strong! If only all customer service could be as kind, friendly, and helpful as these guys are!

Negative experience: I followed the instructions on the website, which said to include the custom ribbon text in the delivery instructions section. I did exactly that, but the ribbon arrived with their own default wording instead of what I requested. I also added a personalized message in the note section, and that didn’t come through either. It feels pointless to offer customization if the company doesn’t actually include what the customer asks for especially with the prices they charge. I was highly disappointed and frustrated with this experience Response back Thank you for responding, but I need to clarify why I was disappointed. Regardless of the order being last-minute, the arrangement I received did not reflect what I requested or what was advertised. If certain customizations were not possible, that should have been clearly communicated before the order was processed not after the fact. Timely delivery is important, but so is delivering what the customer actually paid for. The lack of transparency made the experience frustrating, and the final product did not justify the price. I hope your team improves communication moving forward so customers know exactly what they can expect, especially when the design ends up noticeably different from what was ordered.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to send my daughter flowers as a surprise for her birthday and I was in a hurry and stupidly ordered from FTD. Big mistake. Long story, but they were unable to deliver twice over two days. I then called Flordel, which is local to my daughter’s apartment and they were able to deliver a lovely arrangement the same day. Negative experience: SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! OVERPRICED FOR TERRIBLE QUALITY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a large bouquet of roses as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. I spent over $300 and tipped both the driver and company for the order. My girlfriend received the roses and within hours they had already drooped over and appeared to be dying. The photos that I attached below are hours after receiving the bouquet on the same day.We followed step by step instructions when it came to flower care immediately after receiving them and nothing improved. After reaching out to display our concerns, the company tried offering a small discount on a future order. Why would I want to order from them again after receiving such a poor order in the first place? They told us that they would reach back out with a solution/compensation for our order. It's been over a week later and they never sent anything. Also, after looking at social media, their pages displayed multiple videos that show disrespect and negligence towards the customers. This business is very unprofessional and seems to be run by a bunch of teenagers through a hole in the wall. Safe to say I will not be ordering again.

Negative experience: These photos were taken 2 and a half days after the delivery was made. I spent $150 dollars on this bouquet including delivery. Though they look worse in these images than they did upon delivery, they also did not look great at the time of delivery. Nearly half of the flowers were already wilted around the edges. The dahlias were supposed to be all one color (red/orange). The florist reached out and let me know they were out of dahlias and they expected more the next day but were unsure what colors they would receive. I said any color was fine, but was still a bit disappointed that they were unable to fulfill the request of them being all one color. Overall I am very disappointed. A couple days later and the flowers look nearly dead. Even the recipient reached out to me to let me know how poor of a condition they were in. When I reached out to the company they offered me a 7% refund, and said I could get an additional 7% off a future order. I find this to be quite an insufficient response. Their reason for not offering more was because I reached out after 24 hours from when the delivery was made. Pretty lousy excuse when you can clearly see how awful these flowers look just a few days later. Total waste of $150…

Because of this, we generally do not offer specific color selections for last-minute dahlia orders, as availability can vary.
Please note that the dahlias in your order came from fresh shipments received the day before and on the morning of your delivery. As outlined in our delivery policy, we can accept complaints within 24 hours of delivery, as we cannot guarantee environmental conditions such as room temperature and water quality after that time.

Negative experience: What we ordered versus what we got. Old wilted flowers. Barely resembling the website photo. But the shocking part isn’t the terrible quality for $215, nor the misrepresentation (the website says “as shown”) - but their response to us flagging this was extremely rude and dismissive.

We’d also like to clarify that the flowers used in your order came from fresh shipments received on Monday and the day prior to your delivery. We are confident in their quality and longevity, which should become clear in the days following delivery.

Fantastic experience: So very accessible and flexible!!! Wonderful to deal with. Only issue was I misunderstood the “number balloons” line and put in 10 (I thought meaning how many balloons but had clicked on the picture of age of 40) So my son has “10” instead of “40” on the balloons. Negative experience: Their website sucks. Any other company automatically tells you what’s in stock and what’s not on their website. They want you to call ahead to see if they have it in stock first … if that’s the case why don’t I just place the order through the phone instead of using your website. I ordered flowers through their website and they called me right away to say they are not in stock. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days (today is Friday) for my money back.

Negative experience: Terrible! I called earlier in the afternoon to place an order and was told by a young lady to come to the store. I asked what time they closed and was told 9 PM. I traveled all the way from Brooklyn and arrived around 7:15 PM. When I walked in, a Hispanic man with a terrible blonde mohawk was helping a white woman — smiling warmly, laughing, and providing great service. But once he finished with her, he ran right past me without so much as a “hello” or “how can I help you?” Just a cold stare, like I was a problem for even walking in. I told him I needed to purchase some roses, and he immediately shut me down with, “Oh no, I can’t — I have an order for 100 roses.” I explained that I had called earlier and was specifically told to come in. He sucked his teeth, kept working on the bouquet he was making, then lazily asked, “What color?” I gave him the colors I was looking for, and without a word, he yanked open the fridge and pulled out a bunch of old, drooping roses — petals literally falling off. I asked if he could use fresher ones since they were for my niece’s graduation, and he rolled his eyes, tossed the old ones back, and said, “That’s all we have,” even though I could clearly see fresher roses in the fridge behind him. He just didn’t want to bother. I’m not one to leave reviews, but as someone who manages a business myself, this kind of customer service is unacceptable. It was disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I wasted time and money traveling to this establishment just to be treated with attitude and disregard. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated like that, especially when they’re walking in to spend their hard-earned money. He should not be running your establishment and should not be in any customer service! Despicable, just like his hair.

However, when it comes to personalized or custom-made floral arrangements, it’s common sense that if the designer you want is already busy, you may have to wait—just like you would at a barber or a tailor. If someone is working on a time-sensitive project, you don’t interrupt and demand immediate service.

In this case, I was working on an urgent order of 1,000 roses that had already been paid for and needed to be completed by 10 PM. I clearly communicated that I wasn’t able to take custom requests at that time, but I did offer help with our ready-to-go arrangements. Lady you mentioned also got a premade bouquet.

We take great pride in our craft and the effort we put into each order. Dismissing that work or showing disrespect—towards the store or myself as the owner—is something we will not tolerate. We believe mutual respect is key in any customer relationship.

Negative experience: I’m a big flower lover. I get weekly arrangements for my apartment. Fiordel used to be the to-go place for affordable ok quality flowers. Now they decided to double/triple their prices but kept the deli-quality flowers. The arrangements are very standard. For the same price you could get a high quality designer bouquet. If they want to keep those high prices they should provide quality that matches those prices.
