Negative experience: DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE. Ordered flower delivery for Valentine’s Day, and this place delivered my flowers over an hour early when my recipient wasn’t home to pick them up. They then told me they would come back at the right time slot to the deliver the flowers, which they never ended up doing. If you want timely, reliable flower delivery, choose somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: An incredible place to drink your coffee while your mind bathes in the immense energy of this place in the plant kingdom.

Fantastic experience: As a sheep of refined palate and questionable self-control, I must commend PlantShed for crafting a bouquet so divine it barely made it through the photo session before I devoured it. The anemones were delectably tender — velvety petals with a faint note of sunrise dew and heartbreak (pairs beautifully with a morning bleat). The hydrangeas offered a crisp snap, almost like biting into spring itself, while the ranunculus added a subtle crunch reminiscent of clouds lightly toasted by sunshine. A bold inclusion of cymbidiums provided a refreshing, almost spa-like finish that lingered delightfully on the tongue. Presentation? Impeccable. Flavor? Transcendent. Regret? Minimal — though I do wish I’d shared a petal or two with the flock before inhaling the entire arrangement. Five stars. Would graze again.

Fantastic experience: The arrangement we ordered was timely and gorgeous. It included hydrangeas, which are notoriously quick to wilt, but the whole arrangement lasted about 10 days. We did keep it cool and change the water regularly. We will use Plant Shed again.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at PlanShed on 95th and Amsterdam. I came in ready to spend $200–$300 on two bouquets, but the staff were unhelpful in putting something together, slow to respond, and not friendly. There was no real effort to go out of their way or simply be helpful in creating a nice bouquet. Given both the poor service and the lost opportunity, I don’t plan on returning

Fantastic experience: Wow! Best customer service I've received in years! Can't recommend them enough. They bent over backwards to make a delivery that had an address error (on my part), then security protocols that just made their jobs hard. They accomplished it with a great attitude going above and beyond what I ever would habe expected. Thank you, PlantShed!

Fantastic experience: I was looking specifically for the Birken Philodendron and did a search in NYC, this shop popped up. When I went both happily and surprisingly they had the plant and many more healthy plants, ambiance is absolutely peaceful. Flowers and coffee and nice staff

Fantastic experience: I’m not sure when I became a PlantShed connoisseur, but I’ve frequented the Kith location and the one on Prince/Bowery. This one has a very welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. Very clean bathroom as well! ☀️For some reason coffee shops are not stocking Soy Milk these days, but I can always trust a Plant shed location to have it. They use an organic brand too which I love!

Negative experience: Edit: What a disappointing response from the owner, but thank you for reminding me to give long overdue love to shops that deserve it. A preface of sugary sweet words wrapped up with a threat. A simple apology and a little accountability would have sufficed for me to upgrade this review and give them another chance. I will absolutely not support this chain in the future, and I encourage you to do the same. Downgraded to one star. ------ I'm a floral designer & and garden consultant for a luxury landscape architecture firm in Manhattan. I was in the neighborhood this afternoon, so I thought I'd check PlantShed out for the first time and get flowers to design a 'thank you' bouquet for my friends. The etiquette is unclear, so I wasn't sure if I could grab flowers from the fridge myself. I patiently waited and attempted to get help for about fifteen minutes, but I was avoided by every employee I encountered. In the end, I gave up. The vibe I got was very strange, so out of curiosity, I checked out GlassDoor reviews. After reading those reviews, the vibe made sense, and I'd hesitate to support this chain in the future. The quality of the flowers and houseplants is mid to low and commonly found anywhere else. The only thing special I found here is boutique pricing. I'd highly recommend getting your flowers and houseplants elsewhere. Please support a local florist or plant shop instead. You'll get better quality, prices, selection, expertise, and experience. I'm giving two stars because I found some of the pottery to be pretty and the overall cleanliness to be above average.

Negative experience: I asked for a plastic plant pot, but they say they don't sell any, strange.Yet they have a whole slew of plants in plastic pots .I guess they are just not interested in making a sale

Negative experience: We stopped by to get some plants for our office. It was a bad customer experience. No one greeted us or offered any assistance. When we did ask for help, they made us feel like they didn’t have time or interest in speaking to us.

Negative experience: Rating this location 0 stars if I could, my partner always gets me bouquets from Plantshed. Yesterday, he got me a yellow bouquet and just a few hours later they slowly began to die. I’m extremely disappointed as their bouquets are costly and I’m more than positive every flower is not $2 to $3. Rather purchase from Trader Joe’s as they last up to 2 weeks.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful young lady helped me out. Beautifully arranged the flowers I asked for. (Very large and heavy bouquet) She helped me pick out a simple vase. Everything went well together. I got home and put everything together, candles, bouquet, my small letter. Husband absolutely loved it. Claimed no one ever gave him flowers before. Obviously I said I have brought you flowers is the past but this is by far the LARGEST bouquet I've given you. I enjoyed every minute at the plant shed. The young lady was absolutely wonderful to work with.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at this flower/coffee shop. Had a Matcha iced latte and my boys vanilla iced latte. The service was great and it was such a treat to have our drinks surrounded by the plants and flowers. Thank you Maria, Anthony and the lovely young lady that made our drinks. Negative experience: Placed an order for a sympathy basket to be delivered between 9am and 5pm which is already a ridiculously broad window for a hand delivery. Countless businesses in New York give at least a morning window or afternoon window. And what do you know it’s 5 and I did not receive my order. I’m already upset for the person I am getting the basket for and now this has ruined my day further. Don’t offer services if you can’t honor them. Sick of this. EDIT: I had a heated exchange over the phone where the agent told me that “5.30 or 5.45 is 5” which says everything. I’ve agreed to wait another 30 minutes.

Positive experience: I’m hesitant to give this 3 stars because the barista in the suit was that terrible, a lot of attitude because I asked for extra ice in my iced cortado and was just not pleasant the whole time. But the lovely girl on the flower side, jade, smiling and super friendly. Update: Red is a wonderful barista all around, makes amazing drinks with a beautiful energy

Positive experience: Great variety of fresh flowers. There are pre-made bouquets as well as selections for a personalized bouquet that you can pick out and they will wrap for you. Flowers were very fresh with a variety of colors and styles. I would highly recommend that you go and pick out your bouquet in person. My only disappointment is that I preordered instead, and both the bouquets on display and personalized selections looked miles better and more extravagant than what I had pre-ordered. I would definitely come back and buy flowers again, but would only do so from the selection the day of.

Fantastic experience: I received a farewell bouquet from here gifted by amazing coworkers. They requested something “beautiful with a lot of color” and that is exactly what this florist created. Thank you to whichever employee crafted this bouquet. It has made me smile every time I look at it and gets more and more beautiful by the day (these double roses are outrageous!)

Negative experience: Would not recommend using their delivery service. Received two different responses when inquired about delivery. First was told it was delivered at location. Second time was told item was left at a nearby restaurant because location was closed. In the end, person never received item. Was surprised with such poor service since they charge $30 for delivery. I gave it one star since they did provide a refund.

Negative experience: If I could post something lower I would. I ordered flowers for Valentines Day delivery and they never came. Unfortunately nothing to review just a disappointed spouse.

Fantastic experience: Ismael had put together a bouquet for me of exactly what I was looking for!

Positive experience: Excellent drinks 90% of the time. Sometimes not great at the end of the day- have had a few clumpy matchas when they are winding down for the day. Otherwise, love how inventive and beautiful drinks are here. Try the ginger matchai- a crazy combo of golden latte, chai latte and matcha latte. Oh and gorgeous flower arrangements and houseplants. Always lush and expertly arranged. Oh and Dog treats!!

Fantastic experience: Did a last minute same day reservation for my mother in law and ordered roses which arrived on time, beautifully packed in a white box as shown on their website. They also provided my private message on a card along with instructions for flower care. Prices are exceptional and well worth the given product. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Love everything about this place (flowers, plants, staff, coffee, baked goods) BUT the outdoor shed taking up half the block has to go. It has run its course, is rarely occupied/mostly used for storage, and clearly contributing to a dangerous situation with at least 3 car accidents right in front recently. Please be a good nabe and take this down before someone else gets injured or worse.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and I’m in love. We love plant and coffee shops and finding one that has both is like seeing a unicorn. My partner had been there before and shared it was just a plant shop pre COVID. I’m assuming the business model expanded to become a concept shop which now holds space for a coffee, plants, books and stationary. The space is cozy with enough room inside to hold about 8 people and there’s some outdoor seating. To the far end of the shop is where you pay for all non- coffee products and to the center left you order your coffee. We went with the spiced chai with oat milk, so yummy. We sat inside for about an hour and there was quite a bit of traffic but it never got loud or felt stuffy. Similarly to the congenial young lady at the back counter, our male barista was warm and friendly, engaged us in small talk and made recommendations. We ended up purchasing two ceramic mugs and a cute cactus key chain that Bae got me. The trinkets were on the pricier side with the mugs being $15 a piece and the keychain going for $12 but given the location and a specialty shop, it could all be worse. I will def be back. Love the neighborhood, store location and the way the store staff engaged us. It truly makes a difference.

Negative experience: I absolutely despise this establishment. They are crooks! They charge $30/hydrangea! I sent my 11 year old son there to buy a bouquet for his sister’s dance recital and they charged him $300 for 6 hydrangea stems. Shame on them. My other daughter bought me one hydrangea stem for Mother’s Day (not knowing about the rip off from the dance recital) and was also charged $30/hydrangea stem. The hydrangeas all died ONE DAY later in both instances. JERK$. I advise anyone who will listen never to frequent this establishment.

Positive experience: I was walking around the upper west side and stumbled into this amazing place. Part coffee shop part plant store. What a unique combination. The coffees good snd the bakery has fresh cookies and baked goods made from local suppliers. The plant shop is beautiful eith a nice selection of plants, orchids and fresh flowers. Nice pottery and local artisan crafts too. Grab a coffee and walk around, you'll be glad you did

Fantastic experience: PlantShed did an excellent job in delivering my order for my Daughter who was visiting NYC for her birthday. She was surprised and extremely pleased with the flowers.

Negative experience: If you want your flowers delivered on a holiday in NYC don’t bother. I was told the traffic was just too bad. Last time I was in New York City I saw delivery people on bikes I actually don’t think they’re driving cars but whatever. No photo to upload because there were no flowers delivered. When I asked for a refund they gladly said they would do it. Then I was told it would take five days for the refund to happen. The delivery company is trying to make good by sending a complementary chocolate box. The surprise my daughter got from her mother was no surprise and disappointment. So much for Happy Valentine’s.

Fantastic experience: I emailed PlantShed after normal business hours about my daughter not receiving the flowers I ordered. Despite being Valentines Eve and after 8pm at night, Sara responded to my email within minutes. We located the flowers that evening and my daughter was delighted with her stunning arrangement. Kudo's to Sara for going above and beyond for a customer. Customer service like yours is difficult to find. You are a true gem and I will continue purchasing arrangements from the PlantShed because of the service you provided.

Negative experience: The barista who worked here on Sunday morning (Jan. 22) allowed her friend to skip the line and made her two drinks before getting to the order that I had already placed. When she moved a prepared latte across the counter, I thought it was for me and she snapped at me as I tried to reach out to get it. The friend felt guilty and apologized to me on the barista's behalf. Appalling how the barista acted. Terrible service at PlantShed this morning.

Positive experience: Nice little plant store with a cafe inside and Outdoors during seasonal weather. The plants are extremely overpriced and in fact everything there is super expensive. I mean the prices are really ridiculous

Negative experience: Update: The spider plant I purchased was dying. The leaves were trimmed when I first bought it and when I asked why they told me to water her with filtered water because nyc water has bleach. I water all my plants with filtered water. The croton I also had purchased was thriving so I contacted them for help. I received one email back to send pics of the plant. Afterwards there was no reply. I called and explained the spider plant was dying and the leaves were falling off. This purchase was about three weeks ago so I have no receipt. I had to provide the name on card, card number and exact amount of purchase. I told them that the plant was $10 plus tax and I don't know the exact sales tax. You are the merchant and should know this. They kept insisting on the exact dollar amount and i should go through my bank statements? They will never see this plant mom again. What a waste of money and energy into their sick plant they sold me. I'm VERY DISAPOINTED. Posted plants for reference. First review please disregard: This multifunctional plant shop has pretty much what you need. The bakery goodies looked delicious and the plants well maintained and healthy. I honestly feel the customer service topped it all. What lovely kind staff they have. I’m starting my multi plant mom journey and the small plants were very reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Cute spot and knowledgeable staff! I went in for soil and a woman (who I believe was the manager or owner) gave me some pink flowers, too (after asking if I was headed home, presumably out of consideration to not give me additional things to carry if it would be inconvenient). Made my day!

Negative experience: My spice chai latte was nice. Over hearing that I have negative energy and that the barista could feel it made me feel horrible. I was polite and even left a 2 dollar tip.

Fantastic experience: What a great place to find. I made the initial mistake of contacting a florist when I really wanted a plant. This website is clear on its prices and its products. It offers lots of choices. Florists offered much less ("due to availability"). Maybe they should contact The PlantShed! Delivery was as promised and the plant is as pictured. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful shop! Not only do they have dozens of unique plants and plant related items, they also have a great cafe with a plethora of snacks. There's also an outdoor seating area that is decorated with plants. I was really excited to find a large strand of pearl plant there too and they even threw in a few long stem roses as a bonus gift! I will absolutely be shopping there again!

Today, after a bit of a mix up with a bunch of flowers I ordered for delivery, Emily was kind enough to make everything right. It was a very important client/friend who works in interior design so he’s VERY exacting. In the end, the flowers she sent were simple and gorgeous and just the ticket. PlantShed really is a fantastic place. Just be sure to be very specific with what you want and they won’t disappoint.

Negative experience: What a remarkably terrible experience... I spent over $100 to get a flower delivery for my mother on Mother's Day, and not only did they not deliver the flowers - they did not bother to contact me or inform me of their failure to deliver. Had I not called to inquire what had happened they most likely would have just kept my money! The icing on top of everything was that when I did reach out earlier today, the man I spoke to on the phone made it seem like he would do me a favor by refunding the cost for the undelivered gift.... as if it wouldn't have been fraudulent for them to keep the money! No added incentive or customer recovery coupons or discounts... just ridiculous! In an extremely crowded field of competent florists and flower delivery services, do NOT waste your time or money here!

Fantastic experience: I order a sunflower arraignment for my daughters teacher and I’m honestly disappointed with the quality. I reached out to the company and they sent a replacement and the flowers were amazing. They replied very quickly.

He always points me in the right direction when I am in need of something new to spice up my pet friendly home. Even when I am in need for something for a friend or family member. Fantastic experience: My boyfriend gave me a handpicked bouquet for our anniversary with the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever received. They were fresh and with the highest quality, lasting two weeks before they started wilting. I loved each and every flower, the colors, and especially watching the lilies bloom. Big shoutout and commendation to the two ladies who helped (04/01/2022) my boyfriend make the bouquet extra special! He exclaimed how patient you were, all while making this work of art come to life! He also said he was getting stopped on the train, and getting compliments on them. Pictures do not do it justice!

Negative experience: I ordered a heart cactus plant mid January, I paid for the white ceramic pot as a surprise for my boyfriend and they delivered the black one which I didn’t like but I was too nice and didn’t say anything, 2-3 weeks later we noticed the plant was starting to turn yellow. We read into care instructions and made sure it wasn’t dying coz of anything we did or didn’t do. Now the plant is pretty much dead and I reached to these people letting them know exactly what happened and got the most robotic response ever saying it’s past 30 days and they can’t help me, which would have been fine if they had got my order right to begin with since they didn’t, they very much are obligated to help me but nope! DONT SHOP FROM THIS BUSINESS! Buyer be aware! They also don’t sell the plant anymore, which again raises suspicion, never shopping from this business again.

Fantastic experience: I sometimes stop in for a coffee before dropping my kids off at school. Today we had some extra time and my daughter was checking out flowers and naming colors. A really sweet employee stopped and just gave my daughter the most beautiful rose . I will forever be a loyal customer, it was such a kind, sweet gesture. Negative experience: Might have the prettiest flowers online….but bouquet delivered (on right) is NOT equivalent in fullness, quality, or price. Very disappointed and customer service was not helpful and stood by their subpar quality and service. Strongly urge you take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: In the past, I have had good experiences with Plant Shed, flowers and deliveries. My order last week (Thursday-2/3) was not a good experience. I had selected a cheerful bouquet of yellow and orange tulips online (Tootsie)for an ill friend, however I wanted to discuss the order with a person at Plant Shed. I placed a phone order with Eric, specifically requesting the cheerful orange and yellow colors for the Tootsie tulip arrangement. Eric did not confirm that those colors were available. I later found out that white, pink and purple tulips were delivered. I gave my order 2 stars because: 1. I was not notified that those colors were not available, in which case I would I have chosen another arrangement of oranges and yellows. 2. I called Eric on 2 occasions re: this order and both times he said he would get back to me and never did.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of plants and they even have a coffee bar! The staff was super helpful and we ended up with some amazing plants!

Fantastic experience: Recently visited PlantShed New York Flowers, lovely and friendly staff. I loved the aesthetic of the shop, and the fact that it doubled as a coffee shop. Very cute items, I’d definitely recommend this spot and will be returning.

Negative experience: Ordered two wreaths, two bunches of greens and a decorated garland. Wanted to shop local, but this wasn't a good experience. Garland was very, very thin in the center and had almost no decorations at all, two tiny pinecones and one tiny red ornament, two tiny very fake plastic bunches of red berries on over 6ft. Everything was completely flattened delivered in a plastic shopping bag, especially the two wreaths which were like pancakes. No wire hangers for wreaths. It's gotten to the point where fake looks more real than real.

Negative experience: My experience at this store was disappointing. They have a nice selection of plants and espresso drinks but, the service is not attentive or even cordial. Both the Americano and Latte were simply not good.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a custom bouquet and Eric set me up with a beautiful arrangement based on just a few instructions given over the phone. Fantastic service and reasonable prices given the quality. This is my fourth order from Plantshed and every one has been excellent with no delivery issues. Positive experience: Great coffee and delicious pastries! The cheddar scon was amazing as well as the cookie. It's a lovely cafe with a green garden that makes it even nicer. Restrooms are really clean and incredibly enough they smell really good. Staff is super nice. The only missing is a little oven to heat the food.

Fantastic experience: The new location has a full glass store front. It is bright and beautiful. I got all my questions answered and items I needed to re-pot a plant. During the winter they took great care of my money tree that had pests infiltrating it. It survived and is slowly bouncing back to health.

Negative experience: Cashier nice owner rude. If you're condescending no one's going to want to come back to your business. There's always a nice way to speak even if you're having a bad day especially if you're in the service business. Drinks are basic not worth it and especially with the owner's attitude definitely not worth the stop. Had a really good day minus this visit.

I think the price was very good too, I compared it against other flower delivery services in NY and it was certainly competitive. The website is super easy to use and very professional. Fantastic experience: Going to PlantShed is always a great excursion. Their plant displays show a wide variety of what's possible, their ceramic pots on sale are modern, with options that range from whimsical to sleek to the basics. Staff are always incredibly friendly and know their stuff; feel free to ask questions. We've used their delivery service as well, which has always arrived well packaged.
