Fantastic experience: I called the Secret Garden Flower shop at the last minute, a couple days before my friend Mom funeral. When I tell you they delivered the most beautiful flower arrangement for the occasion on time! I loved it! The Secret Garden Flower shop is my new flower shop. I will defenetily be calling them again.

The company that took the original order had the wrong address for the original recipient, but the delivery service and owner from Secret Garden were so nice. Fantastic experience: This past weekend was my first time going into the Secret Garden Flower Shop. Previously I have used them to have bouquets delivered. The bouquet pictured was arranged in about 10 minutes and everyone who has seen them truly adored them. The Secret Garden has never let me down. The flowers are always expertly arranged, fresh, and fragrant.

Fantastic experience: I live in Tennessee and my girlfriend lives up in Chicago (for background context). She had a tragic event that happened recently so I called up to the flower shop explaining the situation to them and they were so nice and helpful to everyone in the situation an really went the extra mile for everyone! I had gotten her the together at twilight and she loved them a lot, she said they looked beautiful but also made her room smell super nice. Definitely recommend super nice a thoughtful people work there!!

Negative experience: I purchase some flowers to be delivered before 10am because that's when the service start. They got their after during the service. The flower foundation of the flower was not neatly done the sticks we're not aligned with each other. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I live in Tennessee and needed to send flowers for the wake of a friend’s father in Chicago. Freddy at Secret Garden was extremely helpful - he took care of all the delivery arrangements and coordinated with the funeral home directly. He helped me select the right flowers to send and sent me pictures of the arrangement once it was completed and again once it was delivered to the funeral home. His customer service was excellent and I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Go Somewhere Else!! My friends sent me a congratulation birds of paradise arrangement. It arrived wilted, roses already drooping and lily’s losing their leaves. I called the next morning after delivery the afternoon before. The person who answered apologied and said a new delivery will be made the next day. Nothing arrived. I called again and was again told give them another day. I have called and now a week later they don’t even return my call after leaving messages. I feel really bad my friends lost their money using this awful flower shop.

Positive experience: This was my second time ordering from here and while the flowers are nice both times my arrangements were not what the picture online shown would be my order. Different flowers were used changing the arrangement in its entirety. The florist didn’t even mention that they didn’t have the flowers as shown in my order until I asked why it looked different. Besides my better judgement I gave them another try but was not satisfied with my arrangement. I didn’t wanna waste my time as I did last time. If you order from here make sure you know what flowers they are using because my arrangements didn’t look like the picture.

Negative experience: This place can’t get an order right. The delivery was a day late. When they delivered it was sent to the wrong house. After them figuring it out that my husband wasn’t lying they said they would resend within an hour. It was past an hour but it came. It was sloppily put together. Flowers were broken and hanging out of the vase. The order said a box of chocolates, but a bear was tossed on the porch instead. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My kids are disappointed because they apparently used their allowance money for this for my Mother’s Day present. What a disappointing florist. Even DoorDash has better results.

Negative experience: I ordered flowers for my God mother’s funeral. I was already upset that I could not make it to the funeral so I sent flowers, but they were never delivered. I have called several times and was told they would handle it right away and send me a refund. I have never received my refund. This was early March we are now near the end of April and I still have not received anything. I only gave two stars because the spoke nicely on the phone but I am very upset that the flowers didnt get delivered and my money was taken and nobody has handled the problem.

Negative experience: I am very big on Google reviews because they can either help an awesome business thrive or they will help a bad business improve and be made aware of their inadequacies. Today was Valentine's Day and I had a pre-paid order. I arrived to pick up my order only to find out that my two dozen rose order was no where to be found. All the staff acted very nonchalant and unconcerned. Finally, they admitted that they did not have my order ready. They took their time making it placing all the walk-ins ahead of me. They did nothing to compensate my loss of time and order. Please DO NOT patronize this establishment. If you are not of Hispanic descent you will not be treated with good customer service and cared for!!!!!! This was devastating seeing as how I spent $200 on roses. I ended up getting something but not what I ordered and no compensation or even an apology!!!!!!!! Never again!

Fantastic experience: I prefer using small business’ to large national floral companies. I reached out to the Secretary Garden Flower Shop during a time of much challenge—following the loss of one of my closest family members. I was grieving and confused about my options. Freddy picked up the line, took time with me, asked good questions, offered care, and kindness. He was accessible, friendly, and did his best to make all I wanted to happen with flowers for the wake, happen as I requested. The flowers arrived on time and were absolutely beautiful. The special banner I requested was lovely, spelled correctly, and just the personal touch I needed. People commented on how lovely the flowers were. They were bright, fresh and lent warmth to the space. I will use this shop again for other occasions and I recommend them highly. *Just a quick additional note that my mother and two other family members were horribly disappointed with flowers they ordered and paid much money for. They looked nothing like the photos on the National website, they were wilting when they arrived, and the chain had replaced expensive flowers for cheap substitutes. Also, the colors were incorrect. They are all still trying to resolve these issues with the larger chains they used. During one of the hardest days of their lives, they had others complicate their worlds and disappoint them unnecessarily.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful arrangement....I am in California and ordered a Thanksgiving arrangement for my mother's gravesite in Chicago. I asked for fall colors. The flowers exceeded my expectations. The cemetery office workers raved over them. I placed the order the previous week and Secret Garden met the schedule in a more than timely manner. Very accommodating. They even placed a little pumpkin on the side....in 3 different places.

I ordered online and the delivered product didn't look as good as the original picture. I understand they have to make substitutions at times so I wasn't too disappointed.

Negative experience: I placed an order online at 12:35 pm for birthday flowers to be delivered today. I sent emails to confirm receipt of my order and get an update on delivery time with no reply. When I called I got a recording in Spanish. I was finally able to reach someone at 3 pm who promised delivery by 7 pm. I called again at 7 pm and told the driver was on his way. It is now 8 pm and the order is still not delivered. I just sent an email to cancel my order and credit me. Now received a reply there is trouble with the driver. This place is a scam and completely unprofessional. Please use another florist in Chicago and save yourself a lot of trouble.
