Negative experience: I ordered same‑day birthday flowers for my girlfriend. The shop never delivered, couldn’t find my order when I called, then blamed a “fake” email address — despite successfully charging my card and later using that same email address to send the refund notice. There was no problem with payment, no problem with the delivery address, and no proactive call to the phone number on the order. Instead, the owner later called the recipient, left passive‑aggressive voicemails, and tried to retroactively justify canceling the order rather than simply owning the mistake. At this point, I’m not even mad — my girlfriend has spent hours reading and laughing at the owner’s unhinged replies to other 1‑star reviews. The pattern in those responses speaks for itself far better than I ever could. Thanks for the entertainment, and best of luck with your business.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly service. Really cute little arrangement in a unicorn vase for our niece who had her tonsils out. It made her smile and that made us happy! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Chicago Flowers provided a partial refund of 61.00. I probably will not use their services again, yet, I can appreciate the accountability and attempt to rectify the issue. I ordered my aunt flowers for her birthday. My aunt has been hospitalized since November 13th. I wanted something beautiful. I found an arrangement and ordered the deluxe with a balloon. I placed the order at 6:48 am online. Around mid-afternoon or early evening, I contacted the floral company because I hadn't received any notification on the process. I was greeted, or lacked thereof, by a man with a heavy accent and hostile tone. I inquired about my order and if I'd receive a notification when it was out for delivery. I was assurnegativetile manner and all). I would! It never happened—the heartwarming call from my aunt thanking me for the flowers. That is how I know they'd been delivered. My instincts told me the arrangement wasn't what I ordered. I was right. My daughter visited my aunt. She took a photo of the arrangement received, and it's not what I ordered. What they sent appears to be a smaller version minus several flowers, including the roses. I tried calling the establishment, but no one picked up. My aunt love flowers, she asked that I not take them. As she knows, I would return them and request what I paid for. Out of love and respect for my aunt, I didn't have my daughter remove them. Chicago Flowers, you FAILED horribly in both customer service and delivery of the actual product. I will never order from you ever again. YOU DESERVE MINUS ZERO STARS!

Negative experience: Placed a flower order with a specific pick up time I get there to pick up my order and the flowers wasn’t even ready they haven’t even started working on them, some black dude I think his name is Justin (not sure) on his cell phone watching movies while the other guy scramble around to get my order ready, needless to say I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DONT HAVE YOUR ORDERS READY! THE FLOWER SHOP CALLED AND LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL AS I WAS ON MY FLIGHT CONSIDERING I WAS TRAVELING OUT OF TOWN TO CHICAGO FOR THE FLOWERS THIS ORDER WAS PLACES DAYS AGO WHY WOULD AS A BUSINESS CALL 3 HOURS BEFORE ITS TIME FOR ME TO PICK UP ORDER? Chicago Flower went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the flowers were delivered to the right address and the right room. They contacted the hospital, verified the recipient's info, and then verified with me. As someone on the other side of the country who had to put my complete trust in the flower delivery service, I am SO grateful I chose Chicago Flower! Customer service UNMATCHED. Positive experience: The arrangements are beautiful, but they do not let you set a delivery time or time frame, which just isn't helpful. Nor is there any option to pay for that service. I was hoping to have the arrangement I ordered delivered by 3pm, which I thought was a reasonable ask since they said they started delivering to South Loop first, which was where my flowers were being sent. But they didn't get delivered until after 4pm, which was too late and the person who I got them for had already left. Ruining the surprise, and making her wait a whole day until she actually could see them. I just think that's shoddy service. If they're needed by a certain time, especially to make sure they reach the recipient, or to ensure that the location isn't closed before they get there, they should at the very least have that option to set some kind of time window. Or else you're just rolling the dice. And that's what I did, and it ended up not in my favor.

Fantastic experience: I’m not the review type of person BUT, I’m in VA, my wife had a business trip to Chicago. While she was on the plane I ordered the flowers, coordinating with the hotel to get them to her by the time she checked in. (An almost 2.5 hour window) And sure enough, I called Chicago flower when my wife landed and she knew exactly the order I was talking about. 15 minutes later the flowers were delivered. My wife was ecstatic of course and it couldn’t have been done without Chicago Flower, making her whole trip. UPDATE: She brought the flowers home and they lasted 2.5 weeks! I wish I took a picture before we tossed them but I was amazed. She gets flowers every 7-10 days at home and these lasted from Chicago, on the plane, the ride home and 10+. More. Days! Very impressed.

At no other florist would I have to wait 30 minutes for three types for flowers I pre-picked to be wrapped up in a bouquet. edit: I was actually in the car outside. You spoke with my mother, claiming you have to take about 30 minutes to wrap up the bouquet because it was “delicate merchandise.” Haha.

Negative experience: I ordered two arrangements and they were very very important deliveries. I spoke to a man who assured me At the arrangements I ordered would be beautiful but more over that they would look just like the picture. He explained that they don’t do any design on their own, but what they do is duplicate the pictures. That seems fair to me at the time. Below, you can see the arrangements received by the recipient and photographed versus the picture posted on the website. I feel sad and embarrassed and I’m out a Couple hundred dollars . It would be one thing if they were personal flowers sent to a friend, but I run a business with a decent reputation and now, after this delivery, The company looks cheap and careless.. I’m gonna say choose a different Florist. These guys do not have a storefront so you can’t walk in which I understand is not important to everyone, but it does say something about the business. They operate out of an office someplace so while you can’t walk in to see the flowers or to see what they’re doing, they have an operation there . I feel really bad. I feel embarrassed. And while the right thing to do would be for the florist to send out new flower arrangements that actually looks like the picture, I haven’t heard back from them so I’ll probably have to spend another couple hundred dollars. Send good Looking arrangements. Boo

The flowers arrived and were even more beautiful than they appeared on the website. My friend was brought to tears immediately at such a beautiful bouquet. Negative experience: The flowers I ordered look nothing like the product I received. The most major issue being there should be pink tulips in the order, but there are no pink tulips in the order I received. If they didn’t have any, I should have been contacted with the option to change to new flowers. I am pretty new to buying flowers so the second issue may be normal, but a lot of the white flowers are completely closed up, although we are hoping they will open up today. Posting a picture of both what I ordered and what I received.

Negative experience: The flower arrangements from here are always so beautiful! Except they never last. The last 2 arrangements I have received they have died within a few days. I’m not sure what it is because I’ve never had this problem with other florists! I wish they lasted longer than a few days especially because of the price! Their delivery also seems a bit chaotic as well. Edit: to provide more context.. I called the previous time and followed the instructions perfectly and they still died quick each time. Some flowers looked like they were struggling upon arrival. If anyone’s looking for a florist go to City Scents. They are soo nice there and the flowers are of high quality and last!

Fantastic experience: Ordered sunflowers on Wednesday for delivery on Friday for a bunch of sunflowers in a square planter of some kind. They say their delivery time was between 12-5 and was worried they wouldn't deliver past 5. I ordered for them to arrive a day early just in case and good thing I did. The sunflowers look amazing.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed. I ordered and paid for a delivery of flowers and a toy to my daughter who had just given birth. THE GIFT WAS NEVERY DELIVERED. I sent an email two days later when my daughter was discharged from the. hospital asking that either the delivery be redirected to my daughters home address or I get a full refund for failure to deliver. That was over a week ago. Chicago Flower has not even bothered to acknowledge receipt of my email, let alone reply. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. To Chicago Flower - to give you the benefit of the doubt, the Order number was 65620. I will continue to try to resolve this and would appreciate a response without any further delay.

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife. She never got them unfortunately. I called Chicago Flower the next morning to get an understanding of what exactly happened. Andrea was so professional and very helpful in rectifying the matter. She let it be known that the problem would be taken care of and she delivered. Thank you to Andrea as well as the delivery driver, for coming together as a team and getting the job done. That’s what great customer service looks like!
