Kloeckner Preferred Flowers

Positive experience: After visiting family in Chicago, I wanted to send a “Grateful” Spring Bouquet once back home. However, I realized how unfamiliar I was with the area and little to no knowledge of reputable florists. After a Google search, it seemed Kloeckner Preferred Flowers were my best choice and they did not disappoint but proved to be outstanding! Flowers were fresh and beautiful (recipient even sent me a photo), delivery was just as requested and all for a comfortable price and delivery fee. Thank you for your service. I will recommend and use this business again for certain.

Fantastic experience: It would’ve been five stars, I had ordered an orchid, and it was substituted with succulents. However, the container that the succulents were in was very nice. Since I posted this review, the owner reached out to me and offered to make things right. So, they are definitely a five star organization. Thank you, Pam! It was a mixup between two orders. I told her there was no need to send another plant. It turns out that the maintenance of an orchid is a lot more work than taking care of succulents. The recipient is a very busy person and travels with work so at the end of the day, the right choice was made. I will continue to place any floral orders through them. A very satisfied customer.

Fantastic experience: Friend had a death in the family and I placed the order late Thursday evening before Valentines Day weekend. The flowers delivered next day on Friday and were beautiful. Much better than the picture online. Very happy and will definitely use this shop every time.

Fantastic experience: Arrangement was beautiful! However, some of the flowers, white ones, only lasted 2.5 days before they wilted. That was disappointing. Revised...... Kloeckner has absolutely wonderful customer service and offered to replace arrangement. I however have learned that the more delicate flowers, white ones, may have wilted quicker because the home humidifier was not working in the home I sent the flowers. The home was very dry and the flowers struggled. Definitely 5 star service!!!!

Positive experience: Well I was gonna let it be, because my friend liked her gift. But since you asked via email AND text, I'll say that what I ordered and what arrived weren't the same thing. The succulents were to be in "a heavy contemporary planter bowl" but they arrived in a rustic wood box. The bowl was a key part of what sold me on the idea. It matched my friend's home and would have outlived the succulents. No further action required. But I was disappointed even if she's none the wiser.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a beautiful Bouquet for a friend and learned later they could not recieve fresh flowers because they were Oncology where they do not accept fresh flowers because of the population they serve. I have made multiple orders with them and they have not failed me. I also referred them to a few of my colleagues that enjoy them as well. All the arrangements are beautiful!!

Negative experience: I purchased a very expensive bouquet through an online site that uses this local shop as their florist. There were 3 “Tiers” of the same arrangement you could purchase — and I paid extra to get the most expensive version. All together, the order cost me about $80, and was very small — had wilted roses, and the other flowers were some of the least expensive available. (All in, these flowers would have cost $15 at Trader Joe’s). We get flowers at my house almost every week — and mostly arrange them myself — but wanted something “a little extra” for my partner after she was recovering at home from a surgery. These were definitely not that. Not fresh, not high quality, and very expensive relative to what I received (not at all like the online picture).
