Negative experience: I’m absolutely appalled at the service I received at flower bowl Geelong. The lady was so very disrespectful and talked down to us like we were nothing. When she asked us how much we wanted to spend she came back with “the first bunch [she] could find” which were visibly old and nearly dead flowers. Following this is when the disrespect started and she wouldn’t even let us handle the bunch we were about to purchase. Can’t stress this enough how degrading this experience was and how terrible this has made our day. Don’t give business to disrespectful owners!!

Fantastic experience: I had the best (and also the strangest) customer experience just now. Silly Me didn’t realise this beautiful business is based in Victoria. I was so caught up in how beautiful the floral arrangements were that I misread the location. I am based in Sydney. Flower Bowl immediately reached out to me after my order came through, advising I may not have selected the right option and also advising they were interstate and provided me with a courier option for delivery. When I requested, if it was possible for a refund given my order was did Sydney, there was no hesitation and a refund was processed. I must say this customer service is absolutely exceptional. Thank you Everyone at the Flower Bowl Team. I wish you were in Sydney your floral arrangements are to die for.

Negative experience: The business is terrible when it comes to confirming orders by emails. The phone number, on previous 2 orders is full of messages and would not allow for customers to leave messages to check if an order has been received. Their website is not updated to advise they close on Monday as I wasted time driving all the way there to check if my order has been received and if the flowers have been sent. Terrible way of running a business. Would avoid them going forward.

After looking over various Geelong florists pictures of bunches of flowers, I found the flower bowl to have the most beautiful and innovative arrangements, a step up from the stock standard arrangements of other florists. Fantastic experience: Beautiful flowers and amazing customer service. I ordered flowers late morning to be delivered to my friend at her workplace for her b'day, same day, not realising she was WFH. When delivered to workplace reception informed, she wasn't there and WFH. Flower bowl then went out of their way with no issue to redeliver to my friend's home ensuring she received her flowers fresh and on her actual birthday.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here if you are after a specific colour request. Mother’s Day- One request was no pink. Flowers, chocolates and mug arrived and were pink. Birthday- One request was no pink. Most of the arrangement was pink. One star as they replaced the first lot with new bunches and I was able to have a refund on the second lot.

Fantastic experience: I ordered the $65 bunch with the small hand cream to be delivered to my partners 96yr old Nan who was in hospital. This woman is fastidious about flowers being an avid gardener her whole life so you know she was impressed when she called me upon returning home to say how big headed the chrysanthemums were, how beautiful they were and the addition of the hand cream. Well done Flowerbowl for such a great priced arrangement with free local hospital delivery & the added special touch of a hand cream. You really gave this Nan something to smile about & tell all her friends about back home 5hrs away.

Fantastic experience: Ordered for my mothers birthday which was on a weekend, I thought they wouldnt deliver weekends so i ordered for delivery on the monday. The wonderful lady at flowerbowl called me on Saturday morning and asked if i wanted them to be delivered on my mums birthday which was amazing. The extraordinary effort that was made in this one bunch was obvious. Thank you so much to the folks involved in the preparation and timely delivery. Outstanding service.

Negative experience: Thoroughly disappointed and embarrassed to have used this company. Paid $75 for a same day delivery PICK ME UP bunch, requesting no gerberas and saying it was to celebrate a newborn boy. They sent a cheap & tacky looking bunch that I was embarrassed to put my name to - full of pink and purple flowers and dominated by particularly bland green foliage. Absolutely nothing like advertised. I understand there is a flower shortage in Australia at the moment, but this is no excuse. To make matters more sour, no refund nor redelivery was offered - merely an apology and excuses stating they “don’t generally do gendered specific colours for new born occasions unless it has been requested specifically” and that they “like to think that the flowers will be enjoyed by the parents and we aim to make lovely flowers for them”. Specify what you want or prepare yourself for disappointment.

Fantastic experience: I just love this florist, all these girls are so clever with their arrangement but also all the little added extras you can attach to your gifts to make them extra special. Whether it be wine, chocolate, candles or even earrings, they are just wonderful.

Negative experience: Ordered flowers my wife's birthday (OH DAHLIA! $65.00) and half the flowers were wilted! It looks like the bouquet was made a week earlier. For $65 I would have expected a freshly made bouquet!! Not happy... birthday present spoilt!!!

The purpose of the flowers was for my wedding and I received perfect service from the team and the flowers were stunning. Negative experience: Looking for flowers for my mother in law's funeral. The owner was very rude and unhelpful, showing no compassion for our recent loss. No photos showing examples and casket arrangements and almost felt we were inconveniencing her by asking questions. We ended up going with a different florist nearby who was very friendly, had stunning flowers and had photos of dozens of examples to choose from. They also showed some compassion towards us. We will NEVER be stepping foot in Flower Bowl again and will always recommend against other people purchasing flowers from them. If i could give zero stars I would. Do yourself a favour and dont waste time going here.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing service. I ordered surprise flowers for my wife for her birthday, almost one week in advance through the online order system. It didnt ask for a time of delivery, so I assumed that it would be delivered at some stage in the morning. However it got to 1pm and they hadnt been delivered. My wife was finishing up at work early, so I rang The Flower Bowl and asked if they could please be delivered to our home instead. From the phone conversation, I was under the impression that they would be delivered soon after the phone conversation as the courier was 'already out that way'. Time went on and my wife hadnt said anything. I had to drop hints to get her to the front door at 4 because I was sure that they must be delivered by then. But no, nothing delivered. I called at 4:15 to ask what the go was, and I was informed that they would be delivered at any time up until 5:30pm (Who wants surprise flowers delivered at 5:30pm on your birthday?). I received another call 10min later apologising and informing me that the flowers should either be there now, or very close. I left it another 15min and still no news from my wife. By this stage she knew what was up, which meant that the surprise was blown. It got to 5:20pm and still nothing. I was on the train with limited service so I couldnt call to complain, but my wife did and asked for a refund. The florist was apologetic and said they would call me in the morning to arrange said refund. At 5:45, the flowers arrived at our front door. My wife kindly informed her that we had asked for a refund, and that we could not accept the flowers. The courier was extremely rude and proceeded to inform my wife how hard our house is to find (they had both mine and my wifes phone numbers, one 1 minute phone call would have solved the issue). I received my refund through Paypal that night, however I never received a phone call apologising or explaining the error. We regularly purchase flowers from the Flower Bowl, however after this fiasco, I dont think we will be back.
