Negative experience: Seem like nice people, the flowers were also nice. I have a big issue with their customer service. I placed an order around 2:30/3:00 pm on a friday for delivery that same day. Even at that time, the website gave me the option to have same day delivery, which I was very impressed with. I checked out, paid for same day delivery, and the receipt confirmed it. I waited a while, then called the office to ask if the flowers had been delivered. I was informed that I had missed the cut-off, and that I should have been notified of that (which I wasn't.) Fair enough, technical issues happen, technology is weird. However, as the customer that's not really my problem. I paid for same day delivery, and that is not what I received. I would have been totally content had they offered a discount due to this error, however at no point was anything like that offered. Mistakes happen, but its on the business to correct them. I don't believe I received what I paid for.

Fantastic experience: As I don’t live in Calgary I looked online to choose a local small business. I am extremely happy with the product and the service I received. I left the arrangement to them and it was beautiful. They were also were very flexible when I had to change the delivery date and address at the last minute. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: As someone planning my own wedding, I found Flower Chix’s Wedding PDF Guide incredibly helpful and gave me a quick intro to the world of wedding florals! Their online appointment system was also a huge blessing with my busy schedule. I also appreciated their honesty when they recommended ways for us to save money (e.g. reusing the reception table flowers for aisle flowers during the ceremony). The flower choices they recommended matched my vision board (a mix of classic and tropical vibe). I ordered a bridal bouquet, table centerpiece flowers and a head table swag (the bridal bouquet came with a free matching boutonierre for the groom). The arrangements were beautiful and well-crafted - guests wanted to take them home after the event. The only hiccup was delivery communication. I wish there had been a call or note left for my coordinator once the flowers arrived, as they were moved by venue staff and we spent some time searching for them during the busy morning. Overall, I recommend Flower Chix for their super helpful planning resources and their ability to translate my vision into beautiful, high-quality floral arrangements!

Negative experience: I was getting flowers delivered from a friend and the woman that called me at 11:30, said she would get the woman to call me 20 minutes before, she called at 3:30 and said she would be there at 5:30. She didn’t come till 8:30 than complained about their light being off and I said I was a basement apartment and I had even met her outside. The front light she was talking about is a monitor light and there is also other tenants in the front part of the house. When I called the employee tried to downplay my concerns and blamed it on roads, they were fine that day and I had to remind her of the card where people were not happy they could call. Worst customer service!!

Fantastic experience: Flower Chix dead great working with me to send flowers to my wife. I ordered them first thing in the morning before they were open. I called once the shop was open to see if they could have the flowers delivered to her before a certain time as she might be leaving work early. The lady I spoke with was very friendly and worked with me to ensure my wife would get them. I'm very appreciative of this as the weather was horrible with all the snow and it being a busier time for them. I really appreciated them taking the time to listen, acknowledge the impact their mistake had on my day, and take responsibility. They also took steps to help rectify the situation, which I’m grateful for, and they let me know they’ll be updating their procedures to help prevent something like this from happening again. That level of follow-up and accountability meant a lot and helped restore some trust after a disappointing experience.*** I’m extremely frustrated with my experience with Flower Chix. Despite confirming multiple times that my wedding bouquet would be ready for pickup at the South location by 10am, when we arrived, we were told it was actually at the North location — 30 minutes away. This mistake delayed our entire schedule and made us late for our wedding photos — something that can’t be redone. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability from the florist. No apology, no ownership, no effort to make it right. It’s really disappointing because their floral work itself isn’t bad, but their unreliability and poor communication make them a vendor I can’t trust.

I think I paid just under $100 for gorgeous flowers including delivery and the flowers were far more substantial and gorgeous than the ones I paid $200 for elsewhere. Positive experience: The flowers were beautiful once I got them. I didn't realize that delivery by 4:30 meant delivery at 6:30. I ordered 2 corsages. I was not able to give one of them to the young lady it was intended for, so that was a disappointment. by 4:30 would have been fine. That's why I didn't say anything when I was told I would get them by 4:30. When given a time of 11:00 - 4:30, I didn't think that my delivery would be at the very end of the day and past. Sad that I missed the opportunity to give the corsage.
