Negative experience: I just received a bouquet today, and I’m so disappointed, especially knowing it was sold for $250+. Not to mention the composition is outdated and tasteless, and the quality of the flowers is poor. The photos were taken an hour after they were bought. The roses aren’t fresh, are dry, and some of the petals are almost falling off. It looks like a cheap boque from the grocery store. Do not recommend!

Fantastic experience: My brother and I use KF for all our deliveries to our mother’s care home. We are not in town much so it’s nice to see pics of arrangements and trust the product will always be good and delivered when promised.

Fantastic experience: Kensington Florist are the BEST… My delivery date kept moving, then my recipient was not going to be home for another week… I thought all was lost, and figured I would just accept it and pick up my card. They are SOOO amazing!!!! They are willing to change my delivery date, and make a completely fresh arrangement for the delivery. Understand that the Old flowers need to still be fresh in order for this to happen. In a age where customer service in the west is weak. THEY ARE THE EXAMPLE. Negative experience: I did not receive flowers from thus company. They had my number and someone else's address. They wouldn’t tell me who sent them. Said delivered but I didn’t get them.

Fantastic experience: Have to give a 5 star rating to Kensington Florist. I placed an online order, they were prompt in replying and kept me in the loop all the way to delivery. I most appreciated the text message with the gorgeous arrangement so I knew what my recipient was receiving. Top notch floral designs and amazing quality. They are my go to florist!

Fantastic experience: The flower bouquet that my friend purchased and had delivered to me is absolutely gorgeous! Also the delivery person left my flowers with my neighbour, given that I wasn’t home and it is extremely cold outside. This gesture was so appreciated!

Negative experience: We emailed Kensington Flowers the night before to order a bouquet for pickup, and they confirmed it would be done for 11 AM. We traveled across the city to get it, but when we arrived we stood at the counter for about 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. We were eventually told the bouquet had been sold. When we asked if they could remake it, we were informed we would be placed at the end of the queue with no compensation offered, which could have meant waiting for hours. We bought a premade bouquet instead and paid nearly $100 for six very plain flowers wrapped in bright neon green. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I would not recommend this shop.

Negative experience: While the flowers were nice the delivery process was awful. We will not use them again. The florist called to confirm a time to deliver the flowers and agreed for delivery after 1:00 pm. We changed plans to deal with other matters in the AM only to find they tried to deliver at 11:00 am- 2 hours early. To make matters worse the delivery person was rude in a voicemail message implying we were at fault for not being home. Calling the florist did not gain any better results as they indicated they would call the delivery company and then confirmed “delivery would be soon” - it was not delivered until 4:15 pm… that was not soon. Given the amount that is charged for delivery - $15.00 we would expect better. We do not live far from the florist - less than 1km away… almost could have walked over to pick them up.

Negative experience: Purchased pink roses and the product was nowhere resembles the photo shown on the website. Emailed them about the issue and they told me that the photos online are photoshopped and may not be accurate to the product you will receive. As you can from the photos the flowers look far off in comparison. Will be shopping flowers elsewhere next time.

Fantastic experience: I use Kensington florist every year to send my mom flowers on her birthday. I don't live in Calgary, so it means alot to me that I can trust that the flowers my mom receives will be beautiful, fresh and creative. I spoke to Mom today (her birthday), she was so excited about her flowers which included some really unusual and interesting varieties she hadn't seen before. How lovely is that?! Such a simple gesture that, when done with genuine commitment and a little flourish, can give such delight. Thank you Kensington Florist!

Fantastic experience: Okay... this is the place! My out-of-province friend had randomly called up Kensington Florist when sending flowers to me last year- they were gorgeous and lasted for such a long time. I sent her a photograph when I wrote to thank her, and so she called Kensington Florist specifically this year for my birthday. Their team called in advance to offer a couple of time slots so that they could deliver while someone was home- again... fresh, vibrant flowers, beautifully displayed in a lovely vase. I'm delighted.

Fantastic experience: Kensington Florist has far exceeded expectations on more than one occasion. I’ve ordered from them multiple times and always receive confirmation via text, a picture of the flowers that will be sent, and a confirmation of delivery. I recently placed an order and needed to change the delivery date after everything was confirmed. They were able to accommodate the date change and remake the arrangement. Their customer service is exemplary. Companies should learn from them. I will always use them when sending flowers in Calgary and I live in the US.

Negative experience: Avoid, do not recommend at all. Ordered what I thought was a nice bouquet, upon opening, I realized that the bouquet was much less than I expected, on top of that the flowers wilted within 3 days. Admittedly I did receive a request from Kensington flowers asking for a review, I hesitated knowing my review wouldn’t be great, so I responded to the text and received no response. I then followed up with a call to the store to share my feedback, manager wasn’t in the office so they called me back. The call back essentially blamed me and said that I should’ve been more specific with my request, and the bouquet was fresh and within budget, their solution was to offer me 10% off my next purchase. What I can honestly say is that I could’ve got better quality for 1/3 of the price at Costco. I’m all about supporting small businesses and I do. I have been to other private owned flower shops that deliver much better value. Happy to share as appropriate but buyer beware.
