Negative experience: I purchased these flowers for Mother’s Day, and they costed 70 after tax. For the price, these were probably the smallest bundle with the least variety of flowers I have seen, I’m genuinely disappointed at the product.

Fantastic experience: I've used their services twice now and it's been a success both times! I'm from Toronto so had no idea where to look in Calgary for a florist but found them on Google and had birthday flowers sent to a couple of friends. They do call the designated contact you provide on the form ahead of time to determine a good delivery time so just a heads up in case you want it to be a surprise. Their communication and service is great and I look forward to using their shop again in the future.

Negative experience: What was ordered vs what was delivered was not acceptable, and embarrassing. A complete waste of money. While I try to support local, an instacart order through Costco or Safeway would have been half the price and so much better. I tired to address it with the business who told me they were low on inventory and they have poor excuses.

Fantastic experience: Every year since the COVID lockdown, my parents in Manitoba have been sending me floral arrangements for my birthday, from NW Florist, and it's always a gorgeous arrangement, with healthy long-lasting blooms. The vases and containers are super cute too. And I really appreciate that they call to confirm someone will be home, with a a delivery window. The flowers are always well wrapped for transport as well.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this florist at all! My mom bought me a dozen roses for $116. I cut them, gave them food and fresh water, and they still never opened up. They remained tight for over a week until they dried out. It was very disappointing especially given the price point.

She was very easy to work with (online forms, emails, phone calls, and in-person visits), knew exactly what I was looking for, and executed it perfectly. She kept to our budget while keeping my vision. She also personally had the flowers delivered to our venue on short notice which we were incredibly moved by.

Fantastic experience: I placed an order online from BC to surprise my girlfriend who was turning 65. It was my first time ordering from Northwest Florist. I ordered a floral arrangement and bar of soap. Customer service was incredible. I had called as well to ensure this was a valid company. They delivered on time as requested. My friend was thrilled with her beautiful bouquet and soap and card. My friend sent me pictures and she even sent the picture again 4 days later and the bouquet was holding up still. Fantastic experience: I was blown away by Northwest Florist's service from the moment of my call, late on a Saturday afternoon. My friend's father just died, the day before Father's Day. I knew I was too late for a same day delivery and that they did not normally deliver on Sundays. They asked me the address, told me to enter the information online for delivery Monday and they would do everything in their power to delivery the arrangement on Sunday, Father's Day. Imagine my happiness when my friend called to say how thrilled he and his sons were that the flowers had arrived. It was a hugely meaningful touch for them that the beautiful flowers arrived, but especially so on that special day. I would highly recommend Northwest Florist in Calgary.
