Fantastic experience: Sending flowers out of town is always risky for many reasons. Over the last dozen years I have sent arrangements to London ON while living on Toronto. I have always used Jim Anderson Flowers and they have always been received with praise and joy.

Fantastic experience: The delivery was perfect and they like the flowers, but some flowers were not included as shown on the website, it's on the customer to check they have them available before ordering. Edit: They suggest calling and making your order rather than online to check they have the flowers you want available. They have a substitution policy and the website doesn't tell you if some flowers will be substituted or not.

Fantastic experience: I understand the orchid was beautiful, in full bloom. It is a lovely tribute in memory of a loved one and could last for years to come. I recommend that flowers from any local florist be ordered over the phone. When I tried over the computer, I thought I was ordering from Jim Anderson, as I have been very pleased with previous arrangements, but the order was somehow hijacked by a US company and my Visa was charged with the current exchange rate added. When I phoned Anderson's to find out what was going on, they helped me cancel the order and get a refund. The Anderson rep said this happens frequently. It's like a scam, so I highly recommend ordering directly over the phone from any local florist.

Negative experience: My daughter was never contacted to say they were being delivered, the bouquet was left in between doors to her building/ and were left sitting there for 2 hrs. Open to anyone who could have taken them. Only did she go to find them after I contacted her to ask if she received them yet. To my opinion the bouquet was not worth the $50…I used to work in a flower shop/as well have my own cut flower garden, so I’m quite aware.

Positive experience: Asked for an arrangement for a funeral that was mainly purple carnations. What they sent was a primarily a white and green arrangement with 5 carnations that weren't very purple. I messaged them and almost a week later, they still haven't responded. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Sent these flowers to my SIL for her birthday. She loved them! I ordered them on-line and the process was very easy. The picture on their website showed more spring colors, but without my even asking they sent an arrangement with autumn colors. What a thoughtful action by the designer that delighted my SIL.

Fantastic experience: My mother LOVED the puppy bouquet. She said she's seen nothing like it, that it was adorable, the flowers were very fresh, and the water they were in was cold. She felt like a lot of care went into the arrangement and she loved the added touch of ribbon as well (this was a pleasant and unexpected extra so best not to expect it). And comparing to the sales image, my mother received even more flowers than expected. My mother also remarked that it was cool that the puppy's nose was also a flower. Also when ordering, I had also accidentally selected the wrong date and in a panic I called and the person I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and obviously likes their job. I also liked supporting a local business and expect I'll use Jim Anderson Flowers again in the future. And while I and other family got together a couple days before her birthday to celebrate in person -- being able to send flowers for her actual birthday was so lovely. Negative experience: If the option for less than one star was available, I would choose it. I've heard negative things about the staff at this location. Choose the flower store down the street for your floral needs, and make sure you stop by Anderson flowers to show them what a real floral shop can do.
