Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers to take to a funeral for my cousin. I gave my price range and a general idea of what I wanted. I was beyond happy with the amazing job they did. Negative experience: Charge $15 for delivery and don't even try to make the requested time or notify me when they could not. No apologies or remedies to make a customer happy. Will not use this florist anymore. I suggest not wasting your money here unless you are okay with flowers being delivered to your doorstep when it's -10 and your flowers die. Edit: wanted to add that the flowers do not look like the photo, much smaller than what was shown on their webpage. Responding to their comment: Our arrangement had 5 roses and the photo showed 7 just from the one angle. The arrangement was no where near satisfactory. Complete rip off. My first order with you guys had this same issue but it wasn't as bad as this order. All I am seeing is a consistent inability to match what you are advertising which leads me to believe you are intentionally ripping off customers. It's wild you thank me for the photo when you can see the embarrassingly drastic difference between what I paid for and what I got Also, we had to arrange someone to be there for the delivery after you contacted them and ruined the surprise. Why even have the option to select time of delivery when you can't honour it at all? Not to mention the delivery was the following day after the order so it shows that you didn't even try to make the time or contact me to find another time.

Our apologies for any inconveniences you experienced with this delivery. As I mentioned over the phone, which additionally is stated on our website multiple times before checkout, we cannot guarantee any specific delivery times as we deal with a third party delivery service.

Our delivery fee is competitive with other shops in the city, and we do our utmost to fulfill any special requests but cannot guarantee any specific times.

We actually contacted the recipient before the delivery was sent out to ensure someone was available for the delivery as we cannot leave flowers on the doorstep without confirmation that someone will be home. The recipient stated that someone would be there to receive it which is why we had a successful delivery yesterday. Furthermore, it was marked by our delivery service that they were handed off directly and not left at the door. :)

With winter conditions, we wrap all of our flowers in a thermal bag to help prevent any cold-damage, which are rated for temperatures as low as -20. At the time of delivery it was around -5 degrees and our delivery was handed directly to the recipient, so rest assured, there should be no issues with frozen flowers.

We always do our best to make the arrangements look like the selection, but as it is stated before check out, some substitutions may occur depending on availability. At the time of this order, we were out of white oriental lilies and opted to use white calla lilies instead as that is our closest lily substitution.

This could have been explained further if you did not hang up on us when you called yesterday.

We appreciate your feedback, and apologize for any inconveniences caused. We are glad that the delivery was successful and that the recipient got a beautiful flower arrangement! (Thanks for the photo!)

To respond to your edit:
The roses you see in this stock photo consists of a mix of roses and spray roses. We may have been out of spray roses at the time of the order, which would have resulted in us substituting out for other flowers to make the arrangement up to value. I would be happy to do a price break down of each of the flowers I see in the photo you provided to assure you that the arrangement received was up to value. The flowers in this photo alone seem to be over $70. This is before the vase or the labour is even taken into consideration. So rest assured, the arrangement you received is up to value, it just had a few substitutions to keep the general colour scheme similar to the selected choice.

Like I said previously, we cannot guarantee any timed deliveries. Our deliveries go out between 9am and 4pm as it is stated on our website. There is no option to 'select time of delivery'. We made contact with the recipient as it was far too cold to be left on the doorstep. This is our store policy when it is too cold outside. I am sorry that this did not work for your intended purposes of the flowers, but rest assured the flowers arrived healthy and happy (and not frozen).

We typically do not reach out to the sender further unless they explicitly instruct us to or we are unable to reach the recipient, as the recipient is the receiver of the flowers, and contact with them is made priority. We heard back from the recipient almost immediately, so truly there was no issue with the delivery.

We are sorry to see this frustrated you so much, and do hope your next experience with another flower shop is a better one. I would recommend ordering for pick-up the next time you place a flower order. This will allow you the chance to see the flowers before they leave the shop, as well as allow you to choose the exact time you need the flowers, avoiding any of this stress altogether.

Negative experience: Despite requests from sender and receiver to cancel the order, company continued to process the order. Also, needlessly texted the receiver ahead of time spoiling the purpose of sending flowers. Lastly, harassed my family with a phone call then worried my parents and left my sister in tears. Talin was utterly useless, choosing to side with corporate greed rather than doing what any decent business would when confronted with the situation. How did our morals fall so far in this country in the last 20 years?

While I am extremely apologetic of the situation, and do wish there was more we could do, our store policy leaves us no choice but to report any order that may pose a potential risk to the sender, receiver, or another individual.

The email you sent your cancellation request to was an unmonitored no-reply email address setup by our website developer whose sole purpose is to send confirmations of the order. This email clearly states that it is a no-reply email as well as how to contact the shop if questions or concerns arise. This email is UNMONITORED and nobody at our company has access to it, or its contents. There was truly NO way that our shop knew of your intention to cancel this order.

We attempted to contact you immediately after the order was placed but were unable to reach you. As a result, we contacted non-emergency services to report this order and the recipient to see if we could obtain further information. Because we did not hear back from you before the order was prepared, the only cancellation request we had was from the recipient. As policy requires the sender to authorize cancellations or modifications, we then proceed with the delivery at the recipients request to exclude the card message. (Which you also initially claimed were never received.)

Out of respect, we will not share details into what the context of the card message was, but the recipient expressed sincere appreciation for our outreach and stated: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing something. I don’t know if others would have done the same thing. Thank you a million times.”

The only phone call we made was to non-emergency regarding the card message. We are not responsible for any additional calls made.

The fact of the matter is this: had we processed the order without taking further action, and not bothered to show basic human decency and go this extra step, we still would have NOT received your cancel request that you sent to a NO-REPLY email address. The flowers would have then been delivered to the recipients workplace WITH this CONCERNING card message. I think we can both understand the severity of that situation. This outcome would have led you to be just as angry with us, if not more-so. Consequently, this would have also had repercussions with the recipient receiving these at their workplace, potentially contacting us, concerned why we would idly sit by and do nothing.

I truly do sympathize with the situation at hand, and offer my sincere apologies for any distress caused by our involvement. However, descending to your level by lashing out over the phone and sending numerous hurtful and cruel emails is not something I commend. Empathy is an extremely valuable trait, and I wish you the very best in finding it one day.

I stand by the decision we at Petals for Less made, and have zero regrets regarding the ‘morals’ you claim have dropped so far. We wish you the very best in the future.

Negative experience: Show up 1 hour before closing time because wrapping up 3 flowers takes them more than 20 minutes apparently. Customer based business with no customer care business.

Negative experience: One of the workers told me NOT to reserve one of the flowers I wanted as she said it would still be there in 2 days. Then I go in 2 days later and they are all gone. The way she responded to my request seemed like she did not want me to reserve the flowers in the first place.

Positive experience: I picked up some roses as a walk in customer. It took 10 minutes just to wrap them. When I peeked over the counter to see what was taking so long, I saw the lady was cutting all the leaves off. I noticed before she had them all done and stopped her. She should have asked!!! That’s not what I wanted. I clean them up myself, how I want, and before I put them in a vase. Then when done the cost for those flowers was way too much. Let’s see how long they last?! Our last two orders from online were also very disappointing. We paid too much for what we received. Prior to this, perhaps 4 months ago and prior, I was very happy with the flowers we received and that’s why I have returned. Now, I don’t know that I will be back. Other stores sell flowers.

Negative experience: Trash service, workers super lazy and unhelpful and it’s not just a one time thing is every time i go in, honestly do not recommend, and leaves stuff in the wrong place for pricing, and gives you attitude on top of that. unreal wouldn’t recommend this shop to my worst enemy lmao. edit: Reply is always “is Valentine day and we are busier than usual” yet I mentioned in my review that it wasn’t just Valentine day As I have been in there multiple times and quite literally the only one in the store yet same bad service. that reply is an excuse rather than taking accountability. again wouldn’t recommend this shop.

We are very sorry to hear of your experience in our shop. Believe it or not, Valentine's is one of the busiest days of the year for us, with over 1000% foot traffic from a typical day. Because of this we can not make custom bouquets or arrangements, and every item for sale is as-is with no modifications allowed.

Our staff is immensely knowledgeable in the floral-verse, with unique expertise in designing and creating amazing bouquets and arrangements, as well as providing service to each and every customer that walks through our doors. If a sign is in a wrong place, it was likely not intentional, and although we wish we could have the staff to make sure everything is constantly priced correctly, and every customer is able to have us create a custom bouquet on the spot, we unfortunately cannot realistically fulfill those expectations.

We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, quick queue times and immense selection. Our staff goes above and beyond to help customers, however on a day where we are in a constant state of go-go-go, sometimes we are unable to see that every customer receives ample time and attention. We do appreciate your feedback, but urge you to understand the frenzy and chaos these major holidays put on the service and specifically the floral industry. We always recommend ordering ahead of time, so we can ensure that you receive whatever you are looking for.

We sincerely apologize for your experience and hope you can understand our perspective. It was a very long day for us yesterday and while it may have been your first interaction with a florist that day, it may have been our thousandth interaction.

Negative experience: Worst shop for good the white dude was absolutely rude and unprofessional.

Hi there,
Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfill your request of a large bouquet on the spot, as we do need time to put them together. A time frame for your request was given, which was refused. We always recommend calling to inquire or place an order ahead of time if you need something specific, so that we have ample time to create what you are looking for.

We offered alternative options to you as you needed something immediately and we were unable to accommodate your request on the spot. Combining two bouquets into one takes time as well, since it is essentially is making a new custom bouquet.

Our kraft paper is our primary wrapping, as it repels the water and also protects from the cold. In the winter especially, it is our best option for protecting the flowers from freezing.

We offered options for items that were ready-made in our front cooler, and are very sorry you did not like the answer that was given to you. At Petals for Less, we strive to provide excellent customer service. However, we must be realistic with our time windows for creating custom bouquets. It takes time to prepare, process and create what you are looking for, and we do not want to rush in order to ensure that you're getting what you want.

We are very sorry for any inconveniences caused and do wish you the best in finding a shop that can accommodate your requests on the spot.

Fantastic experience: I had a minor issue with the christmas arrangment that I order for delivery. I have ordered from here for the past three Christmas and always exremely happy with the arrangents of the flowers and were very long lasting. Fantastic experience: Walked in looking for a small black and red combo arrangement. They had none, but quickly offered to make one in 15 min! They went above and beyond, helped me pick out flowers, talked pricing/ budget, and created the most beautiful arrangement! So fast, easy and had the most polite staff. Highly recommend! Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for years, but my 5 star review today is because of a newer employee named Carolyn. She is absolutely AMAZING! So kind, helpful and informative. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and when I tried to tip her she insisted on sharing her tip with the rest of the staff. Negative experience: I received a beautiful bouquet from my family in Ottawa for my 65th birthday on August 2nd. They seemed fresh ,but they started wilting fairly quickly.I made sure to water them. Everytime I did I found water on the table, but figured I must have over watered. I put them on a plate, but the water was still there. When they were dead, I started to take the arrangement apart. Low and behold there was a break in the pot that the arrangement was put in and a major crack. Most of the flowers were not fully immersed in the foam. Which meant they were not getting water.Truly unfortunate My family I am sure paid quite a bit of money and wanted me to enjoy them. Just very sad that this occurred and I did not see it before the arrangement died so quickly.THANK YOU FOR YOUR Responding to my REVIEW.Unfortunately I did not know about the 5 day time limit.I definitely would have used it.I wish I knew about it. Negative experience: my partner ordered a bouquet of roses today for delivery that costs 59.99 + tax that costed him 70$. when i unraveled the roses one by one to cut the stems to put in the jar, i saw one rose where its stem was broken and they tried to "fix" it by stapling it upright. i wouldve let it slide if it was supermarket/costco flowers but this is a flower shop, no? supermarket/costco bouquets even take out the thorns for u. bouquets from other flowershops also take it out but idk y u guys dont.

We are very sorry for the poor quality control we had over the roses you received in your Skip the Dishes order yesterday.

We always recommend reaching out to Skip the Dishes customer support directly for any issues with orders as they handle all transactions and are able to assist with any complaints or concerns regarding orders.

Unfortunately, the only price we control on Skip the Dishes is the item price. All taxes, additional charges and delivery fees are out of our control and shown directly in a price breakdown before an order is placed.

As for the staple in the rose, we are very glad you provided photos as this is something that should not have happened and is honestly quite a peculiar instance. Because that is not a normal paper staple, it is not something we even have at our shop and it seems that the staple that binds the packaging the roses come in pierced the cardboard and somehow snagged one of the stems. Now while it was not intentional and an extremely rare occurrence, it definitely should have been noticed by our staff when the bouquet was made and we are very sorry for any inconveniences caused by this.

We do dethorn roses for any single rose stems or roses that will be handled individually, however we tend to stray away from excessive dethorning of roses for bouquets. Any wounds from removing the thorns on the stem of the rose severely increases the chance of bacteria getting into the stem, which can reduce the lifespan of the flower. We choose to leave thorns to increase the lifespan of the roses, as do many florists.

We're very sorry to hear to your displeasure with the bouquet you received and would be happy to try and make it up to you for the stapled rose. Please contact us via email or over the phone and one of our staff would be happy to assist you.

Thanks kindly for your understanding and bringing this to our attention. Going forward, we now know to take extra care unbundling the roses from our suppliers and ultimately avoid any hidden staple attacks!

Negative experience: I have never seen such poor staff in my entire life. The lady that I was annoying at the counter was more interested in talking to her colleague. She had no interest in helping me pick out flowers whatsoever. I will never go back there again and I will be sure to pass this information to my friends. On top of the poor service from this incompetent person, most of the flower arrangements seem to be close to dead. I would give zero stars if I could ! After placing this review I decided to read other reviews and the comments by management. It appears that there seems to be a common problem with customer service at this store. The other problem looks to be from management and their lack of accepting responsibility and ignoring the problem. I hope others will read these reviews before going to this store

Negative experience: I've been coming to buy flowers for both my girlfriend mother and daughter for years and years for almost every occasion. I've recommended them to almost anyone who asks or is looking and have always received upstanding service. Today was much different. Who ever the person they hired to be in charge this day was the most belligerent awful person I've delt with I'm long time. Her condescending, irritating and quite honestly just rude attitude towards my questions and requests have lost these people a customer for good. Ive spent 1000s over the last ten years here.No longer will I recommend this place or will spend another dollar of my hard eared money. Thanks for the experience ladyhope you feel powerful flower girl. ( AND BY THE WAY all I did was ask politely to put dragons breath in the flowers. Would have taken all of 1 min. Sorry you felt that was too much work. I'll never be spending money at your store again. Your a goof. And your flowers are over priced anyway.

As you know, Valentine's is one of our busiest day of the year, and with it on the weekday, it means the entire week books up quite quickly, and we were booked up for custom orders by Sunday unfortunately. With that, we are unable to accommodate all the custom requests we normally do on a regular day, though we did offer for you to pick up at a later time. I can assure you our staff was being as pleasant as possible, as we pride ourselves on our customer service. Negative experience: Very bad experience with their delivery. No respect for a surprise delivery times that was agreed on. Completely blown the surprise by a phone call to the receiving partner. Very bad service.

The staff/coworkers called your recipient to let them know, as we didn't have access to their phone number. The only contact number we had was yours, like we stated on the phone when we spoke yesterday after the delivery. Along with this, there was no indication on the order itself about a surprise, nor that it had to be delivered at a specific time, (which was not agreed upon as we don't guarantee exact delivery times, only approximate times due to the large number of orders our shop gets daily). The only information provided was when they started the shift, but we did not agree that we would deliver it at that exact time, and while our delivery company we use does their best to meet delivery requests, we cannot guarantee them. I'm sorry to hear you think we disregarded your wishes, but we did everything we could with the information you provided, and we feel we don't deserve a 1 star review for something we did not do. Negative experience: We purchased a $70 bouquet of flowers (including shipping fees) for a family that was grieving and had them delivered. After seeing the photos of what was sent we were so dissappointed in the quality of the flowers. My experience with Petals for Less in Edmonton left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. This florist shop fell short in several aspects, resulting in a less-than-pleasant experience. First and foremost, the quality of the flowers I received from Petals for Less was far from satisfactory. They were wilted and lacked the freshness I expect from a reputable florist. This lack of quality was particularly disheartening, especially given the price I paid for the arrangement. Customer service was another letdown. The staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful when I expressed my concerns about the poor quality of the flowers. There was a lack of empathy or willingness to rectify the situation, leaving me with a sense of frustration and disappointment. Furthermore, the shop's website and online ordering process were clunky and outdated. Navigating the site was not user-friendly, and it was challenging to find the specific arrangements I wanted. Delivery was also problematic, as the flowers arrived late and in worse condition than when they were ordered. In summary, my experience with Petals for Less in Edmonton was marred by poor-quality flowers, lackluster customer service, and a frustrating online shopping experience. I would caution others to consider alternative florists in the area to ensure a more satisfactory experience when purchasing flowers.

Per our conversation earlier, we had the bouquet made up to above the price point specified and made a bouquet as close to the provided image as possible. The reference photo was for a bouquet which was double the price of the one ordered. The photo of the bouquet you provided shows only healthy, specialty flowers in a beautiful all-around bouquet. While the side view photo showed primarily hydrangea greens, that is only one side of the bouquet, another angle would show many more healthy flowers. While we understand your continued frustration, hopefully this past year has given you a chance to find another preferred florist in the area. As we expressed initially, the photo you provided us showed no evidence of poor quality flowers, and we had ultimately concluded your real frustration was that the flowers were not made up more than double the cost/size of what they should have been. We worked with your budget to create a beautiful bouquet as close to the provided image as possible. We do offer a 5-day guarantee on our flowers, and if the photo did show evidence of poor quality, we would have happily replaced or credited the flowers.

When you placed this order, you referenced a previous bouquet off of our instagram at @edmflowersltd for what you wanted made up. We did our best to match the bouquet based on the price point you gave us. If you had opted to select one of the hundreds of bouquets/arrangements off of our website instead, you would have found the price, size, and photo all in one place. You did not place the order online.

We do not guarantee specific delivery times at our standard delivery rate. However if you wish to schedule a delivery for a specific time, we do offer rates to ensure flowers are delivered before specified times. The delivery was made before 4pm (and again, based on the photo we received, the flower quality had nothing to do with your initial complaint.)

To summarize, we did what we could with the instructions and budget we were given to make up a beautiful bouquet based on a photo of a custom bouquet on our social media. You did not use our website for this order, as it was a custom-piece. (We do offer designers choice options on our website, but for specifically chosen flowers and styles, we recommend reaching out in-person or on the phone to order so your recipient receives exactly what you were hoping for.)

We are very sorry with your unsatisfactory experience. As a business, going forward we would advise you to bring up all of your displeasures initially, rather that editing your original review over a year later with false grievances.

Negative experience: Terrible store with terrible service. The flowers are in mega lousy quality, looks okay in the bouquet, but when you take the packaging off half of the flowers crumbled. If you could put 0, I would. Expensive poor quality flowers

With over 35 years of excellent customer service, we are one of the busiest flower shops in Edmonton with fresh product arriving daily from all over the world and we strive to ensure every bouquet is made from fresh, quality flowers. Being open every single day of the year, we usually are able to accommodate for any requests, but due to you arriving after our designers had left for the day we were unable to fulfill your wishes for a large custom arrangement. We had offered to make up a custom bouquet similar to what you were looking for but you opted to leave the shop instead. When you returned, it was unfortunately too close to closing to make up any custom bouquets which is why we directed you to our in-store cooler with plenty of options for same-day premade bouquets. The bouquets you selected were made fresh that day so we guarantee they were of the best possible quality. Rest assured, our prices are competitive with any flower shop within the city, and with a little research, I guarantee you would arrive at the same outcome.

Negative experience: Beware!!! Ordered sympathy arrangement online. Luckily I had picked up as the arrangement was unacceptable. It was made with flowers that were hanging and drooping, completely inappropriate especially for the occasion. The manager at the time agreed so I ended up replacing the arrangement out for one in the cooler. It was priced less than my original order. They would not refund the difference but instead they offered in-store credit which they said they’d keep on file. Came in today for another sympathy arrangement and to use my credit and they refused as they said it was expired (manager said I was told at the time). I was NOT told that there would be an expiration if that was the case I would insisted a refund for the original unacceptable/botched order. The instore credit is actually my money and should be honored! Especially since they should have provided a refund in the first place! Beware - 1. online orders can be unacceptable subpar/poor and inappropriate sell 2. They do not offer refunds when they are at fault with substandard product. 3. They do not honor instore credit.

Hi Cheryl & Randy, I completely understand where your frustration is coming from, as not knowing something expires can be disappointing. However, it is a store policy of ours that store credit is to be used within a year, and it is dated a year from the original problem. As such, your store credit expired November of 2022, and your initial experience (which it seems was negative, however we did our best and you left happy at the time) would have been November of 2021. It is also mandatory for our staff to let every customer know upon giving store credit that it expires in one year - so I'm confident our staff followed that protocol, as the managers you spoke to today, would have been the ones helping you back then. Though with it being so long ago, I completely understand how it could have slipped your mind. It is also our store policy to offer store credit OR a replacement arrangement when we've missed the mark with our flowers, as they are perishable items. It appears we gave you both options, to make sure you were happy. We always do our best to get our flowers as close as possible to the photo you see when ordering (like in 2021), and upon hearing your displeasure, we fixed that situation to the best of our ability. When we've made a mistake, we always do our best to rectify it. I'm sorry to hear you are so unhappy with our store policy, but I assure you, we do honor store credit, when it is within the year to be used. We unfortunately cannot follow up with those who have credit to make sure they know to use it. It is the recipient's responsibility to keep track of their own store credit. Negative experience: Was looking to get a bouquet and 9 individual flowers. The gal at the desk was not helpful, the premade bouquets were simple with nothing special. Most of the flowers were wilted. I walkout and found another florist.

We always direct people to our walk-in cooler first , to see if something we have pre-made catches their eye, or to get ideas of what they want customized based on the wide selection of fresh flowers, and greens that we have in stock! If nothing is up to the expectations of what you are looking for, we are always more than happy to help create a custom bouquet if/when asked!

As for the individual flowers, we are one of the few shops that let customers pick and choose their own single flowers and we like to give you that option! If you needed more help we would have absolutely been happy to help, had we been asked.

Our flowers are checked regularly throughout the week, and are kept as fresh and clean as possible! Again, our apologies for your experience and if you come in again, please don't hesitate to reach out should you have any questions, we'd love to turn your next visit into a positive one!

Negative experience: Hopefully this reaches the right audience. This review has everything to do with the service I received and not the actual products offered. Outstanding selection as always, but the two girls on shift March 18th around 5:00pm were anything but. When I entered I was greatly fairly warmly by the one with brown hair but her co-worker proceeded to say any “ANYWAYS” as I entered the cooler as if I was interrupting her conversation. I was not offered any kind of assistance while browsing .. they were much to busy enjoying their loud and frankly inappropriate conversation. Upon cashing out I was assisted by the other one… while still continuing her conversation (rude). She tried to charge me for a full dozen roses before self correcting and realizing it was a half. Lastly I asked her not the wrap the flowers and she proceeded to tell me in a very condescending tone I might add “It’s for the weather.” Which mind you makes perfect sense .. had I not been going to put them on a grave; I replied just that. Unfortunately as beautiful as flowers may be, sometimes the reason behind them isn’t so pleasant. A reminder to the people that work there.. sometimes a smile and some good customer service can do wonders on a otherwise bad day. I hope she sees this and is able to make the necessary corrections to her sales approach. Better yet if she is so bothered by helping people perhaps a different job is in order.

Negative experience: I usually get all my floral arrangements and fresh cuts from here (birthdays, grads, funerals, for office coworkers, Mother’s Day, dance competitions and shows, or just flowers for myself). I’ve ordered from here or walked in on many occasions over the years and usually almost the first place I think of when I need to get flowers. They are reasonably priced and have a good variety of different florals and foliage that I can’t get elsewhere. Today is Valentine’s Day and I called in at about 2:30pm to ask if I can just pickup 15 floral sleeves for a DIY. My daughter and I usually do this every year and is a tradition and we enjoy doing it, for dance shows and competitions. The DIY consisted of: wrapping and tying a stem of rose and a foliage in a sleeve for each little dancer. Today wasn’t an exception I needed to wrap 13 roses with my daughter for dance. However the individual on the phone was quite adamant that they “couldn’t do it at this time (today)”. I asked nicely and explained why I needed to purchase some sleeves. But she wouldn’t budge, because apparently it is the busiest day of the year for them. So I have these florals sitting in water on my counter that I won’t be able to hand out to these dancers. I was honestly quite upset and disappointed, almost angry, that they couldn’t accommodate for such a small request. But I guess it was because it was too small for Vday and wasn’t worth their time and effort. I honestly don’t know how hard it is to count out 15 sleeves and charge me $1 each if you like. I would also wait in line to buy them like every other customer. So kinda frustrated that something that seemed so simple wouldn’t be considered because it was too small in their books. Every time I would call in advance to make sure they had them available and as a courtesy before popping in. They were great in having them ready for me each time in the past but I was prepared to line up and wait to buy them today. Just placed a bulk order on Amazon for sleeves and water picks for our future DIYs.

Secondly, we apologize for your disappointment in not receiving the sleeves you were hoping for with your last minute needs. While typically we can meet those immediate requests, unfortunately on the busiest days like Valentine's Day, we shut down all new orders, be they flowers, vases or supplies (such as sleeves) a few days before. By no means was your request too small, and ordinarily we would've happily been able to supply you with sleeves. Though it might seem like an easy request, we were simply following holiday protocol - if we were to favour your late request, it would've been unfair to others who we had already said no to, that late in the day. We always advise ordering sooner rather than later for any type of order, big or small, around the busy holidays.
We understand your frustration, but as we mentioned on the phone, it was simply too busy for a new order of any kind, and we did our utmost to provide you with other solutions.

Negative experience: Worse flower place in town. Order flowers for my girlfriend on her birthday ask the girl to drop them off by noon, if they could they didn’t deliver untill 4:00. Worse service they don’t even know their own delivery schedule. Would not recommend to anyone.

In regards to your message, as per our multiple phone conversations, we stated numerous times that we cannot guarantee specific delivery times (i.e. before noon) and that it would be delivered sometime between 9am and 4pm. This was mentioned in your initial call to place the order as well as every follow-up call, each of which you hung up on us mid-sentence. Our delivery driver's records note that the order was delivered at 1:42pm - well before 4pm, when she would be off work as you stated over the phone. We told you the deliveries would be completed between 9am and 4pm. We deliver many orders each and every day, with an ever changing route and schedule which is why we cannot guarantee specific times. We make it priority to deliver during business hours, especially when it is stated they are at work.

I hope this clarifies the issue for you. Please give us a call if you have any other additional questions. If you see the call through to the end instead of hanging up on us, you may be happier with the outcome.

Positive experience: Beautiful flowers I was there to get gladiolus which they did have. Just not a big selection at the time I was there. I did get enough though. This is my go to place for flowers. Their flowers are beautiful and long lasting.

Fantastic experience: We had a family friend order what we thought was a funeral spray for my sister who passed, but after it was delivered to the funeral home, we were told it was a bouquet and we advised them it should have been a spray. The funeral called on our behalf and it was fixed ASAP, no extra charges as I’m pretty sure there should have been, and was delivered in time for her funeral the following day. Honestly so thankful for the great service and beautiful spray for my sisters coffin, thank you so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and a great selection of flowers at reasonable prices. I got a larger bouquet of mixed flowers and a box of chocolates to gift to a lady friend and it was around $36 including tax. The young lady put everything together very nicely and the lady receiving was very happy

Negative experience: Not happy. Bridal bouquet was NOT fresh and we ordered WEEKS in advance. Some parts were so bad. My brothers asked her to trim it. Never again. Edit: I live about a 7 minute drive from the store…. Flowers don’t turn that fast….

Hi Farah, firstly, I apologize for your disappointment with your bouquet. The flowers for your wedding were brought in by FedEx on March 3, hydrated and then made up fresh for your pickup. However, I know sometimes we leave guard petals on roses to keep the different textures and colours of the roses, especially with quicksand roses like in your bouquet, and that's what we trimmed off upon your brother's request. We've done thousands of weddings over the course of our time as florists, and this is our first complaint of this nature - we are very sorry for your experience with us. We assure you the flowers were fresh as we could get, and the bouquet looked beautiful while it was in our shop, but of course we can't speak for after it left our shop at 10am. Fantastic experience: I ordered online at 1am Nov.12th ON time for delivery in Edmonton the same day. My niece sent me photos around noon. Oh my goodness they were beautiful! Fantastic experience: I made a quick stop to purchase some flowers last minute. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I bought a vase as well and they cut the flowers and arranged them in the vase for me. I was in and out in 10 min. Prices were very reasonable. The flowers were fresh, beautiful, and long lasting. I’ll be back!

Positive experience: Beautiful flowers. On time delivery. Easy to use website. Only thing I'm disappointed in was the quality of the premium flowers. I expected it to have many more pink roses. The picture does NOT reflect what you will receive.
