Am absolutely beautiful experience, John (if I remember his name correctly, forgive me if im wrong in terrible with names) help put together and assembled a beautiful bundle of flowers to make my gift package come together and made it look beautiful! And even wrote the letter/card for me as an addition as my hand writing isn't that visually appealing and did exactly how I wanted and needed it to be. 10/10 wonderful store, beautiful flowers, and wonderful experience I shall be back! And he even refused to take a Tip, and we just had a wonderful conversation during this whole transaction which took me back and made me appreciate certain things more. Fantastic experience: Angel flowers provided the bouquets for my wedding day. They were beautiful and really captured the classic elegant look I was going for with white roses only with long stems. They are extremely reasonably priced and quality was superb. The only thing I would note is that they didn’t come in water but that was easily manageable. Thank you Angel Flowers!

I also picked out a few arrangements with tulips and peonies, and they were absolutely gorgeous too. The team put together everything just the way I asked, and when I wanted to make a couple of small changes afterward, they were super friendly and flexible about it. Negative experience: I honestly don’t know how Angel Flowers is still in business. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a flower company. I ordered a bouquet for my partner’s birthday, paid extra for same-day delivery, and what arrived was nothing short of embarrassing. First of all, the flowers showed up a full day late, completely ruining the surprise. When they finally did arrive, the bouquet looked half-dead—wilting petals, crushed stems, and nothing like the elegant arrangement shown on their website. It looked like it had been thrown together from leftovers no one wanted. Totally unacceptable, especially for the price I paid. To make things worse, customer service was non-existent. I sent two emails and called three times—no answer, no callback, no apology. Just radio silence. They clearly don’t care about their customers once they’ve taken your money. This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and completely lacking in quality control. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—go anywhere else. Angel Flowers turned a special moment into a frustrating mess, and I’ll never be ordering from them again

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to write a review for a while. I bought a large bouquet of flowers to take to my sister when she hosted Xmas for the whole family in 2023. To say she loved them is an understatement. The impression they made has lasted. Such that when I popped in to buy her a bunch again, maybe 3 weeks ago on a Sunday, her first question on receiving them was "Are these from the same place you bought from before?!" and I was delighted to answer in the positive. The first time I think I spent £60-70; the latter I spent £30-40. Unfortunately it's bad news for her hubby as they have set a benchmark that is proving difficult to match! Mostly I just want to say thank you Angel Flowers for creating beautiful bouquets at these price points. They made her - and my - day.

Negative experience: I want you (Store Owner) to know that I used to buy from your shop every time I visit Angel / Islington (see the last one I bought last time). But whoever was in charge of the shop today (14 Dec) was rude and condescending, accused me of pulling the bunch “all over”. I have already picked my bunch and only shifted to my right hand so I could pick it up properly as I had 2 bags on me, the heavy one on my left. He shouted from his spot at the till (with the other customers nearby) reprimanding me. I said, okay and I had already picked my bunch and I was getting that. I would have let that pass. BUT When I corrected him that I was NOT "pulling it all over", he had to reply "but I was watching you" in a condescending manner implying he did not believe me!! But that person was more than 6 feet away from me and I already told him I wasn’t doing that. Because of his rudeness, I left this shop and you will not have my business in the future. Ruined an otherwise wonderful day I had in Islington. Update: I've read the reply below only now 'cause true enough, while I had been to Angel and Islington several times during the last quarter of 2024, I made it a point NOT to return to this store for flowers. Well...my updated view to your response (rather a cold non-apology, I'd say): No one was forcing you to serve me right away and I did not call your attention. You shouted from your end of the store where the till was. I was enjoying my day in fact and was in no rush. I cannot fathom how you "guess-timated" that I pulled out 6 berries, as noted from my review above, I had already too many things on my arm so was balancing that and trying to get the bunch that I wanted out from the bucket. Possibly, you looked at the bucket after I left or at the end of the day and faulted whatever damage you saw all to me-- if any -- or you "imagined" the number in your mind. I am sorry, but if you go on treating your customers that way, you will continue to lose trust, patronage and ultimately your business. Everyone is entitled to a 'bad day', so hopefully that was "that day". I am only one customer and I may not look much to you (it seems that you hardly recognise or remember your repeat customers anyway). I am fiercely loyal, and I'm a staunch supporter of local businesses, but it takes this sort of treatment to turn me off and never look back.

Negative experience: I wanted a causal bunch & a more special large birthday bouquet. I saw there was pre- made bunches in plastic (as you’d expect a pre wrapped bunch to look) and some loose stems. I went to take a wrapped bunch, & without even saying hello, I was told not to touch as those flowers hadn’t been prepped. I apologised. A French guy snapped and said ‘I don’t know why everyone thinks they are bunches ready to take’- I said it’s because they look like they are, and most florists offer ready made bunches. He said ‘I’ve been a florist for over 25 years and have never seen this’…. That’s obviously a lie and an Incredibly snobby comment. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but it certainly didn’t make me want to hand over my money, which is a shame as a local & loyal customer over the last 7 years living on Essex Road. I went and spent £120 at Dansk down the road. They were super kind, helpful & didn’t take offence at the audacity of me buying a pre wrapped bunch

Fantastic experience: I bought a number of small bouquets and buttonhole arrangements for my wedding, and they were all beautiful. My instructions were pretty vague other than colour and pointing out shapes I liked in the shop, and they made something I really liked that was just right for the occasion.

Negative experience: I ordered table flower for special occasion dinner in Frederick's. The bouquet for our table flower was very poor for the price I paid. Basically bouquet is made by just 2 flowers and leaf with bacic spiral. Our guest brought flowers and those flowers made our table gorgeous. The restaurant is very nice place so I'll go back definitely however I won't use this flower shop again and will order flower in other shop.

They were also able to accommodate me on short notice while they were obviously busy. Great gentlemen who put the flowers together talked about going to art school before becoming a florist. I think it shows as it was a work of art. Will definitely use them again.
