Fantastic experience: I went into the shop with not much of a clue to order flowers for my brother's funeral casket, all I knew was that I wanted autumnal flowers. Well, WOW..they were more than expected, they were beautiful, the florist picked up on what I had in my head and she brought it together. Thank you so much and I will be forever grateful to the beautiful arrangenent on a sad day x

Fantastic experience: Staff pleasant and patient. We have used them several times previously for wedding buttonholes but unfortunately this time it was funeral flowers. We had several requests for them but nothing was a problem. Flowers/colours can be changed in selected wreaths. The flowers were beautiful and the staff helped make a difficult task that,wee but easier

Negative experience: Totally unprofessional, tried to place order via phone chap took details then hung up the phone. Tried to phone back but kept getting hung up on. His loss for £100+ funeral flowers.

He gave me honest advice on after care and some great tips and tricks to make them last longer. The flower selection (and some plants) were great, and the prices even better-definitely returning in the near future for more!

Negative experience: i went into shop around 2.30 pm the day before my wifes birthday to order flowers eventually a lady appeared from the back of the shop i explained i wanted flower i was asked when i wanted them for i said the next day she responded by telling me she didn't have time as she was starving and needed to have lunch, i asked if i could call back later on in the afternoon but again i wastold she didn't know how long she needed for lunch break i then asked if i could get them delivered the next day and her reply again was i am starving and can't guarantee to have a delivery done before the next day at which point i told her to forget it. very rude

Fantastic experience: Mum received an exquisitely beautiful bouquet today, sent by her friend who ordered them via “Flowers by McDowell”. I’ve driven past the little shop 100s of times over the years but never used them in the past as it’s sometimes tricky to park nearby. That said, next time It’s someone’s birthday, I’ll definitely make a special effort to use this florist. The quality of the flowers was second to none. No broken stems or semi-withered buds...they couldn’t have been fresher or more well-selected for colour and style. Top marks!

Negative experience: I made the order online and i did not received any email confirming receipt. At 12am of the day scheduled , thr delivery was not yet happened. I had to call from abroad to find out the delivery status. The outside deck is totally different from the one requested. Deeply disappointed because it was a gift for someone special. Absolutely not recommended. The worst service i ever had. I answer here: I have been sent photos of the flowers received. Lilies aside, there is more paper than flowers. It absolutely does not come close to what is seen on the site

Negative experience: Found their customer service skills to be severely lacking. If I was asked for three words to sum up my phone call it would be dismissive, uninterested and condescending. They also may want to update their opening hours as they’re advertised incorrectly. Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, it doesn’t cost anything to be polite and courteous especially to a potential customer.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the bouquet they arranged for my order. They were very responsive and happy to swap out some flowers based on my preferences. Fresh, colorful, and fragrant flowers packaged beautifully. The best part was the message on the card was written down in a very nice hand-writing and they also illustrated some of the emojis I had put down with care. I did not expect that : ) ...
