Negative experience: Very very disappointing. Charged £60 and requested two pretty, feminine bouquets. Got a couple of roses and some half dead carnations wrapped in ugly brown paper and tied with a royal blue bow. Have used this shop for years but this will be the last time.

Negative experience: I’m really sad to be writing this, as I always try to support local businesses. The bouquet I received arrived with most of the roses already at the end of their life and they wilted very quickly. I contacted the shop twice, and the sender also followed up through the original order chain, but after a 5 weeks we’ve never received a reply. It’s disappointing to have been ignored after trying to resolve things privately, especially given the high cost and sentiment behind the gift.

I’m genuinely very impressed. I’ve been in the shop a few times and the gentleman that owns it is very pleasant. The flowers were very reasonably priced for how many she received. They make beautiful seasonal arrangements, their flowers are always fresh and all the house plants that I have bought there are healthy. Fantastic experience: Had flowers delivered to my door from a friend using Fioritalia for my birthday a while back, and was so pleased with thoughtful packaging and handwritten message. Bouquet itself was gorgeous and lasted a few weeks. Also I have bought a few houseplants from here, including my giant bird of paradise (which was delivered to my door), yucca and monstera - all of which are still growing strong! Highly recommend Fioritalia for your floral and/or houseplant needs.

Fantastic experience: honestly this is hands down the best flower shop I have ever bought from. the owner has a *wonderful* accent and is so clearly passionate about the business. in my experience a bouquet from here looks like something you would pay 25-50% more elsewhere. even with less expensive flowers the arrangements are always dead on and there is life in them with a mixture of flowering and unflowered plants. I love it.

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite florist in Edinburgh. If I am ever looking to give flowers as a gift I always go here, even if it is out my way it is always worth the journey. I can spend £25 to £65 (one in the photo) and no matter what price they are they are always beautiful and we'll received.

Fantastic experience: I received flowers from some friends using Fioritalia. A lovely bouquet, very thoughtfully packaged. I could have left them in the box, which functions as a default vase if wanted, which was appreciated since we were in mourning and had recently moved, so didn't necessarily have a lot of bandwidth or access to vases (as it happened, we had both). Delivered kindly and professionally.

Fantastic experience: Stunning arrangement; very well priced. I phoned mid-morning to arrange to purchase a bouquet and the flowers were ready for collection early this afternoon in beautiful packaging. The arrangement was superb, on par or perhaps better than with the image I saw online, and the recipient was very happy to receive them. The colleague I contacted had a great manner and the collection was quick and easy. Positive experience: Floritalia is a small neighbourhood florist/plant shop with a relatively limited range of stock, but great quality houseplants & flowers. The owner is usually working whenever I go in and he is always able to provide loads of advice and information about what I'm looking for or interested in buying. The prices are great value, especially for house plants, and the cactus & fiddle leaf fig plant I bought over a year ago are still in good condition & were well looked after by the shop when I first got them. If you're in the area it's worth looking at but you might not find what you're searching for if you have something specific in mind.

Fantastic experience: Fioritalia did my wedding flowers last month and I was totally delighted with them! Giovanni was really helpful and took the time to discuss all my many questions. They created my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets (pictured below), the buttonholes for the men, and a foliage canopy in the church - all of which were stunning. I didn't have a set idea of what kind of flowers I wanted, but gave a budget and colour scheme which Fioritalia worked to. The flowers they delivered on the day totally exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommend them as wedding florists!

Positive experience: Been in here a good few times now and always get the same smiley, knowledgeable faces to help me out. I'm not too clued up on flowers for events/situations etc so it's always handy to make sure you're not buying something silly! As well as this I have a friend who has some specific allergies which the folks here have helped with twice now - making sure there are no flowers of a certain type(can't remember for the life of me - but they would!).
