Fantastic experience: We have used this company to send flower to our relatives in NZ. They are always happy with them and they are just like the online picture. It's refreshing to find a company online to does what they say, especially when we are overseas.

Negative experience: Poor customer service As a long time customer of wild poppies, I was very disappointed after finding out first hand how unprofessional and unresponsive their customer service team is. My wife ordered some flowers for her mother's 60th birthday in November. The flowers arrived bent and broken so my wife sent and email with a photo advising that the delivery was not up to their usual standard. The customer service rep replied saying " the driver must have squashed the flowers, as it is almost closing time we will follow up with you tomorrow morning". Obviously we got no follow-up. My wife replied to the email another 3 times throughout November and December and got no reply. Great service. Still waiting on a reply. I ordered flowers for 14th Feb, just like everyone else. 14th Feb goes by and no flowers. 15 Feb, still no flowers. 16th Feb at 3pm I give them a call regarding the order and I have been advised that they just "forgot" my order and it slipped through the cracks somehow. My wife sent a follow-up email which still has not been acknowledged. Really disappointed at their service and won't be receiving our business anymore.

Fantastic experience: Just ordered cupcakes and they were delivered an hour later! Always the best service from these guys. Absolutely recommend.

Positive experience: Okay experience, had to follow up multiple times regarding my order. Flowers were nice though

Negative experience: Extremely rude customer service and failure to cancel order I emailed on 5 February to cancel my flower order scheduled for 14 February. I also called the following day and spoke to a lady who was very helpful and advised me to email, assuring me the team would cancel it. A few days later, I called again and was told the order had been cancelled, despite still receiving no reply to my email. However, on 14 February, the flowers were delivered anyway. I emailed again immediately. On 17 February, after calling five times, I finally got through. The man who answered was extremely rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. When I asked when I would receive a response, he said he had “no idea” and that it was “up to the owners.” He then blamed a “busy week” and responded with “no you don’t know” when I said I understood. There was no apology at any point, despite the fact that I gave more than enough notice to cancel and was explicitly told the order had been cancelled. This situation reflects poor internal communication and unacceptable customer service. The person who handled my call on 17 February needs retraining in basic professionalism, respect, and how to apologise for mistakes and delays.

Fantastic experience: I ordered super grade red roses, and they are so beautiful and are so much larger than I’m expecting. Services online is great.

Fantastic experience: I have ordered from Wild Poppies on many birthday occasions. Their service is always reliable and timely. I made an error ordering for an urgent last minute delivery and was able to ring them to have this done sooner. They were able to accommodate it with no additional cost and got delivered just in time. Well packaged, good variety of flowers, gifts and messages.

Negative experience: I have been a loyal customer of Wild Poppies for a long time, but my recent experience was deeply disappointing. I ordered a "vibrant and colourful" snapdragon arrangement based on the warm oranges and reds pictured on their website. What was delivered was a pale, muted selection of whites and purples - a palette far more suited to a sympathy or funeral bouquet in my opinion. When I reached out, the response was dismissive. I was told the website is merely a "style guide" and that my perception of the colours was personal. This directly contradicts the Wild Poppies FAQ, which states: "if a particular flower variety is unavailable for whatever reason, we will substitute it for as close a match as we can get for both style and colour." There is no world in which white and purple is a "close match" for a vibrant orange and red palette. Despite their "100% satisfaction guarantee," no actual remedy was offered, and they have now stopped responding to my emails entirely. It is a shame to see a local business I previously trusted fail so significantly on both product quality and basic accountability. I won't be ordering from them again.

Fantastic experience: Order a Special Cake for delivery 30/01/26 to Mayne Automotive, Onehunga There was a staff member there that looked after my car for 2 weeks Bryan his patience and service proved to me he was a really nice person. Did receive a msg from Bryan later that day and he said the parcel was lovely and they all loved it with gratitude. Thank you Wild Poppies for your great service. Ngā Mihi Sheryl

I ordered my flowers from the Netherlands and had them delivered to my aunt in New Zealand. She was so surprised by the large amount of beautiful flowers she received. Fantastic experience: When buying from overseas, it's hard to know if you have chosen the best available supplier. Wow, Wild Poppies are amazing. We have used them a few times now and their service and attention to detail is exemplary. We sent our daughter the Christmas Pedestal, gingerbread, cupcakes and fudge to her office. Everyone was jealous and impressed. Great value, delivered on time and truly represented on the website.

They’ve always pulled through with my last minute orders and even the complicated deliveries of delivering to a large public hospital. Have loved their weekly steals - flowers & cupcakes at reasonable pricing! Recently ordered the most beautiful purple shades bouquet for my sisters 40th. I loved that the chrysanthemum that featured in the bouquet which is also known by nickname as the Soccer Mum! Perfectly match for my sister and the era she’s in atm. Thank you Wild Poppies! Fantastic experience: Wild Poppies is my absolute go-to business for every occasion. I can always rely on them for quality and efficient service. Although I no longer live in Auckland, I still use them because I know my friends and family will feel my love, even in my absence, when they receive a beautiful WP gift.

Negative experience: I have received multiple flowers from my partner from this company and I’m sure he spends a lot on the gifts he buys me considering the prices on the website. However, at the start of august the roses were nearly dead (photo listed below), the petals were folded and just did not look fresh. I received a dozen of roses (fresh and nice) and not even a week later, they’re nearly dead too despite how many times I’ve changed the water etc, I don’t know.. for the prices you’re paying for, you would expect high quality flowers or at least some decent fresh flowers. I bought some from paknsave for my mother’s birthday and lasted until the end of Aug.. love the packaging but won’t be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: I used WP to send flowers and cakes to my siblings in NZ. I took a risk as I live in the UK so not personally aware of WP but read reviews and placed my order. All flowers were delivered rapidly and presented beautifully, so much so that one of my sisters was brought to tears. The cakes were fantastic quality also I am told! Will absolutely use WP for future flower delivery in NZ. Excellent service.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with my experience. As someone with floristry experience, I know exactly what goes into a quality bouquet which is why I ordered the bouquet shown in the first image for my MIL's birthday specifically because it contained no lilies - which she is extremely allergic to. What arrived was completely different: a handful of roses, lilies(which I deliberately avoided), one disbud, and a very random displaced looking protea?? Of the five flower types shown in the reference image - hydrangeas, gypsophila, lisianthus, delphiniums, and dahlias - only one was actually included in the bouquet I received. Not only was this a poor-quality arrangement that looked far cheaper than the $150 | paid (something similar from Farro would cost about $80), but I was embarrassed when she texted me a photo of the flowers - a bouquet full of flowers I knew full well she was allergic to. If they could only supply one out of the five flower types pictured, I would have appreciated being given the choice to either proceed with the order or cancel altogether, but instead, they just went ahead without consulting me. While I understand seasonal substitutions happen, this was unacceptable. There was no option to request "no lilies" during checkout, and my reviews warning others about this experience have not been published. I won’t be purchasing here again and urge others to think twice before ordering

Negative experience: I wasn't going to leave a review here but the way they handled my complaint has led me here. I ordered a cake and they charged $79 for a cake that didnt have the requested message. It wasn't properly finished. When I wrote a respectful complaint they told me that they didnt make the cakes and that the baker assured them their cakes were of good quality. Well I the customer assured them it wasn't. Disappointing to say the least.

Fantastic experience: Best florist store in Auckland. I buy from Wild Poppies regularly. I have never had a complaint from my partner. Every bouquet is met with a smile, hug and smothering of kisses and it's thanks to the consistency of Wild Poppies team. Sometimes I'm not able to make it to collect an order they will happily leave the flowers outside, in a safe covered area so I may collect. Negative experience: Flowers looked old, the petals were already turning a tinge of brown, it looks like they might last another day or two max. I thought this was a high end flower shop. I just went to new world and they had better looking/fresher flowers. I've ordered alot from many flower or gift shops, this was the worst quality, I was a bit embarrassed to give it as a gift.

At 4pm when it hadn’t arrived I messaged them and explained. They said it was no problem and got the cake on a courier immediately- delivered to me by 6pm on a crazy stormy Auckland Friday night. Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. Do not order if you are not in Auckland because you won’t get cupcakes and the only place this is made known is buried deep in their delivery information. A pop-up or warning should display on your order before checkout. Customer service also wont ring you to advise of issues but will just assume you have access to emails and then make decisions for you regardless. This is not okay as had I known if any substitutions I would have cancelled the order.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful flowers and cupcakes, our mum loved hers for her birthday! The team were also so accomodating and helpful when changes needed to be made to our order at late notice. We will definitely be using Wild Poppies again in the future.

Positive experience: I was really disappointed with the flowers I received. My son in England had upgraded to extravagant ($180) to ensure I received the nicest bouquet but unfortunately the flowers were old; two were soft already, broken stems, the leaves hanging limply and the roses were already losing petals. I did contact Wild Poppies and they said flowers were expensive at this time of the year due to flooding in the South Island and higher prices because of Mothers Day. My flowers only lasted a couple of days. Following on from my complaint, Wild Poppies reached out to me and sent another smaller bouquet of flowers that were in very good condition and have lasted well.

Fantastic experience: It's 8:27 now and I just finished eating the first of the four cupcakes with pink top, from my gift box my son and his wife bought for me as a gift with a beautiful colorful bouquet. The cup cake is so delicious and I love it. The box is beautifully designed with the color that match the the pink top of the cup cakes. It amazingly done and I believe my friends love to buy these beautiful gift for their friends and families on special o casinos. Fantastic experience: Wild poppies has been my go to florist over many years for many occasions, for birthdays, celebrations and most especially at times of loss. They have provided beautiful long lasting flower arrangements whether wrapped in paper or in beautiful vases that have been loved by every recipient I have sent them too. My most recent delivery was for a close relative who’d suffered so much loss in a short amount of time and Harry at WP got in touch to say they had run out of what I had ordered and that they would send off another beautiful bunch of equal value. I was so grateful for the quick communication and their thoughtful response. I will continue to use WP for all my flower gifts as they always come through every time.

Negative experience: $234 dollars for 6 cupcakes and flowers. Had upgraded the flowers to generous, well I can’t imagine what standard looks like. For daughters 18th and to be delivered to her at uni before her lectures. Email from company stated they would DEFINATELY deliver by 12pm. Didn’t happen. Blamed the driver and delivered when she was in lectures till 6pm. When I advised I was not happy, as my daughter was instructed to go to reception for a birthday surprise to find nothing, her first time away from home, they offered me 10% off next purchase. Not a reliable company or one that understands how special occasions work. Would not recommend, flowers very poor for the price.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, beautiful flowers and gift sets and the cupcakes are also delisious!! We live in Oz and still have family remaining in NZ and have used Wild Poppies now for many years, whenever we have family we have sent flowers to in NZ Wild Poppies has been our go to for flowers hands down!

Negative experience: Tried to organise a birthday surprise for my mother in law. Wild poppies tried to delivery on the wrong day, upon trying to fix this issue was told that we requested the delivery to be changed. Still no delivery at 5pm on her birthday. Rang to follow up and was greeted by the most appalling customer service we have ever received. Dismissive, unapologetic and shockingly rude yelling at us over the phone. No professionalism whatsoever. Once flowers finally arrived they were extremely disappointing, wilted and no where near fresh, mostly likely the same flowers they previously tired to delivery. Wild Poppies was not apologetic nor helpful. Wouldn’t provide a full refund or take ownership for their extremely expensive and highly disappointing service. Will NEVER be using Wild Poppies again and will be telling many others not to. Save your money, and go somewhere else!!

Negative experience: My partner bought me a rose bouquet from Wild Poppies for Valentine’s Day and I was very disappointed with the roses. The roses didn’t look fresh since we picked up and then the petals started falling as soon as we opened the bouquet. I used to receive different bouquet roses in the past and it lasted over 1 month. Below was the photo 3 days after we received the roses. I put the roses straight in water on the same day receiving the bouquet. Very disappointed and it was a waste of money. I will never recommend.

Negative experience: Actually abysmal how bad these lot are, called twice on valentines week to make sure they would get delivered to my partner, both times said yes and 100% guaranteed it would, called back on Valentine’s Day asking why hasn’t it been delivered and you liars told me no it can’t be delivered, just say you’re a business hungry for money and exploiting desperate customers. I will never recommend this place especially for Valentine’s Day or any special day. The worst.

Fantastic experience: Lifesavers! I accidentally scheduled my Valentine’s flowers for the wrong day (facepalm). I reached out to them in a panic, and even though they were overwhelmed and past the Valentine’s Day cutoff, they went above and beyond to get my order out early. The flowers arrived on time, and my girlfriend was thrilled! I have no idea how I would’ve explained a Saturday delivery to a closed address—crisis averted! thank you so much guys A++. great service

Fantastic experience: Wild Poppies have got me out of trouble today. (Wedding anniversary). Same day delivery (delivered a few hours after I ordered) and I have a very happy wife with the flowers and other bits I got. Thank you so much Wild Poppies for making our ten-year wedding anniversary that little bit better.

Negative experience: their customer service is responsive however they failed to meet the brief TWICE. Overpriced for what you get, I've seen better at the supermarket or diary. my husband got me a bouquet for our anniversary, the flowers came already half wilted and looking sad, I emailed them about it which they said it is sometimes out of their control when the courier provider doesn’t keep up their end of the bargin. the flowers clearly weren't fresh, but according to them it was damaged by the courier. I was given a partial refund on a gift card, which I thought I'll give them a second chance. I specifically rang them for my second order, wanting a Pastel Pink bouquet with no greeneries for a special occasion that had a colour theme, I ended up getting a LILAC bouquet with lots of green...I called and ask why this was the case, the lady told me the hydrangeas are really fresh that's why they are green but will turn pink overtime, and the rest they just used what fresh flowers they had available at the time. Why have options for different colours on your website if you cannot provide the one the customer wants? As for the hydrangeas, no they did not turn pink even after a week, while the rest of the flowers died and had to be chucked out. I ended up buying another bouquet from my local supermarket because this one couldn't be used for the event. $300+ wasted, will never purchase from them again.

Negative experience: my order never arrived and i have had no response from WP. They tried to tell me it had been delivered and that the courier driver had called me on delivery, which they had not and i asked WP to provide proof of this, but they have opted to ignore my emails instead. i spent $200 here and none of it arrived. the customer service is absolutely appalling and the lack of care is insane. they will not reply or refund my order.

Beautiful is an understatement as they look like that "Ray of Sunshine" which described my beautiful Mum and sent to me by my friends on her passing. Wild Poppies Team a BIG thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have used wild poppies for corporate gifting many times and always had incredible service and Feedback, every client who received flowers from me had rave reviews. But today to my surprise I got to be on the Receiving end! I got some tulips and cupcakes, the delivery was so good he walked all the way down our path to make sure they got delivered to me (very very long path!) the flowers are gorgeous and the cupcakes were equal. I cannot recommend WP Enough

Fantastic experience: THE BEST FRIGGING CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I ordered a live plant in a beautiful ceramic pot for $99 + personalized card and a candle (all beautiful) with overnight delivery(it was a last minute gift) for my mums birthday in May. The gift arrived on a Thursday, well within the timeframe given however, the ceramic planter was fractured and the plate had been smashed to pieces(obviously the fault of the courier), however I reached out to Wild Poppies customer care and explained what had happened and Jye was incredible to deal with, very open and willing to remedy the situation even though WP was not at fault. There were no questions asked and no hesitation to replace the planter. She advised that the same planter would be sent to mum on the next courier and it will be double wrapped this time. My mum received her new planter two days later on the Saturday. We are both sincerely grateful and we will forever recommend Wild Poppies to everybody, you are an amazing service and we have used Wild Poppies a couple of times since May. Still exceptional flowers and service. Thankyou!!

Negative experience: Lovely flowers, but surprising additional delivery fees. I ordered flowers for delivery (to the same address I've had flowers delivered to before without issue) and got a call the next day asking for an additional delivery fee. Would much prefer any additional charges are up front at checkout, being called on the day of delivery and asked for an extra fee is not ideal. I would not recommend for anything other than inner city delivery because of this.

Fantastic experience: It was overwhelming looking for flowers to send for a baby gift. I found Wild Poppies, their website was easy to use and they had that most beautiful flowers with the option of sending cupcakes too I called to check the order had gone through and they were so helpful making sure I had written the right things in the notes for the delivery. Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I went to collect my order (Flower's for my daughter graduation). Unfortunately, the order hadn't been seen and actioned prior to my arrival. But they rectified the situation in less than 5 mins. Everyone was so kind and it wasn't a problem. Mistakes happen - but it is how they are dealt with that gives a measure of the people. The lovely ladies are Wild Poppies are exceptional. The flowers were pretty bloody too.

Was worried about the delivery making it on time & being received properly (was sent to an office/corporate location) but everything was smooth sailing. Fantastic experience: I used Wild Poppies last year for a beautiful hamper for my daughter. So when she had premature twins I wanted to do something similar when they came out of hospital. I filled in the online form but there was a small problem with one of the items I ordered. Jye got in touch and couldn't have been more helpful! Alternative suggestions were made - because of the location the delivery was going to be later than I hoped- but Jye worked magic and my daughter received the most beautiful flowers, vase and delicious cake two days earlier than I thought. She was absolutely thrilled and made more special as I am in the UK and my daughter in New Zealand. Thankyou so much for going above and beyond- cant tell you how much I appreciate it.

Negative experience: On 31 March, I ordered the sunflower bouquet and selected a delivery date of 4 April. When tracking the delivery of the flowers, I noted that the flowers were sent from the florist on 2 April and were not delivered to my friend until 8 April. I understand that rural deliveries are difficult, however, her flowers were delivered to a shop that was not open on weekends and therefore were wilting further over the additional two days. Remarkably the flowers did surprisingly well after trimming and putting in cold water, however, their short life can only be attributed to the 6 days they had without water/constant refrigeration. I would not recommend this company for flower delivery, as the flowers themselves cost $69NZ and delivery was a further $49NZ.

Fantastic experience: The flowers were prettier than I thought, as shown in the picture. My fiance was also satisfied. And they are very kind to me. If I have to buy flowers again next time, I plan to buy them here.
