Negative experience: This is a bit of a late review. My friend ordered me some sympathy flowers and this was the message card I got. From what I could remember, the flowers were very beautiful but it was unforgivable they added the wrong message card.

Negative experience: After I placed this honest review, I was shocked to receive an email calling me a vile person for leaving this review * see photo of email*. The flowers were falling apart, and I raised a genuine concern every customer’s right. Instead of addressing it professionally, he responded with hostility and intimidation. I will be sharing this entire experience across social media to warn others about his unacceptable behavior. Dying soggy flowers dismissive and Zero Care for Customers. * Absolutely nothing was given for free I paid for everything each flower nothing was explained see the emails for their true colours* I received a bouquet with visibly wilting, soggy hydrangeas. To call clearly dying, soggy hydrangeas “slightly bashed” and tell me to simply “nip off” the damaged parts is condescending and dismissive of a legitimate complaint. Suggesting that flowers “need some maintenance” from the buyer is an insult, shifting responsibility away from the florist’s poor quality control.As a customer, I found this response not just disappointing but utterly disrespectful. Blaming “transit” damage when I personally collected and carefully transported the bouquet is both misleading and shows a lack of honesty. The tone of the reply feels defensive and arrogant, expresses disappointment that I’m not happy as if my expectations for fresh, quality flowers are unreasonable. A genuine professional would have acknowledged the issue and resolved it. What I received instead was condescension, deflection, and an attitude that suggests the customer is the problem for expecting standards to be met.There was more care put into excusing the damage than into the bouquet itself. The response carried no greeting, no apology, and no accountability just a patronising lecture and a sarcastic tone. This is not how customers should be treated. I will be posting a detailed video review with clear evidence of the condition I received. I urge anyone considering this florist to think carefully before trusting them with your purchase!

I’ve received flowers from David Wayman from my family and my partner on different occasions, on my graduation, on Valentine’s Day and my birthday. I loved all the bouquets I got. They were beautiful, I decided to buy flowers for my family when they came visiting. Fantastic bouquets, super talented florist, meticulous service. We composed the bouquet together based on what my mum liked, she loved it! Thank you so much for such fantastic job!

Negative experience: Please do not purchase from this company. Let me down on my birthday. Delivered flowers to my venue on the wrong day and they were then used by another party!! Provided an awful flower arrangement, considering I paid over £200. Then refused a refund

Used David Wayman Flowers for multiple occasions (birthdays/ friends/ family) and everyone has always loved them and stated how long they last. Really loved my latest visit where David gave me tips on how to make my roses last even longer!! Will continue to keep coming back!

Negative experience: I ordered flowers to be delivered to my Fiance on a very special day. They did not deliver it as requested and did not even pick up their phone. They answered after 7pm and delivered the next day. The flowers were nice but the card was disappointed. It was messy hand writing and missed a very important sentence which I wanted to express to my Fiance. In general,they ruined our special occasion.

Fantastic experience: Popped in for my friend's birthday to see if they could do a bouquet for her. She said pink was her favourite colour. I gave no notice but was delighted to be told to come back after our breakfast booking. I can't believe the beautiful arrangement that was waiting for her. She was blown away. Beyond beautiful, best service, stunning quality and fantastic value for money. I can't thank you enough for helping to turn her birthday around on a snowy day.

Negative experience: By far the worst florist I’ve purchased from. Ordered flowers for the 27th of November for my brother and sister-in-laws anniversary and they delivered it to the wrong address because there was a property with the same name in the same town and they failed to contact the recipient before delivering. Barely responded to my messages, the flowers were finally delivered on the 14th of December. They blamed me for their mistake and were so unprofessional and unempathetic. Safe to say I will never order from them again.

Hannah talked us through how to attach all different decorations to our wreaths, which we also had a plethora of, helped us make bows and overall ensured we left with the most gorgeous Christmas wreaths ever. Negative experience: I’m really disappointed with the flowers we received from this place. I specifically asked for a bouquet of flowers and swift delivery within 3 hours, as I do not have transport to get to the store so asked for delivery. I was told I would be receiving blue flowers with white roses, and also that they would spray blue spray onto the white roses to accommodate the BABY BOY THEME. The flowers are wilted and old, and mainly white. They cannot even be classed as blue flowers. I have attached pictures below. I paid a total of 48.00. 40 for the flowers and 8.00 for delivery. We also were not told the blue spray looks tacky as the owner has responded and said - they said they will be able to do this and did not call us to let us know they can not make the flowers blue. Note: I did contact them and addressed my concerns and my concerns were not addressed and instead was met with the man on the phone justifying why they have made it the way they did and he seemed upset I criticised the flowers. He offered a refund but it was too late to get a replacement. Only good thing was they made the flowers within 3 hours but seems like they made it with rubbish quality

Negative experience: My partner has got me 2 bunches of flowers from here and both times flowers have died in 4 days - the first batch the flowers won’t fresh to start with. Really cannot recommend - our Waitrose flowers last longer.

Fantastic experience: I recieved the dreamiest flowers from this florist last year. I was so impressed and they last ages so ever since I have been using them as a florist. I don’t live in Manchester but thankfully they have an online service where you can order and arrange delivery! They deliver far and wide which is amazing, you obviously have to pay more for it but they equally could’ve been a florist that said “we only cover greater Manchester, sorry”. The prices are worth every penny, quality is immaculate. Thankyou x

Positive experience: Unfortunately I would have loved to have given 5 stars. Due to the lack of response from my emails and the late delivery of the bouquet I cannot give 5 stars. I chose my order through David Wayman rather than an online florist as I like to support local company's. I had ordered the flowers to arrive before 12 as my daughter had her graduation. Unfortunately they arrived late and caused a delay which had a knock on affect for the rest of the proceedings. I also had to tell her that I had ordered the bouquet which ruined the surprise. I could have just taken flowers with me. I chased the delivery and was told they had been delivered, then they were on the way, then stuck in traffic. I understand that traffic can cause delays. However, i think that when you are in arranging deliveries this should be taken into account. Had I received a response from the email I sent I would have not felt it necessary to give such a low score.

Still no sign of the flowers 3 days later. Will be disputing with my bank to get my money back. Avoid UPDATE: finally got a response and refund issued

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers from overseas for a friend residing temporarily in Manchester. It was nice being able to transact with a florist directly and without third party. Everything was straightforward and swift. David wasn't kidding when he said "we'll take of it." Short of an hour after paying, I got a message from my friend that she got the flowers! My problem, though, was I had difficulty paying online. My card couldn't get through the merchant site despite coordination with the bank. Good thing that David has Paypal and was accommodating enough to allow me to the settle the fees thru PP. It was a pleasant, hassle-free experience. The flowers were nice and among all that I've seen around Manchester, DW's collection was bang for the buck!

Positive experience: This is a “grand” bunch @ £50, 2 sizes up from the smallest “petite”, which I would love to see, just for comparison. I expected a generous bunch of flowers for this price but this “grande” seems pretty average to me. Quality is good enough, but if you want to impress, grande just ain’t gonna cut it guys!
