Fantastic experience: Lovely plant shop, a beautiful range of healthy plants at good prices! A lot of what you would regularly find in plant stores and then some amazing special finds as well. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and don’t mind talking to you and breaking down detailed care information. Fantastic.

Negative experience: Plants very badly cared for, staff not bothered and quite abrupt. Visited on Wednesday 12th October at around 2-3pm I asked if they had this specific plant (Calathea Flamestar) that was on their website and the reply I got was “I don’t know, if you can’t see it we don’t have it” , which to me shows lack of interested , knowledge and professionalism. Never going back there again. Also the fact none of the plants had passport was a huge red flag to me as in all other stored I go to and buy plants from the plant passport is on the actual nursery pot, never been to a store that didn’t had them and I am not taking this part of this review down as I am not saying you not being compliant, all i’m saying is the fact that you don’t provide a plant passport with your plants bought in store is a red flag to me.

Positive experience: Ordered on line , disappointing result

Fantastic experience: Located on a dead end street next to Starbuck by the Market Street tram station, it offers both flowers and small plants. Pots are also sold here. We came for a quick flower arrangement (bouquet) and the staff happily assisted with good suggestions and picks. She was definitely having passions about her business and about interacting with customers. One happy customer here :)

Negative experience: Total rip off. When I asked the staff how much it was for a large saucer and she said £6. But today, it was selling for £4. Unbelievable.

Negative experience: Original review: "I'd like a bunch of flowers please" I asked. "Help yourself" was the staff member's reply. I was quite taken aback as I'd never been told to assemble my own bunch of flowers at a flower shop before. Said staff member was sitting behind the till and did not appear to be busy at the time. I looked around, saw mainly sad-looking flowers, including some completely withered sunflowers still in the pots for sale and so I left without buying anything. I ended up buying a beautiful bunch of flowers from another flower shop nearby. I would not recommend Flourish. *20/02/22 edit - I removed a single word from my previous review and unfortunately it's updated the review as being left today, so I've received the brill reply below from the owner. The experience happened some time back but I can assure you I am not a competing flower shop. It's as easy as checking the hundreds of other reviews I have left, most of which not in Manchester. Sorry if this revelation is a disappointment to the owner, but I am a real person who has a single sub-par experience. The response below shows the levels of customer service to be expected here I guess? I have accordingly decreased my review from 2 stars to 1. Cheers, MB

Negative experience: I visited the stall this morning and tried to buy, two Monstera plants. I stood with both the plants and tried to get the attention of the staff but they were more interested in listening to one another, talking about one of them having toothache. One of them looked at me and then looked away again to listen to his colleague. I put the plants down and walked away. The last time I tried to buy something, 2 other people were served before me and and the staff then ignored me and went inside the shop. I hope other people have better luck and not be treated so badly. I won’t be going there again.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic company. Purchased a few plants from them over the years and been happy with both the quality of the plants and the price. Unfortunately I had an issue with my latest purchase, but the team at Flourish were nothing short of fantastic with their response and dealt with the issue very quickly. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: This place caught my eye as I was walking down Tib Street. I'm not normally a plant person but they had some very nice looking plants on display. I had a look around and saw a small cacti type plant and decided it would look good on my desk. £5 seemed very reasonable for a city centre florist and the plant seemed in good nick so I decided to buy it. Fast forward a few months later and after a small amount of water and sunlight the plant has nearly doubled in size! Honestly I wasn't expecting much but clearly the stock here is of very high quality, definitely exceeded my expectations. I will soon be returning to buy more plants for myself and my family as gifts. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique gift. Thank you Flourish Manchester!
