Fantastic experience: I received the most kind and amazing service from staff at the flower lounge. I rang initially and organised a bouquet to be delivered to my neice who has just lost her mum. I rang back again the following day as I’d made an error in the delivery address. The staff sorted my error without delay and delivered the most beautiful bouquet to the correct address, quickly and without charge. I can’t speak highly enough of the Flower Lounge

Fantastic experience: Normally for Valentine's day I might be selecting a bunch from the bucket at the local garage but passing the shop, I thought that the delay was gorgeous and decided to splash out. I ordered a large bouquet in plenty of time and it didn't disappoint. Easy to order and the product I received exceeded the description on the website. My wife was delighted and brownie points are now safely deposited in the bank. Thank you Steve and the team!

The booking process was easy and the consultations were fun and well organised! The flowers were stunning and smelt amazing! When I asked for flowers that were out of season Sian even managed to create a very similar version of them out of two other flowers - her experience and creativity make her florist the perfect choice for any special occasion!

Fantastic experience: So fortunate to have the Flower Lounge as my local florist. They always have the most beautiful bouquets for my birthday and anniversary. When I got engaged earlier this year there was absolutely no question about who we wanted to do our wedding flowers! Had the most thoughtful and curated planning consultation with Siân who understood exactly what I was envisioning and put together a perfect mood board. Fantastic experience: My favourite place in Didsbury! Always filled with a variety of absolutely gorgeous super fresh flowers and plants, as well as cute little gifts. The flowers are just different from other places in their freshness and uniqueness. I’ve been addicted to buying a nice arrangement every month or so as a treat for myself and can’t seem to stop! It’s also my go to place for a really nice gift or bouquet. They also have a loyalty programme and you can get nice discounts which is a plus!

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much!!! We chose to use The Flower Lounge for our wedding day in July 2024. The flowers were exquisite but most importantly the team were amazing to work with. Me and my now husband were able to have meetings discussing all things flowers!!! The team then designed a mood board for us which encapsulated our wedding. For me it was the first time it felt real, I was able to see our wedding coming together, the venue, the colour theme and the flowers all on one page. For our special day we tried to use all local vendors, which helped us more then you could imagine, everyone knew each other beforehand making it easy for everyone to make our dream a reality. Fantastic experience: My husband recently brought me a dried flower bouquet which was stunning. I was so impressed by it we got another arrangement the following week. The florists are exceptionally talented at putting together tasteful arrangements and are so enthusiastic about their work. Can highly recommend.

From my first chat with Emily to a zoom call with Sian herself to pin down the requirements, all was handled extremely professionally. Sian herself was present at the venue for the set up (on a Sunday) and the brief was more than met and to budget. Also the shop in Didsbury is lovely if you are local (sadly we are not or I would be a regular). Thanks Again.

Negative experience: Paid £40 for a bouquet that looks okay but is definitely not worth the price. It was sparse with few flowers, though it did come with a vase. Won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: Got these beautiful flowers for my girlfriend's birthday and they are perfect. They helped me create a bouquet around her favourite flowers and colours and even found a nice ribbon since they didn't have any flowers in one of her favourite colours. Fantastic experience: We got married at King Street Town House in June and had flowers from the Flower Lounge. I had a vague idea and photos from Pinterest. So wasn’t sure what they would actually look like but Sian and the team were amazing and the floral displays were stunning. I’d been trying so hard not to cry all morning and when I saw the flowers I had to try even harder. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and I loved it so much. We’d chosen a few flowers that had sentimental meanings and Sian managed to get her hands on them. Not only did they look beautiful, the smell of the flowers was amazing. Fantastic experience: The Flower Lounge did all our incredible florals for our wedding at Didsbury House Hotel in May. Every bouquet, buttonhole and arrangement was just perfect and exactly what we had wished for and more. I was blown away when I walked down the stairs and into the ceremony and later the wedding breakfast. The smell was just gorgeous too! We received so many compliments on the flowers from our guests. The all-white peonies and roses were absolutely stunning and brought an elegant and timeless beauty to our day. Sian's artistry and attention to detail truly brought our vision of a chic and stylish house-party style wedding to life.

Fantastic experience: Sian at the Flower Lounge did the flowers for our wedding and we can’t recommend her enough. We didn’t have a strong idea in mind for our flowers or any great knowledge but working with a few rough thoughts and some pinterest photos Sian was able to conjure up a wonderful theme and arrangement ideas. It was really great to have her expertise, creativity and support to bring it all to life. Working with Sian was great, she’s really warm and easy to talk to. She listens to (and remembers!) what you want but also helps guide you in the right direction. Whilst we had a good sense of what the flowers would look like, we were still blown away on the day, the arrangements and bouquets were all beautiful and perfectly complemented the venue. We can’t say thank you enough!

Fantastic experience: Yes, you're a stellar flower and gift shop - but many may not know that you offer this service: you've made the front of our home look so beautiful! We all absolutely love the addition of these gorgeous, vibrant potted plants in front. Thank you for your vision on this and for putting it all together and making the delivery! We are so happy with all of it. Whenever we are headed home now we look forward to seeing the front and it creates a lovely feeling as we enter our house.

Fantastic experience: Sian and the team created our flowers for our wedding at King Street Townhouse in December and they were simply stunning. Sian really listened through the process and delivered the perfect flowers for a winter wedding (even managing to include our request for pinks in the depths of winter). They really were beautiful!

Fantastic experience: The Flower Lounge did the amazing arrangements for our wedding in August 2023 and we could not recommend them more highly! We didn’t have much decor in mind for our wedding so the flowers were really important to us. From the first consultation we both felt so at ease by how friendly and professional Sian is! She completely understood the assignment and went above and beyond to source exactly the style of flowers and colour palette we had envisioned from a number of local growers. The team also decorated the pergola for our top table using some spare foliage they had in stock at no extra cost to us, this was such a generous and creative touch, and really added to the garden vibes! Our guests were blown away and we had so many comments on how beautiful and unique the designs were. Set up on the day was completely stress-free and the team moved floral designs from our ceremony venue to the reception seamlessly so we could appreciate the flowers all day and night. The final surprise was finding a flower press, chocolates and “flower lounge” scented candle (lush!) among our wedding gifts the next morning, another gift from the team - a really lovely touch! I still have vases of dried flowers from the wedding looking beautiful in the house 4 months later! Fantastic experience: We spent the most magical afternoon at Eleven Didsbury Park for one of The Flower Lounge’s Christmas Wreath Workshops. Having done a few other wreath workshops in the past, I can confidently say that this is the best there is! Firstly, the setting and festive refreshments provided are lovely (they even provided a delicious dairy free brownie for me). But the best part is the personal touch offered by the staff at The Flower Lounge. They give expert demonstrations and are then on hand throughout the workshop to give creative advice and a helping hand. The materials they provide are outstanding and the best part is that we left with the most showstopping Christmas wreaths. Amazing value for the luxury experience we got!

It was only a small one so didn't want anything too elaborate and she understood exactly what we were after and got the prefect balance. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. She even came in on a Monday when they are usually closed to have them ready for the day. I would highly recommend them.

The wreath making process was well explained and I felt like I learned lots. It was well paced and the array of beautiful foliage and other items to include in the wreath was amazing. So stunning. Fantastic experience: Siân is one of those rare florists that not only immediately understands what you want as a client, but also is able to use her own creativity to bring your vision to life. Having worked with other florists in the past, who simply just do as you tell them, it is quite refreshing to be able to get creative input from someone who knows their trade so well. Her knowledge of plants and flowers seems to know no limits! Her great business sense which helps so much as a client to be able to stay on budget, but she also has a great understanding and humanity. The Flower Lounge created this amazing jungle theme for my son's baptism and not only we were able to stay on (a very tight) budget but the plants and leaves provided were of outstanding quality and we were able to keep them at home in vases for weeks and weeks!! They do really some incredible work and I could not recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I can’t even begin to say how grateful we are to Sian! After having to postpone our wedding due to COVID, we at times felt pretty defeated but Sian was always on hand to buoy us back up! From the very start, Sian helped us to focus our ideas and helped us realise what would and would not be possible (due to which flowers would be in season) so that we always had a clear idea of what we could achieve. Over three years, I loved popping in to the shop to chat to Sian or messaging her on Instagram to share new ideas/visions and she was always kind and patient with me even when I was stressing! The flower designs on our actual wedding day… oh. My. God. They were absolutely stunning. Perfect. Insanely perfect!! As soon as I walked in to church, after seeing my husband to be, my eyes snapped to the gorgeous displays Sian and her team had created - they were everything we wanted and more! The reception designs made me burst into tears as I saw years of planning and dreaming before my very eyes. Every detail was thought of from the top table all the way down to the windowsills outside the toilets! Everything was just so, so beautiful and myself and my new husband (as well as our guests and the venue coordinates) were blown away. Sian loaded perfectly with our other vendors, especially our wedding stylist which took a load of stress off my shoulders. She was so friendly and helpful in working out exactly what we wanted, and she was super flexible throughout the whole pandemic (we had to move our date, and there was uncertainty about our second date going ahead too). She thought of everything; from the look of the flowers to how they’d work in the venue, and even how the scents would work on the day. We had tons of compliments about the decorations, and she made the day itself completely pain free - we barely noticed her setting up. The flowers were worth every penny and I will be continuing to visit the Flower Lounge - supermarket flowers just don’t compare now! I’ll update my review with pics once I have them back from the photographer, but I would already say I recommend The Flower Lounge 100%

I dealt with a lovely lady called Meg and she was so kind and professional. I needed a trusted local florist that was going to make a beautiful arrangement for an engagement. Meg confirmed what I wanted multiple times and was fully engaged. I know nothing about flowers and she really just simplified it for me. Positive experience: Nice flowers and artisan pieces however when you are buying a few bunches these guys will not give the tiniest of discounts. The lady at the till was rather happy about this and I cancelled my order based on this. Bit of a rip off.

Fantastic experience: Really lovely flower shop, my wife who was being treated at the christie, fell in love with the shop when we drove past every day so i decided to get a bouquet from them. It was absolutely amazing, very friendly team led by Sian who was super friendly and accommodating. Yes! Very very pleased!!

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding on the Saturday in March before lockdown-all was a bit up in the air for us. The flowers were one of the things that made our day as they were absolutely beautiful. Sian herself delivered to my hotel room and everything was just perfect. I am so glad that everything has worked out for The Flower Lounge.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Ordered a potted hydrangea for a friend and got the address wrong! Steve rang me & sorted it out. The plant was absolutely loved by my friend - and she has commented on the kindness of Steve. So, I’m very impressed by the quality of the plant but also of the service! Fantastic experience: A really great workshop on how to arrange Autumn flowers ... a welcome drink and piece of yummy shortbread followed by a great demonstration... then we all made our own arrangement with help from a couple of staff members. Highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: Sian and her team did all of our floral arrangements for our wedding at styal lodge. The biggest thing for us was the flowers as we wanted so many and for the room just smell like roses and it completely blew away our expectations! Sian created a floral chandelier and all of our guests commented on it so many people said how beautiful it was and they had never seen anything like it! Our whole venue was dressed with flowers and it looked amazing! It also helps that Sian is one of the most loveliest and approachable people to work with, she really listens to what you want and she completely went above and beyond! Thanks so much!
