Negative experience: I have purchased from here before and have been quite pleased, so decided to task them with making a 30 inch ships wheel for my brother’s funeral. I initially spoke to a lady that seemed to understand what I needed. I agreed to go and pay in-store at the end of the week, on Friday, funeral being on the following Tuesday. On going into the shop and asking to see what I was paying for, a different lady couldn’t show me what had been made yet, so instead pulled an impressive picture from the internet, we agreed on the colours and she advised how it would look etc, money paid £198. Very disappointed to receive this very substandard spray painted Effort, which didn’t resemble what we agreed on. It couldn’t be used as we were embarrassed. When ringing them and explaining that this is not what we ordered all they could repeatedly say is “Oh really” no resolution, so I wouldn’t recommend, and I am so glad all the other tribute flowers were ordered elsewhere. No resolution offered whatsoever.

Negative experience: Very rude staff and inconsiderate was stood outside the store to waiting for my partner who is disabled waiting to go in to purchase flowers and was told to move from the store as i am blocking the way in a very rude abrupt manner. When i asked why she could not have been polite other staff members approached and became aggressive clearly customer service and being inclusive is not their forte avoid !!!

Fantastic experience: The flower centre have done arrangements for both my grandparents funerals and we couldn't recommend them more highly. The arrangements produced were beautiful, even my slightly obscure request of creating a blackbird made of flowers as a personal tribute to one of my Nan's favourite stories. Everyone I deal with at the flower centre was incredibly helpful and very compassionate. There's a wide range of options on their website for any occasion and they were able to modify arrangements to make them more personal. If you need flowers for any occasion, definitely order from here.

Negative experience: I ordered two different funeral flowers via their website, went to pick them up the day of the funeral, only one lot of flowers had been done, I said that I ordered two lots and the woman re looked through my order and had completely missed one of my orders !!! They then had to quickly complete one of the funeral wreaths, not something you want to deal with on the day of your brothers funeral !!! So they had to rush it through, 2 hours before the funeral !!!!! Definitely will not be using this business again !!!!

Positive experience: THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A 5* REVIEW They always provide beautiful flowers delivered on time . I wouldn't use anywhere else , recommended to friends and family who now use them . When you go to the shop, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The Flowers went off a bit after COVID so dropped to a three star and used somewhere else *** Have given them another go recently and the quality of the blooms seems to be back up to standard so back to a four *** I'm pleased with the last couple of arrangements i've ordered.

Fantastic experience: The Flower Centre did both mine and my sisters wedding flowers over 25 years ago. As their reviews were consistently good, we chose them to make the arrangements for a very dear family member's funeral. We knew exactly what we wanted and provided them with the details and also info about what we didn't want. We asked if they were able to include double lollies in the coffin spray and they did manage to source some, they were stunning. The ladies were extremely helpful and we were able to go to take some pictures of the flowers in their workshop on the afternoon before the funeral. We would not hesitate in recommending.

I ordered the flowers at 1.30PM today 12.30am for me as I live in Australia and they were delivered within the hour. Service is second to none! 2nd time in 2 months I have ordered her flowers and she is over the moon.

Fantastic experience: I ordered some flowers online for Valentine’s Day with the intention of surprising my partner at work by having them on here desk before she got into work. Unfortunately the flowers I ordered online was frankly diabolical! After calling around countless florists I had no joy getting hold of any red roses never lone 24 which I was after and in the short time frame I needed them. My last ditch attempt was this amazing company who not only had the red roses and was well prepared for such a special day for most people with plenty of red roses they also seemed to understand my situation and after agreeing a price which was higher than I expected (I had never purchased 24 red roses or any flower/flowers for that matter from a florist before only once online and didn’t know how much they actually cost, but the price was reasonable if not better compared to other florists) they had them ready to go within 30 minutes and wow!!! What an absolute amazing bouquet they put together for me! Honestly I never seen such beautiful fresh quality roses in my life, I could see that my money was well spent! The ladies helped me out so much I couldn’t thank them enough. I managed to deliver my valentines surprise to my partner who was absolutely over the moon with the flowers. For that I’m extremely grateful! The Teddy bear, chocolates and card in the photo was from the online company not the Flower Centre Birmingham company. Only the flowers :). I will see you next year. Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding flowers, service and care. I’ve used this shop for my mom’s birthdays, mothers days, anniversaries and finally her funeral. The care shown by the florists is absolutely exceptional, mom was housebound, partially blind and deaf for her final years, this florist went way beyond their role to ensure Mom always received her flowers in top condition and even took them in for her, arranged them and made sure they were left in a way they would last and no further care was needed. They showed great kindness to mom which I will always be grateful for. Nothing was too much trouble. Her final flowers (funeral) were a fabulous display and a perfect fitting tribute. This made a huge difference to the day of moms funeral. She loved flowers and you captured her favourites perfectly. Thank you so much for everything you did for Mom. I can’t recommend this florist (and special thanks to Sylvia) enough. Helen Heron (my girls and brother also ordered flowers from you and they were all absolutely outstanding. THANK YOU ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have used the services of the Flower Centre several times. Brilliant courteous service. Really, really helpful Pleasure in these times to recommend such service. I ordered flowers for my wife for AM delivery on the day of our wedding anniversary. On the day prior to delivery, the wife informed me that she had to be somewhere for an appointment at 10am on delivery day. I contacted Flower Centre, and suggested that if delivery could not be made prior to 9.15am, then to deliver after 12.30. At 9am on delivery day the Beautifully arranged Hat Box of flowers arrived, allowing my wife to receive them at the door. BRILLIANT SERVICE> Thank you.

Monday morning, they sorted out some difficulties with where to send it when they couldn't get me because I was sleeping. Amazing. And the flowers were perfect and beautiful! Fantastic experience: Initially, I was sent an e-catalogue to browse through. After this, I spoke to a friendly lady who patiently helped guide me through the different floral tributes for my Mum's funeral. Once I chosen the style, the lady was more than happy to change the colour schemes shown in the catalogue to something that more personally represented my Mum. The tribute was delivered on the day of the funeral directly to the funeral directors. They were there in plenty of time. The arrangement was absolutely stunning. I felt that the time and care put in to putting the arrangement together, had been personally for my Mum. It wasn't as expensive as I'd expected it to be but it was more beautiful. I did everything very easily over the phone but was given the option to actually visit the shop so I could write the cards out to do with the flowers to give them that extra personal touch. I will definitely be using The Flower Centre in future for any flowers I need sending. Thank you to everyone at The Flower Centre that did my Mum proud.

Negative experience: The ladies in this shop bully and intimidate their customers. The flowers are mainly dead and the service is just as bad as the dead flowers. There's plenty of other local florists who provide good customer service and treat customers with respect

Negative experience: I went in yesterday afternoon, the woman who works in the shop was extremely rude and unhelpful. You would assume that with covid they would appreciate the business, obviously not. Definitely not recommended!

Fantastic experience: Very helpful. Able to deliver, give advice and recommend something to reflect you or your home. Really pleasant. Good value. The selection on show varies and I think you probably need to ask what's available or in season etc and be prepared to wait or order for later if it's not in already. Plants look healthy and cared for. Many come in nice pots and arrangements. Obviously they can order things in for you. Right now they're open to visit or buy online

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. Ordered £75 flowers Even sent pictures I. Advance of how I wanted them . Abs spoke directly to a representative of everything I wanted . Basically looked absolutely cheap when I got them home and looked at them properly . And didn’t even have the balloon I asked for it to have . Which I stated to them When I picked up flowers and she just said without any concern or any cate. You didn’t order one . I explained I spoke to herself and did ask for one with the diamonds I paid for. She just mumbled and didn’t even offer to make it right. It was -4 so just rushed into my car without having chance to look at them as it was freezing . But when I got home and put them on the mantle piece I was horrified! The roses used were thin and cheap. Tesco had better roses in store. The arrangement was disappointing and no effort was put into it. Roses just sticking out tall and randomly with no arrangement. And thin straggly leafs just here and there leaving loads of gaps. I’m fuming . If I didn’t live so far I would have gone back to store . I called store and spoke to the manager I’m hope she could put it right and she told me she had no deliveries left so I would have to come all the way so she could rectify ! And said I live too far for her to come to i between deliveries . But yet expected me to come all the way . When they were the ones negligent in the first place .Poor service . Even if she offered to redo them and get them out to me on another day I would have been satisfied but Nothing! I contacted them before I left review so they had chance to put it right . I feel robbed

They said it is quite big (difficult to tell the size on the website) and filled with lots of fresh flowers as well as the dried oranges and foliage. Thank you for the excellent service.
