Negative experience: I ordered Mother’s Day flowers from here via Interflora. They did not arrive. No call or email to explain what had happened. So disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I used Joanne’s via interflora - ordered a bouquet at 9am, and they were on the doorstep by 1pm even though the delivery slot was until 6pm! Really pleased. The flowers are gorgeous and possibly even better and more lush than the interflora photo.

Negative experience: Very Disappointed – Terrible Customer Service I’ve been a loyal Interflora customer for many years, but unfortunately, Joannes Florist has provided one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order for my niece’s 18th birthday — a very special occasion — only to be met with poor service and rudeness. The florist marked the flowers as “delivered” when they hadn’t been. When I called to find out what happened, I was told the driver attempted delivery, and when no one answered, they took the flowers home. Despite this, they still marked them as delivered — completely unacceptable and misleading. I tried to explain calmly on the phone that this wasn’t right, but instead of an apology, I was met with an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. The lady acted as though they had done me a favour by not leaving the flowers unattended — as if taking them home was a suitable solution. She also pointed out that I only paid for standard delivery — does that somehow justify bad service and rudeness? I don’t think so. I’ve never had an experience this poor with Interflora until now. I won’t be using Joannes Florist again.

Who followed his story on BBC Children's Hospital series. We wanted a colourful posy with a sunflower, which represents Aaron personality. The flowers were absolutely beautiful—fresh, elegant, and exactly what we had hoped for. My bouquet was stunning and tied in perfectly with the overall look of the day, and the buttonholes were classic and well-made. While communication was a little challenging in the beginning, everything came together brilliantly in the end. Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers Friday to go to a lady who wasn't very well. The flowers and chocolates were delivered Saturday morning. They were beautiful, super fresh. I requested the flowers to have lillies and red roses with a 'bit of a christmassy theme' absolutely delivered spot on to my request. When our boss asked us to sort the flowers I automatically knew that Joanne's would do me proud. Our friend and colleague was so happy she cried! Joanne has done 'my happy events' (wedding) and sad event's for me. I would not go anywhere else, thank you. Maria.

Positive experience: I have ordered many floral arrangements from small businesses all around the UK. They are always keen to be helpful, discuss colours, designs costs, delivery etc. The feedback pics I get are always a delight. I found the same good service when ordering an abundant hatbox arrangement called Twilight Dreams on Joanne's website, ensuring she could replicate the colours, number of blooms and design for my daughter's birthday surprise. I was assured this was the case, so I paid over the phone and arranged date and time of delivery. When it arrived my daughter sent a picture of a fairly sorry replica of the website illustration with fewer flowers and gaps in the arrangement. I immediately rang Joanne and told her of my disappointment. She offered to make up another arrangement straight away, deliver and take back the original. This is where my 'complaint' ends. My daughter sent a second picture and the flowers looked lovely. The colours were still right but there were far more blooms. I rang again, this time to thank Joanne for the replacement. I just wish she'd got it right first time: she would have saved herself time and petrol. Hopefully the difference in the illustrations will be helpful.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to a special friend on 27th August 2024. Not only did they more than fulfill my order, my friend was overwhelmed with the beautiful bouquet, she has messaged me today to say there are still numerous flowers still going strong!! This is after 22 days !! So impressed, thank you so much Joanne.

Negative experience: Came in on Saturday around 3pm. There were 2 staff members there. One was busy helping another customer and the other (female, tall, large build) was free but chose to ignore me for the first few minutes. I politely asked for a small bouquet to be made, was not allowed to even finish my sentence before she rudely interrupted me and said they were closing soon and she won’t help me and to choose from the 3 pre-made bouquets in a very abrupt and rude manner. I despise bad customer service and this has discouraged me from ever going into this florist again. I love to support small businesses but when customer service is not there I will refuse to spend my money there. When the staff member who was helping another customer became free she asked her colleague “what is this lady having?”, and was told “I said I won’t do anything”, right infront of me. So they could have made a bouquet but chose not to. The smaller staff member who was helping the other customer seemed lovely and was having a nice conversation with her customer. I wish she had dealt with me instead of the one who spoke to me. I ended up walking out of the florist and going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Went in to buy/order some flowers. The lady that approached me (white, older lady, shoulder length blonde hair, medium height and build) was SO rude: she put me OFF from buying flowers. SERVICE WITH A SMILE could never be more important. Went to Roses Florists and had much better service there. Avoid this place if you want to be spoken to with respect and treated like a valued customer.

Negative experience: Acknowledging that 21st Century business life has it's cost and expenses to bear. a charge £4.95 for a delivery charge for a 2 minute return journey is unreasonable. Call handler showed no flexibility and offered no concession. Clearly did not want my money or business.

Fantastic experience: I found Joannes Florist online and am so glad that I did. The Blue Collection as per photo was for my late Aunt who passed away suddenly in Hospital. Even though the Funeral Directors was approx. 12 miles away, all went to plan and the Flowers arrived in good time (apologies as during the upsetting time I may have given B26 instead of B28 postcode). Thankfully all arrived fine. I had to call Joanne a few times with various queries and her attitude, manner and empathy made the whole experience easy. Nothing was too much trouble (even down to adding a "Sister" Ribbon to the Wreath from my Mom and writing 3 x separate Cards for us all. Thank You Joanne. Jan x

Negative experience: I ordered funeral flowers from here and I will NEVER purchase from here again. I once ordered from a third party website and when I collected them I was advised to order directly from the store as they will do better bunches for that price. So this time I asked if they could make a red and white sheaf similar to another website so they could see what I wanted. I paid £60!!!! These flowers were so tiny for what I paid and I was so disappointed. I never got a picture and I never bothered to complain at the time due to the circumstance but I would advice you not to order from here! The size of the flowers were around 40cm and hardly any flowers in there. I order a LARGE SIZE 60cm.

Negative experience: Asked for the delivery to be any time except an hour slot where my wife wouldn’t be in and they came exactly when i asked them not to be delivered. Phoned up.. got fobbed off with being busy. My daughter got the ‘nice surprise’ instead. Nice flowers but half the gesture is the surprise which I didn’t get so rubbish service really
