Fantastic experience: We recently used Monica for our wedding flowers. I changed my mind a couple of times on the design I wanted and I’m so glad I changed my mind! I asked for spring vibes with lovely pastel colours. When they arrived at the venue we were all blown away, my mum started crying, the wedding team wanted to steal them they were beautiful. The lady who delivered them on a miserable dark Christmas eve was so lovely and made the surprise even more special.

April and the rest of the team did a fantastic job and we were thrilled with how beautiful all the flowers and arrangements looked. They were great at communicating throughout the whole process and were happy to make any changes each time I changed my mind and had forgotten about something that needed adding. We ordered a bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 buttonholes, a top table arrangement, 2 corsages and had 3 bud vases for each table. The colours were just stunning and even included peonies, which I had asked for but there was no guarantee that they would be ready for June. I was so happy when I spotted them in my bouquet. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Monica Hewett to anyone looking for flowers for a special event. You helped make our day that extra bit magical.

The bouquet was gorgeous and everything I had hoped it would be - the colours were perfect and the choice of flowers just what I would have chosen. Fantastic experience: The team at Monica Hewitt did a fantastic job on our wedding flowers in November 2024. We came to them with what could be described as a more unusual request - we really wanted to only use locally grown, in season growth. Other florists wouldn't give the idea the light of day and tried to persuade us otherwise - but we would have rather just not had flowers if it wasn't possible. The team didn't even blink an eye when we asked, and seemed excited at the challenge to produce something beautiful at that time of year. The bouquets and table centre pierces were stunning and exactly what we had asked for. They provided a flower crown for our cake which absolutely made the design! I love flowers and our wedding flowers far exceeded my expectations. April is a warm, friendly and very talented person who really listened to us and the whole team provided excellent communication. We enjoyed meeting your dogs at the shop. I was so sad to leave my flowers a few days later to head off on our honeymoon. We distributed to family and friends so they could enjoy them and dried lots at home. Some of my dried wedding bouquet are in a vase at home and remind me of our special day. Fantastic experience: Had our initial wedding consultation with April. I was really nervous after having been to another florist and not having a very positive experience. April was friendly, knowledgeable and listened to exactly what we wanted. I had already bought an artificial bouquret for my bridesmaid which I took down to the appointment with me so I could tie my bouquet in with it. I wasn't sure how the florist would react but April was fab and even offered to tweak the artificial bouquet and add some real gypsophilia in with it. The process was so easy and simple from start to finish. The flowers arrived on time on the wedding day with a full set of instructions on how to care for and how to handle them. My bridal bouquet was EXACTLY like the photo I had shown them and the button holes were so delicate and exactly as we had asked. Absolutely beautiful flowers and lovely friendly staff. I would not hesitate to use them again and will be recommending to everyone!

Negative experience: Mothers day flowers not as requested. Poor quality cheap flowers in bouquet. When asked to replace, they took old flowers back that had in house for 2 days. Probably to try and sell again at full price. Replaced with small bunch not even wrapped look half dead. I do not recommend this florist, supermarket flowers at florists prices. Poor customer service.

Order was made late Friday night for next day delivery. Called in the morning to see if the could make it in the morning. And they went out of their way to deliver before midday. The delivery was perfect ,on time and just as promised. My mum was so surprised and loved them . From the pics she sent me .The flowers were even more beautiful than they look online . I made an order for an all white bouquet and asked if they could add a few light pink ones and they did. It made it so much more beautiful. They really went the extra mile to accommodate my extra requests and that was really lovely.

When I first met with Helen, she instantly put me at ease and seemed to understand instantly what I needed and the vision I was going for in my upcoming wedding. She put a couple of things together on the fly and I was blown away at how talented she was. I knew instantly that she was the florist for the wedding. The guys in the shop are so, so lovely and really care about what they do. It makes the experience amazing and more importantly, easy - especially when you're planning something so big. On the day, the flowers were delivered with complete care and Helen made sure she went through everything with me to make sure I was happy - I was! The flowers were gorgeous and more importantly, lasted the day... I can't thank them enough.
