Fantastic experience: Helen provided us with 11 beautiful posies with goldfish bowls to present them in and a big bouquet - all were beautiful and our guests all commented on how lovely the arrangements were. She was so flexible and helpful and it was also brilliant value for money - highly recommend!

Despite being extremely busy Helen attended to my requirements immediately providing a beautiful bouquet at a very reasonable price. Fantastic experience: Absolutely blown away with how beautiful the flowers for my mums funeral were, they exceeded my expectations by far. I asked for an owl as my mum loved them, so I sent a picture of the kind of thing I was looking for & WOW, when I saw it, it looked better than I ever imagined. This is the ONLY place I will ever shop for flowers now & I cannot thank Tompkins enough! Simply Stunning & so reasonable in price.

Fantastic experience: I used Tomkins Florists for my mum's funeral last month. They were absolutely beautiful. My sister recommended Tomkins as she had come across them for her mother-in-law's funeral earlier this year. I remembered how good they were but as I no longer live locally and there was no website, I was a bit unsure about ordering at first. However, seeing an example on Google Reviews of the type of coffin wreath I was after, I called and spoke to Helen, who was fantastic. She gave me great advice on sizing and a very competitive estimate over the phone. We arranged for me to pop in when I went up to see the Funeral Director. I looked through her book of previous examples and we chose flowers based on colour, seasonality and mum's favourites. She also added in sprigs of rosemary at my request (in a nod to mum's middle name). I also wanted 2 dozen single stem roses for family to place on the coffin plus a handtied bouquet in matching blooms for the wake. Mum's cousins also ordered via Tomkins. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend Helen and the shop.

She was personally brilliant and she got it spot on with tying all the different aspects of our wedding theme together with the most amazing bouquets and floral decorations. Fantastic experience: We ordered our wedding flowers from Helen. We were very relaxed with what we wanted and just gave Helen a 'wildflower' theme, and when they arrived they were perfect. Everything tied together perfectly and we couldn't be more grateful. Helen was a star in the lead up to the big day - we popped over to the shop a few times, but also had Helen on hand for some last minute changes. A dream to work with - highly recommend Helen for all your floral needs!

Positive experience: Hopefully this review will provide some useful feedback. I stopped by on a whim to buy 80th birthday flowers. The flower arrangement was nice. However the additional styling was vey old fashioned, and cheapened the arrangement. I also found the sales assistant difficult (older lady, maybe the florists mum helping out? On reflection she didn't seem to be experienced in customer service). The flower were wrapped in thick plain white plastic then with another plastic cellophane ruffle with an old fashioned big plastic ruffly bow added on at the check out. There was an excessive use of cellotape as well. It felt like there was more plastic than flowers unfortunatly. I asked if it was possible to have something other than white plastic as I didn't think it did the arrangement justice and importantly I didnt think my grandma would like it (she loves bright colours) but the sales assistant got defensive saying she liked it and thought it looked good, so no - it was going to be plain white. I wouldn't of thought this was an outlandish request to have a choice of wrapping on a £35/40 bunch of flowers, but I was made to feel that way. This is what made me feel the sales assistant wasn't used to customer service. Also, even though I declined to have a message card (because the designs again were old fashioned and I had already purchased a birthday card eksewhere) I was pressured to have one which ultimately I didn't use, so wasteful again. I just brushed this off this bad experience at the time, at least I'd got my flowers, but felt frustrated afterwards she had been so rude and felt it was important that the she, the sales assistant, liked the gift over the person it was intended for or the person paying. Being honest, as soon as I left the shop I felt instant regret at my choice of florist based on the styling and customer service. Luckily I had some materials at home and managed to re wrap the flowers (with the help of you tube!) Using Kraft paper, a colourful complimenting tissue paper and simple fabric ribbon. Much more contemporary and tasteful with less plastic. They no longer looked like old fashioned supermarket flowers and I loved the restyled outcome and had lots of compliments on the arrangement so not all was lost. Wish I'd of taken photos of the before and after.

Fantastic experience: Ordered all the flowers for my wedding on Sunday 17th October 2021 - they were amazing. The wedding bouquet,hand tied posy's with button holes were delivered as stated by 9.30am ready for our special day . They then delivered the button holes (clearly labeled for groom etc) and the table decorations to Morley Hayes in Derbyshire . Everyone said how beauful the flowers were . The next day I gave all the flower arrangements to family members as they still looked fresh .

Fantastic experience: First class service with a first class product. Yes it's more expensive than a bouquet from a supermarket but for a special occasion nothing beats an individual prepared bunch of flowers gift wrapped by your local florist. I've never been let down by this place in 14 years or so.

Fantastic experience: I ordered two baskets of flowers on behalf of my work colleagues for 2 different work mate (one leaving and 1 birthday). The baskets were absolutely beautiful and the colours were amazing. The 2 people who received them were thrilled and everyone said how stunning they both were. So thank you Tomkins and also to them for delivering at the last minute as it was raining and this really helped me out. Highly recommend this florist.

Fantastic experience: I ordered my wedding flowers, including bouquet, top table flowers, button hole and corsages. I visited the florist, Helen on 3 separate occasions with a change of type of flower's, type of greenery and to ask if the hem of my dress and some tulle could be used to tie my hand tied bouquet. Nothing was too much trouble. When I received the flowers on the day I was absolutely delighted. They were amazing! I was more than happy with them. I would certainly recommend this florist.
