Before finding them, we spoke to several other florists and were shocked by some of the prices we were being quoted. Many also felt quite pushy when it came to upselling. Nicola and Vicky were the complete opposite. They took the time to understand our vision, worked within our budget, and even suggested clever ways to reduce costs without compromising the overall look. From the first call, we could tell that she was incredibly knowledgeable and she gave us some great advice on how to achieve the decor vision we were after. We had a combination of bud vases and floral meadows as well as bouquets and buttonholes, which were all better than we could have imagined! Fantastic experience: From the first second we met Vicky we knew we trusted her to do her floristry magic and create something beautiful for our wedding. Although our brief and vision was not very detailed, Vicky immediately helped us, gave us suggestions and options depending on our budget and was happy to meet our budget no matter what it was. Negative experience: Horrendous experience. Would NOT recommend!!! We had a zoom call with the owner. My wife to be asked a few questions when the quote was sent. Six weeks later and three emails later. Still no response. Felt really let down and the level of service was something I’ve never experienced in my lifetime!

Fantastic experience: I reached out to Vicky around 1.5 years before our big day for a consultation, I loved her photos on Instagram and trusted she would be able to make my vision a reality. It was clear that from talking to Vicky, she had a passion for flowers, as do I. I provided Vicky with lots of inspiration photos and even a list of the specific sentimental flowers I would like to feature in my wedding. Vicky was so understanding of this and welcomed all of my input, providing advice on ways to compliment my vision throughout. Vicky even helped us to source candle sticks on very short notice when we decided to add to our décor, 1.5 weeks before the wedding! On the day of the wedding, I cried with happiness as soon as Vicky entered the cottage with my bouquet. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was in awe of how perfect they were. They exceeded all my expectations, the colours, the size, the size of each statement flower, the amount of petals, the details of each individual flower. I've shed many tears over my flowers since the wedding, I wish I could keep them forever. I am now emotionally attached! Fantastic experience: Vicky was the florist for our wedding in May and produced the most beautiful bouquets, buttonholes and floral displays - everything was perfect and it was amazing to see our vision (which was admittedly quite vague!) brought to life! She managed to go above and beyond with my wedding flowers, my bouquet was perfect & it smelt absolutely divine!! Being completely new to floral arrangements we were admittedly very vague when communicating our “vision” and ideas of what we wanted. Never the less, Vicky managed to coach out the information she needed and somehow managed to create exactly what we wanted. We received so many positive comments throughout the day from guests on the floral arrangements. As an added bonus and testament to the quality of the flowers, they lasted for a long time after the ceremony allowing us to really get the most out of them. Can’t recommend Vicky highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Florals were a huge part of my wedding and Vicky absolutely smashed it. I can't decide if I was the dream client or a nightmare one, because I had a pretty vague brief: sunset colours and romantic. Vicky was happy to run with it, and I couldn't have been more pleased that I didn't have to have forty conversations with a supplier (I mean, she was delightful to talk to and very reassuring I was just a bit over wedding-planning by this point ha). We opted for a floral arch to get married in front of, as well as bouquets for me and the bridesmaids, small centrepieces for the tables, and buttonholes for the blokes. Everything was fresh and stunning. I had so many compliments on the day and the bouquets lasted ages afterwards - I took mine on the honeymoon! Communication on budgeting was clear and adapted to our needs, and on the day communication was great too. 10/10, great job, great vision, would hire again.

My bouquet as well as the bridesmaids were perfect and everything i had asked for/imagined! The table aisle decorations were amazing, so many of our guests commented on our floral centrepieces. Fantastic experience: What an amazing wedding florist, I love floristry and gardening and honestly could not have found a better fit for our wedding day. Vicky just “gets it”, her knowledge is second to none, she can do luxury on your budget and always throws in some creative flair. She was happy to change and add to the order as it developed in the wedding planning process, and is very understanding of this. We were never made to feel hurried or rushed in our choices, and her workshop is a treasure trove for inspiration. Do not hesitate to contact her, she leaves some of the “better known” florists in the dust.

Fantastic experience: I booked my wedding with 5months to go. I initially had a bit of trouble finding a florist for my New Years Eve wedding. I was recommended Vicky at Floral Quarter by a friend. She sends you a form to complete with your information about your wedding, such as colour schemes and style. I then had my first appointment, Vicky had made a Pinterest board for me and everything on it was absolutely beautiful. From that first appointment I just knew she would do something so beautiful for my wedding. She absolutely did not disappoint, my flowers were amazing. I’ve had so so so many compliments on them. After our wedding we put a large floral arrangement on relatives graves and they lasted for ages! I’ve dropped some hints to my husband to get me flowers from Vicky for every anniversary haha! Seriously though I really could not recommend her enough, there was absolutely no negative I could comment on!

Fantastic experience: Great service, lovely flowers.

Negative experience: Nice flowers but not the colour I asked for (lime green and red) and not delivered on the day I asked for, not left with neighbour as requested, no flower food and half of them were dead within a few days. I chose local rather than going through Interflora or Eflorist so the florist didn't have to pay a % but I was disappointed - maybe I'm out of touch with what you get for £30 + delivery.

Fantastic experience: Floral Quarter provided an amazing bouquet, button holes and centre pieces for our wedding at BALTIC in Gateshead in May 2015. Vicky spent time with us via email and in person to ensure she created exactly what we had envisaged. The wild flower style suited our wedding perfectly and everyone said they looked and smelled absolutely gorgeous, and we thought so too.
